- How much weight can you remove from your car? Well in today's video we take weight reduction to the next level and find out!
I show you how much the seats weigh, how much the stuff in the trunk weighs, how much the carpets and sound deadening weigh, how much the plastic interior pieces weigh, how much the sunroof weighs, and finally how much the dash weighs.

@@cladysmith9505 There isn't a better way to put this
Just a disclaimer for anyone who doesn’t know: DONT immediately go to remove an airbag after disconnecting a battery and thinking it’s disarmed. I’m sure you’ve mentioned it in previous videos but airbags are linked to capacitors that can store the circuit energy and keep the bag live. It’s always Good practice to wait 15 to 30 minutes after disconnecting the battery to let the capacitor dissipate the electricity elsewhere first.
Here's a tip that came straight from the Honda dealer during the airbag recall nonsense.
Take you're battery terminal cables after you have removed the battery and just hold them together to complete the circuit after about 1 minute all the capacitors should be discharged.
I got that response after I made a terrible joke about the airbag blowing up in the techs face the moment he touched it.

I've done it myself, so I can feel the hardships, but it feels good to watch it in a simple and shortened way!

*clicks on how to change tire video* hey guys it's every CZcamsr nowadays, tires are important. They are round which is good for rolling. They are filled with air which reduces turbulence. They are rubbery which is good for traction and breaking. They have rims which is good for showing off. They are black which is good for racists to learn to coexist. They are attached to the breaks which is good for stopping. There is four of them which is good for balance. So if your tire is damaged or missing you should really consider changing the tire. In today's video I'm gonna be teaching you the top 10 best ways to change a tire. So let's not waste anyone's time and get right to it but first don't forget to bosh that like button before you see weather or not this video was actually informative and even more importantly smash that subscribe button, I make these videos not for a chance at passive income nor grocery store level fame but because I read some guide to making these cookie cutter youtube videos and have my moms nice Camara. And don't forget to click the bell so your phone will piss you off more than it does. Okay so lets jump right into the video no lenghty intros on this channel. First thing you want to do is identify the 4 tires on your car. Then you want to check their psi. You do this buy taking your car to a mechanic and having them use their special psi tool that looks like a flute. Check your owners manual for the psi you're car desires. Usually its about 55 psi. If they are below that change them for new ones. Dont cheap out and buy used. Now that your new tire arrived in the mail. Fill it to 55 psi. Jack up your car, pull old tire off (doesn't show the 1 detail you were looking for). And that's it. Now you can drive around with a rounded tire car. If you somehow made it this far without hitting the back button please like and subscribe to my channel for more cookie cutter how tos overly long and hardly helpful. That's the way the cookie crumbles...
@@andrewg5235 did you just write the entire script of those youtubers it looks like no one is safe from people finding their extremely long scripts

You can also remove the indicators, no one who drives a BMW uses them.😂😂
ye same. my 3 series is sick
And the speedo
Honestly I don't know why is this the case for BMW drivers. Because I just got a MINI and the indicators are amazing. Subtle and deep clicking sound for indicator sound.
What even makes it the best indicator system I've tried is that the indicator goes two clicks each direction. click them once and the indicator indicates 3 or 5 times depending on your settings you selected. This is such a useful feature when I want to change lanes and not have to manually stop the indicator. I just set it to indicate 5 times, so that I let it indicate three times while driving in my lane and then start changing lane while the last 2 indicates are going. Perfect lane change with seamless effort.

That's because it's a BMW not all cars have this much stuff🤡
I rolled my 2005 Prius in 2016. By the grace of God, I walked away with no broken bones.
Had the car towed to my house, then spent the next few days removing everything from the ac vents to the visors, radio, sunglasses holder, door panels, actuators, covers for the tweeters, glove compartment, rear hatch panel and electric latch actuator, window/door lock controls, cup holders, power button, airbags, hybrid battery, etc. etc. etc.
I then organized everything, took pictures and posted everything on ebay.
Absorbed a lot of the cost from totaling the car without full coverage. And it was pretty satisfying knowing everything was being put to use and not wasting away in a junkyard in the rain
@Type Writer Simply cut it off and sell it on ebay of course!
If you would have cut the catalytic converters off of it about four to six months ago the right person those would have brought you $1,800 hope you didn't scrap the car and leave the Converters on it because they're still worth well over 1,300 right now...!!!!
and I could use a good engine
@@motersickel there’s no way. I can buy a brand new (off brand but Prius compatible) catalytic converter off eBay for $150
I just looked it up and holy shit. That’s crazy. I parted my old Prius out about 6 years ago so I doubt it was worth near as much.
My current Prius has a clogged catalytic converter. Wonder is that effects value. I know they’re wanted for the rhodium and platinum not for the function of the apparatus themselves.
Also, the engine on my wrecked Prius had nearly 300k miles
@Type Writer well, you have a pimp limp now right? so go out there and work it.

Luckily I don't game that much or else I'd be flat broke, but hell I can barely even download games now because my ISP limits me to 150gb a month and a lot of games are that size now.
They have software now so you can easily clone your OS onto the new drive. Everyone likes a fresh install but man that's soooooo much easier. I cloned both my drives. Chrisfix is so good to watch that when I run out of videos to watch I just watch them again 🤣
The dry ice part is a nice tip. In the cleaning industry there’s a product used to freeze bubble gum and remove from surfaces. For such a big removal though, dry ice is a great idea.
PRO-TIP : Dry-ice blasting is also incredibly great for blasting under the car to clean remove rust & make the belly shine+ any other mechanical parts like, steering-rack, suspension A-arms & bushings, engine oil-pan, the intricate gearbox housing pattern, remove the dust on brakes+rims just looking like brand new again..
@@poplaurentiu4148 hmmmmm!
what's that product?
@@poplaurentiu4148 I know what I’m doing this weekend now, thanks
I did it the other way, with a heat gun. It worked also with a hair drier, but it was slow. The rest of the sticky bitumenous crap was cleaned with toulene.
