Sir Jackie Stewart - Tribute to the Legend

- Sir Jackie Stewart is one of the greatest legend of Formula 1 and motorsport, not just he was one of the best drivers, not just he is a three-time world champion with 27 grand prix wins, not just he had run his own team which won a race back in 1999 but he has a legacy - the safety of modern Formula 1. He did his best to stop the killing years of Formula 1 and that has affected the whole motorsport. I made this tribute to one of the greatest heroes because I really admire him and I really appreciate what he did for the sport. He wasn't the most popular driver, but he also didn't listen the others that he's "a wimp" and he didn't change his mind which has saved many lifes of racing drivers since then.

Formula 1 is a world of glamour, passion and excitement. With some incredible stories and tales, many of which have good endings but there are even some sad ones. Only the best of the best can drive those beasts around all the challenging tracks in the world - from Monaco to Suzuka. Legends like Fangio, Clark, Stewart, Lauda, Prost, Senna, Schumacher and Hamilton... just hearing these names gives you "goosebumps"! And only true fans can understand why we sit in front of our TVs from March until November and watch the greatest drivers in the world chasing that championship trophy. It's a long journey, but only a few can achieve their dreams.
Formula 1 is also my big passion. I have followed this sport for more than 20 years. While we may never understand feelings of racing drivers, we, fans, have some special feelings too, when we see our favourites succeeding. And that is something hard to describe as well. Then comes "When Words Are Not Enough" as I try to share my passion and represent all the emotions to you, the fans. To never forget those special moments. I'm not Stewart's biggest fan, but he is the only great driver to retire at his peak.

Well, Fangio was 47 when he retired, so personally I don't think he was, still a great driver though.
He was clay pigeon champion before F1 Champion , he also had a gas station close to my home in Dumbuck Scotland.

The opening shot, with the picture of sir Jackie is a bit macabre... it looks as if he has died, with the black background, and that fuzzy edged photo of him. Maybe a more cheerful image would be more appropriate, for sor Jackie will live to be 114!
