    One trick you didn't mention explicitely is that you can easily empty your hand with Brushhopper in response to Balancing Act to clear everything - including hands - but the Brushhopper.
    The surprise factor usually only works once, as the deck is easy to identify with those wacky lands you won't see anywhere else.
    Good job with those videos! :)

      Good point! It is very recognizable from all of those lands.

    Best deck yet! And deck that runs obliterate is great in my book. Blow it all up! 🔥 This channel is my favorite for Premodern content.

      Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoy the videos. There aren't that many premodern channels but I will definitely take the compliment

    Fantastic. I loved this kind of deck when it was in standard. Though that was more the Nether Spirit Haups/Obliterate shell. Still this looks super fun. Im gonna build this. Great video again, sir!

      Ahh that was just before my time. Sounds awesome, I wish I was playing competitively back then so I knew what the decks were. I started properly in invasion/odyssey standard

      @@IPlayMagic simpler times. I remember the first time I played against standstill. And how brutal the card advantage beating was. People were also worse back in the day.. many a free win fell in people's laps, because strategies could stay secret.. less info, and an unknown metagame could really punish unaware players. It was a damn good time.

    Man, the spice is strong with this deck. Looks budget friendly as well!

    • @IPlayMagic
      @IPlayMagic  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah it's really cheap, most of these cards dont see play in any other decks. I already bought the invasion lands in foil because theyre so cheap

    This is one of the best unconventional premodern strategies.
    I love Balancing Tings ❤️

      Yeah I loved it back in the day and still love it today! It's almost unchanged from how it was in old extended too.

      @@IPlayMagic I actually cannot decide between this and a few other decks which one to build in real.
      Balance strategies have a special place in my heart, since I used to play Restore Balance in Modern.
      Wanted to ask: could you upload a video on Temur Squirrel Opposition? That deck is gas!

    • @IPlayMagic
      @IPlayMagic  Před 2 lety

      Yeah I will do a video about squirrel opposition at some point. Ive been asked for it a lot and now im working from home for a few weeks I should have time to do it

      Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoy the videos. Yes I can! I have been getting a lot of requests lately but as I am working from home for the next 2 months I should have time to do it over the next few weeks

    Hey, can you do a breakdown of the Lightning Rift decks?

    • @IPlayMagic
      @IPlayMagic  Před 2 lety

      100% YES! I love those decks and plan to do at least 2 different videos on those. I already have one video in the works but the guy who gave me the list is in the elimination rounds of the monthly tournament so im waiting until it's over to post the video as he was nice enough to give me the list so I don't want to tell his opponents exactly what he's playing and how to beat it.

      @@IPlayMagic Ooh nice! I assume at least one of those decks is going to be the classic Lightning Rift/Astral Slide?

      It can be good in the right meta but it's very bad against decks like dreadnought that are fast and have disruption
