Ford's Autolite 4100, 4 Barrel Carburetor

FoMoCo designed the Autolite 4100, 4 Barrel Carburetor in the mid to late 50's along with Holley.
it features vacuum secondary's, Annular discharge nozzles in the venturies .
Holley introduced its own version as the 4160 line of carburetors.

Vacuum secondaries will only open under full throttle and near zero manifold vacuum. This summer I will try and set up a camera under the hood and try to get a video of the vacuum secondaries open.
