Great to hear!
Hey where i can Dm you@@MikesCarburetor
Thank you. I appreciate your time. 👍
My pleasure!
Most of The factory carburetor are junk the throttle shafts are worn and lots of the rebuiders don't have good integrity and they try to rebuild junk cores!! Just go aftermarket like Edelbrock or Holley or even fuel injection!!!
Worn throttle shafts? That's what bushings are for.
Installing bushings is easier said than done it takes a special person with special tools who knows what they are doing to be successful because if the bushings are not properly installed you will get a vacuum leak that Will not let you set proper idle but if you have the proper tools and possess the right skills then its no problem! The problem is that most carburetor rebuilders don't possess the special custom reamers and bushings and tools to properly rebuild base plates because I have bought rebuilt carburetor and have had little success.
@@juliotorres512 I just bought the custom drill bit to put bushings in a quadrajet for $70 and it came with bushings and screws to do 2 carburetors. I do believe the rebuilt carburetors you purchased didn't live up to expectations!
