- Hey guys!! I was thinking about posting other TXT videos on my channel, but I realized that you guys had never seen my Patreon videos for BTS/TXT together. These are my first REAL introduction videos to BTS's little brothers, TXT or Tomorrow x Together!
So, here is how it happened. One of my Patrons, Ashley, first requested I watch don't put bts & txt in the same room the sequel b/c she liked that one more. Which was totally fine with me! Then, the next month, my amazing Patron, Kaitlyn, requested I watch the original video! That made it a little weird to post on here, so I figured I would still keep the order chronological so it made sense! :P

Jimin called TXT members "the babies" on one of his livestreams (he found a notebook that belonged to Yeonjun, the oldest) so when we call the kids "BTS's baby brothers" we are not so far away from their sentiment.

you see soobin looks grumpy but he’s probably fanboying... he’s a bts fan and jin biased, he said it on their debut showcase 😭😭 also he’s very shy
for reference. BTS was on tour in the US, and TXT was doing a showcase in the US at the same time. Their schedules overlapped in Chicago and that is where they were able to meet backstage at the LY tour. This was aired as part of TXT's reality show One Dream.
Basically, TXT debuted last year under the same label as BTS. They are literally like the lil brothers of BTS. Usually the members of BTS also treat them like family and Jimin even calls them babies 🥺💜☺️. They are adorable too.
Ok so a little bit about TXT. They debuted in 2019,and they are the only group apart from bts under bighit. It took almost 6 years for bighit to debut this new group so the expectations were high for the babies, fortunately they were received pretty well.
Their debut concept was actually pretty cool and they have their own TXT Universe (just like bts has the Bangtan Universe) which honestly is so captivating.
The members are all in between the ages of 18 to 21. They are extremely talented and honestly in this video there crackheadness is on the lowest level bc they are with their idols lol.
In the first part, what was happening was a "music show". They are common in kpop in which every week they hold a "contest" of popularity for the groups or soloists that release music. These periods of time where the idols appear on music shows are called promotions and normally they last about 2 to 3 weeks (you can correct me if I'm wro ng pls) and in these shows they basically put up the songs that are in promotion and depending on the stream, etc the song that has the most popularity wins. BWL was the most popular song when it was in promotion so that's why they kept winning.

Bts and txt are like the two best friends in a classroom trying so hard to act chill and behaved because they’re afraid to be scolded by the teacher (bighit). But then their chaotic energy shines through anyway and all hell breaks loose

At the time of the video they just debuted and they weren’t as close to BTS yet so they were awkward but now they are closer and it’s so adorable🥺

these are weekly music shows and the ones who are number one wins, so basically BTS had 21 wins for Boy with luv (even after they stoped attending they kept winning and everyone just stands there and watches them collect the Awards lol)
so when a new song drops they promote it on those Shows with performances and after they win the do an encore where they just celebrate the win
TXT were fans of BTS as trainees and Yeonjun -the oldest member born in 1999- is even so close to Namjoon that he calls him "hyung" -big bro- . BTS also hold a lot of respect and supports them a lot. some say because BTS have been treated like shit back in the days when they debuted so they don't want their younger group to feel the same. TXT debuted back in 2019 and have 3 albums and such interesting story line YOU WILL LOVE THEM
yes, txt has some bomb music too! I personally love their title tracks: Crown (their debut song), Run Away and their newest one Can't You See Me. Also 20cm (a b-side) is an r&b piece of perfection. Love your videos Landon!
This was when bts were promoting boy with love and txt were promoting their debut song crown so most of this happened literally txt’s like 1st month of being idols. I feel like these videos exaggerated everything too much but txt and bts are really close this was just their first time being around so many people so they were nervous and awkward.

About the guys doing crazy stuff on stage... Sometimes bands offer a pledge for their fans to encourage them to help them get the "first place" on one of the music shows. So if they win, they sing their song as a trot song, or make a crazy choreo or wear house slippers or whatever.
The one you asked about is Taehyun (my fave), the one who danced to BWL and looked scared sometimes. He's got a great voice and is kind of both the athlete and the nerd of the group (he's the one you need on game night).
They are all triple threats: they're great dancers and singers and they all can rap. As a matter of preference, I think Taehyun and Hueningkai (the younger, the one that was Hobi's "disciple") pop up more as singers and Yeonjun (the one with bluish hair here, and the oldest) is at a bit higher level as rapper and dancer.

Is that the one with Lee Hyun too? Do you know about Lee Hyun, Landon? He's BTS Hyung like BTS are TXT's hyungs. He was in the first video/sequel. I know nothing about him or his music except that he's with Big Hit too and older than everyone else. The video of the photo shoot is precious. TXTwas so nervous. I haven't listened to anything of theirs yet because I literally don't have time for anyone but BTS right now. I just got started really listening to them over quarantine and the amount of content is kind of overwhelming.

And Lee Hyun has a beautiful voice. He did one of the songs on the BTS World game soundtrack, and his own music is really great. He's been around for a while, with his own success & I think he was among the idols that BigHit started with. I enjoy his music, but I think my favorite is his cover of Spring Day.

I guess the easiest way to explain things is that most companies have multiple groups and soloists under their management so they often interact with each other and have an almost sibling like relationship between different groups. Big Hit on the other hand has only really had BTS and Lee Hyun (he’s a soloist with some great songs, we stan). Lee Hyun is older than BTS so they treat him like an older brother and they’ve always been the youngsters of the company. Now with TXT having debuted and being under BigHit, BTS are now like the older brothers but they don’t really know how to do that so they kind of come off as shy and awkward with TXT. And TXT come off as shy and awkward because their “big brothers” are BTS and we all know how famous BTS is so they are a little starstruck as well. Basically it’s two siblings trying to figure out how to communicate and act with each other but like in the cutest most awkward way possible.
I forgot to mention they really do cheer each other on.

not sure anyone has explained the music show format for you yet. But music shows, while they do give out awards, they happen every day of the week, so these shows are small and only have about 150-200 audience size. Music shows are part of the promotional cycle that all kpop idols take part of. They promote nearly every night of the week, and at the end of each show, there are awards for the top ranked songs (each show has a different ranking system). These awards do offer a sort of prestige and opportunities for the groups, but they are not like an end of year awards show award. Since it's a TV show, the encore stages are a bit more relaxed and they can spend time doing silly things with the fans.
TXT are the cutest, they're so talented and they really look up to the boys. They treat them like babies too, I love their dynamic, even tho both groups are low-key awkward 😂😂

I think they're trying to break them out of their shells, like they did with eachother over the years. BTS are their teachers in a way and it'll be cute to see them become more comfortable with eachother. TXT are already crackheads with great personalities - they just kind of turn into puddles of mush around BTS. 😊
24:50 min, so it's a music show, in korea they have music shows on weekends for several channels, and there will be winners depends on physical, digital sales and voting, so when an artist have a comeback or new song they preform and promote on these shows on the weekend for couple of weeks and who have the highest score wins.

❤️FUN FACTS: BTS did do all these crazy antics since the very first comeback weekly award show they won in 2015 when they won their first award for "I Need U" and put lipstick on before performing the encore of the song after winning their very first award! The channel xCeleste has several compilations of these encore performances at these award shows! But you can look the so many up individually or other compilations as well!! BTS are absolutely hilarious!! They always come up with something equally hilarious to do while performing the encore!! In South Korea. there are weekly award shows from all the many tv network broadcasts that televise the performances & then awards awards for all the idols new comeback songs they just released!! Whenever a comeback song and album are released idols are go on these shows back to back for about two weeks! Performing and then being voted on to see who won for best song, that week. It's quite grueling because they have to be at these tv stations from early in the morning to Kate at night, rehearsing and apmarking where they'll be so cameras can film them them perfectly, then practicing with the live audience until all moves are perfected before the actual performance, some parts are still live but prerecorded! There are quite a few idol performers performing, so they usually have to wait in the waiting rooms for long periods! This is the very reason why each group know other idol groups choreography & songs so well. Because there are tv monitors broadcasting the performances!! So not only BTS know other boy & girl idols groups dance moves & songs!!

By the way, the stage parts you saw: lemme explain.
Those are "encore stages". The way we know of them, essentially. Basically, on Korean music shows, they do this thing... every week?... Where they announce the winner(it's either chart topper or by voting). By this point, they've typically already aired the TV performance from the artist. In this case, BTS had already properly performed Boy With Luv. But at the end, the winner was announced - BTS - and they, the winners, get a chance to do an encore for the TV audience. So bts have traditionally made encore stages their bitch, and by that, I mean they have a lot of fun and it's hilarious and goofy every single time. Vocalists and rappers switch parts, changed up choreo, being silly... It's fun
But don't worry, this is _after_ a proper performance

SVT are known close friends of BTS and GFriend and Bangtan go waaaaaay back. I'm not personally aware of any Nu'est x BTS friendships but we might soon if we get new family portraits. I only really stan BTS but I support TXT a lot bc first of all Jimin calls them "the babies" and the boys ask us to support them all the time so how can we not. But really on top of that, they are so so so talented. I think they're the best team of dancers in the game right now and their discography is so experimental. Plus the way their delivering their story (the TU) is genius. I've been referring to what they do as pop-theatre because there's so much art in the visual story-telling that you really can't discount that and still have a good grasp of who they are and what they do. Long story short, I started stanning bc they're BTS' little bros. But I've become a fan of them in their own right because they've managed to shine despite the shadow they're under and they are already at such a high caliber that I feel their potential is endless. They're still learning how to be comfortable and I think that's their biggest weakness but they grow by leaps and bounds every comeback and they've been a joy to watch. And they're good, funny, talented kids. One of them ("Hobi's disciple") is American too which isn't really important but since I'm from the US, I think it's kinda cool. :)
You gotta react to TXT, they are amazing rookies who don't seem rookies. So during BWL promotions, BWL kept winning for so long, they racked in i think 19, 20 or 21 (excuse me i dont remember by the end, when the wins were slowly petering out) music show wins with BWL so other idols present during those shows after a time started getting lowkey annoyed expressions, the non-army fans in the audience were getting annoyed, and kpop stans on twitter got REALLY mad and were mad at bwl for the rest of the year, until their annoyance reached the peak when BWL also won best song of the year grand prize awards during big end-of-year award shows :'D and it was very enjoyable to me, as an army.
Ok so just to explain to you since you seemed a little bit confused in the last video. These are not award shows like MMA or MAMA, these are weekly music shows in which groups or soloists go to promote their recent releases, they perform and in the end of the show the 2-3 artists that did the best in the week (each show has its own rules for calculating winners) stand in the front and the MCs announces who got the first place (the ones in the back are just other idols that performed their song during that specific episode). The group or soloist that got first place wins a trophy and perform an encore stage of their winning song, the idols get to do whatever they want during the encore stage, they can perform the song seriously, do challenges, thank the fans or just goof around like the boys were doing in this video hehe.

Each week there are 4 main music shows where groups/solos go and promote their song and each show someone wins (which is why during comebacks its chaos and stressful aha). Im pretty sure they got 23 wins with boy with luv which means a lot of encore stages and thank you speeches, so understandably the enthusiasm dipped after time aha

I see most of ur questions where answered for the most part, bts treats txt like little brothers, Bighit has a Soloist name Lee Hyun that is older then BTS( the guy Jimin was laying in the sofa with) so they where happy to have another group, Jin even asked fans to support them before they debuted, and they’ve shown lots of support all the time, and Txt looks up to Bts they’re pretty young 18-21(international age) so to them bts are their seniors so they behave awkwardly during this type of situations at first,(this videos where from when they first debuted)now they feel more comfortable with them, they even had Tae join them in one of their v-lives, you should check them out, they are crazy cute ( for reals cute & crazy they learn from the best I guess) they even have their own show called To Do like Run Bts, but instead of being good at everything like their older brothers they pretty much are bad at games and then give puppy eyes to the staff for more chances and easier rules to let them win lol 😂 my MOARMY heart is filled with cuteness every Monday morning!

Both TXT and BTS have such original concepts behind each of their discography, I hope you start to react to them too.
If you do (it would be cool, but you don't have to) You should start directly with their debut, since they only started almost about 2 years ago. So, start with Crown.

There are different music shows in korea so when a korean artist releases a song (it's usually mainly kpop artists but I think others can participate, not sure tho) they will promote the new song by performing on the various shows everyday and at the end of that ep they pick a winner. The winner is determined by different criteria depending on the show but it usually consists of streams, pre-show votes, sales and also social media ( I don't really know what is counted here tbh). Boy With Luv currently holds the record for the most music show wins (21). Usually if you perform you get an added bonus points but if the song is big enough in each category you don't really have to perform and you can still win.

So these are weekly music chart shows from different tv stations that run from Wednesday to Sunday I think a bit like TRL or top of the pops
Idols go on the shows to promote their new releases for a bunch of weeks
we call this the promotion cycle,
the big ones are KBS Music Bank, Showchanpion, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo.
it's a tradition that senors have their company juniors sing with them during their encore and during encore bands usually prepare a fun version of the track and perform differently than the real full show performance hence why you see them being goofy,
for example, that encore was supposed to be done musical style lol, sometimes the vocal line swaps roles with the rap line during the encore

the people in the background are other groups who were preforming that night and at the end they announce who will win an award so all of the other groups gather on the stage to wait for the announcement of the winner and it depends on who will win.
