Great video, thank you! Helps to have someone around to do the heavy lifting. You didn't even break a sweat!
Thanks Dexter, good stuff. There needs to be more videos on the internet like this! 👍
Bought this exact setup from you guys.. looking forward to future videos. Hoping I can expand the system to two inverters and another 3 eg4 indoor wall mount batteries to finish out the system as cash comes in.
I'm impressed, normally I'm not a fan of all-in-one units but this one is quite nice.
Excellent video. And awesome looking unit.
Congrats Dexter you do an excellent job.
nice. great info and good training. thanks
Excellent start to the review series!
This looks nice. Curious on your thoughts . Run some load test etc.
Wish midnite solar would still film youtube videos. And show us their products . Many installers around USA i bet dont get to the new product shows
I thought the video was great. Well organized and well spoken and lots of right to the point features instead of "filler". I would like some clarity on the battery attachment to the inverter. You connected two 3/0 battery cables to a single stud. What is the inverter's maximum charge and discharge capacity since it only has a single stud while Sol-Ark 15K and 18kPV have two positive and two negative? Another question: Does Midnite only offer programming via the inverter screen or a phone screen? Many inverters are outdoors in California and the bright sunshine makes it very hard to clearly see these screens on an inverter or phone. Is there browser access from a PC? Does the app currently offer a full menu of TIME of USE controls by the 24 hours as well as by the individual days of the week? Is there generator support?
In my case, I would require 2 inverters and 4 batteries. That's a lot of exterior wall space. Is there an approved slab type setup yet?
Excellent video. Any chance you will do one for the EG4 6000XP. I have seen a few online but your attention to detail if great.
Yes, Excellent video
I really appreciate you for doing this
thank you
Excellent video, I have been waiting for this inverter.
Us both!
Very informative video, thank you. Is it possible to find out if this unit is built/assembled in the U.S like other Midnite products?
@6:26 Fancy hammer you got there.
Dexter was waiting to see if anyone would catch that! That drill has survived a drop off a 12ft ladder and still works.
Every tool is a hammer
I looked on the site and you have 24v lifepower server battery. Do you ship to Canada ?
What is the distance from the floor to the centerline of the screen?
It's right at 69 1/2" to the center of the screen.
@@CurrentConnected Screen height keeps going higher. No bueno for us short people... 😏
I'm thinking manufacturers need to rethink where they put the screen or use a remote screen that can be mounted at the desired eye height.
@@enwinn most of the important info is on the mobile app- most would not use the screen
@@CurrentConnected Yeah, I get that. You ever run a headless computer and the KVM or Remote connection broke and something has gone wrong on that computer?
I really like what I am seeing so far in this inverter but standing on my tip toes or craning my head back is gonna be annoying. 😂
