New Tie Rod from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASTE00232
This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla. The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms.
This repair was done on a 2008 Toyota Corolla S 1.8L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2003 Toyota Corolla
2004 Toyota Corolla
2005 Toyota Corolla
2006 Toyota Corolla
2007 Toyota Corolla
2008 Toyota Corolla

I’m glad I came across this video, I’ve been having these clunking noises for well over 2 years, No mechanic was able to figure it out but i happened to see another CZcams video that it was a clunking inner tie rod noise so I just watched this video as it was a more detailed DIY, for future reference. Please use PB blaster on rusted bolts. it’s painful to watch you remove those nuts and take the chance of stripping and rounding it out, that PB blaster will save you the headache!
+@Eurospec73 Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
