    how did you figure out what measurements to cut the wood at? was it based on the size of the monk's cloth, based on sizes of rugs you will be making, or just personal preference?

      No. That frame is good for years to come. You just pull it off the frame. You can modify it to be shorter as well just by adding an extra block of wood to the center when you want to make smaller projects. It's very versatile
