At least more than what any other "attemptee"(? -er?) might receive. Mr. Torkova seemed perfectly satisfied with his performance and P&T's response and I'm happy for him. Like not taking jobs that involve a lot of talking, barely talking on the phone, dating, etc. I've gotten a bit better with it over the years but it's still there. Guys, girls, hear me out. It was a classic trick. That means there was not so much high tech involved at all. Which indicates that he actually hired some tiny tailor dolls that were activated by a spring or something. When he put the fabric inside the tube, the dolls started making the flag. This is why he had to put it in and show the steps so many times, because the dolls aren't that quick. Nowadays you have battery operated tailor dolls that work quicker, but he wanted to stay in his roots.

That was a fantastic performance. As Penn said, I also thought dropping the blue scarf was accidental, then the flag came out and WOW! Very enjoyable.

I've watched so many people on Penn and Teller, even though you didn't fool them you seem like such a kind soul I truly hope your career continues to be a success! You've got this very mild mannered demeanor that just makes me want to cheer for you even though I don't usually like classic magic the way you presented it was just.. happy and warm. :)

It reminds me the case of John Larkin, better known as Scatman. Also had this well known stutter condition, but as him you overcame it by doing amazing performances

Now this magic, is pure fun. Pantomime magic with comedy that is this well done and his entertaining for something so old school and classic really shows how much work and how much fun the magician has with act. Truly worth of the stage and the craft.

Yeah, the real magic is what a stage does to insecurities. It's inexplicable how being someone else on a stage can truly help you be yourself, but it is always beautiful to see. And that is one heck of an infectious cutesy smile, Bobby.

Beautifil act, feels like an antique from the beginnings of Magic, truly Classic.
I enjoy classics a lot More than More complex tricks.

This is what I love about the show, you absolutely don’t need to fool them to put on an amazing act. The fool is really just a bonus, we all got to see an amazing show from a spectacular magician we might not otherwise have gotten to see. Bravo! 🙌

Yeah, there are no losers here. The audience gets an amazing show one way or the other, and P&T get to see a tried & true trick they know in & out done *exceptionally* well, or they get to see something done equally well that they can't quite figure out. It's a perfect system, and the magician is either a well-respected performer prior to the show, or an up-and-comer who gets a priceless amount of free publicity and eyes on them that have lead to *many* successful gigs and even careers. And, as icing on the cake, the magicians get to put up their performance on CZcams after it airs, no ifs' and or buts'.
Everyone gets to look good. It's a truly wonderful set up.

I love this guy. I love a good classic routing performed flawlessly. Beautiful job, and a really loveable character, too. Definitely captured the Charlie Chaplin vibe of the lovable tramp. That's what I love about Fool Us. Penn and Teller showcase such a wide variety of magic acts. I may not have had the chance to see an act like this if not for this show, and I'm so, so glad that I did.
