Much more magic coming this way.
Hey awesome performance. I'm from Perth WA! Beautiful combination of two timeless arts - painting and magic. Putting Perth on the map
Your accent is so odd, I love it. Canadian, French Canadian, with that Aussie up front, and you can hear the French in certain words. Its so unique. I think I'm jealous, I love accents.
how did you do it? Tell us
Pierre I must knowwwwww, pls

I think once a year, I go down the Fool Us rabbit hole because it's just so entertaining. I re-watch my favorite performances and discover new ones each time and add them to the list. Thanks for being so entertaining!
I was watching them as well this time last year, comes up in my reccomenedations and I just have to watch them
I think you guys are on to something.
I was here about this time last year too. It’s pretty good stuff. Thanks algorithm.
Me too.
Usually around Christmas time with looking for simple card tricks, YT suggests Penn and Teller and I end up watching dozens of their vids.
You are not alone. This stuff is even more rad if you watch it totally stoned. It makes me laugh a lot :)
Same.
I swear I can hear all 3 accents in his voice! lol
I don’t think I’ve ever heard an accent quite like it!🤔

Who cares?
I heard more than one accent as well.

I think I know how this is done????? It's really cool

That dude with the purple maroon shirt is one lucky guy, this is the second time I see him get chosen from the audience and he always sits at the same place.
What episode?
@@ryanduksa5202 it's called "Will Ondrej fool Penn & Teller a third time?"

1:26 watch under his shoe :)
and ?
That thing under his shoe is connect with the glasses. So went he step on the card the machine send the picture to the glasses
Notice that his drawn shape is a mirror image of what Penn drew - as if viewed *through* a sheet of paper/from the other side.
@@leaveonlywake it is some kind og gimmick yes, those glasses are weird as hell
he and something that showed him the picture on his boot he did not vary good I got him easiest one to figure out

yeah I caught the foot as well.
excellent !!!
Your effect was wonderful .😊😊👍👍
Amazing one 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It's contagious. Now when I watch any magic trick I can't help but try to figure out how is it done. )
I still don't know how he did it, but I knew right away when seeing him step on Penns drawing that it's how hes gonna know what it is. Excellent trick.
camera on foot, relayed to the sunglasses. They were more than a fashion statement~
@@TheDigitalThreat Yeah, him wearing those dark sunglasses indoors made me go huh, and then stepping on it as a signal for what to do, Bam!
@@TheDigitalThreat What's weird is he's wearing the same shoes as Penn

@@MrRydoone I forgot about the putty in the eyes and for a moment was stumped on that aspect as I initially assumed lcd screen in eye mask (in the two weeks since I watched the clip i forgot that part) about a minute after browsing through the comments here and seeing multiple people point out the audience guy was picked for another act once before pretty much answers that question. They may claim to not use stooges but its TV... TV personalities and Magicians are not best known for being "truthful" in their deceit, and TV Personality magicians - well take a guess lol
Wow! Thank you.
I think the image is transferred to the bottom of his foot from whatever is in the marker. While Teller is putting the coins in the putty, he goes over and "prepares" the canvas. He puts the canvas up on the table. But why wasn't it in place to begin with? I think in that time, he looks down, raises the foot enough for a mirror under the foot to reflect the image from the bottom of his shoe, perhaps to another mirror that he can easily see. (Practice makes perfect!) Now, it doesn't matter how blindfolded he is. He has the answer.
That makes sense, but how do you think he drew the audience member?
@@benjaminseelig8675 he somehow gets a glance when the smoke starts coming out from under the hood. You can see him lift his chin and hold his head back. I think the smoke is more than just a fun effect.
The glasses he used earlier have mirrors in to show the floor

Love your stage presence! Great act as well, you fooled me for sure!
Subbed! Thank you for sharing your magic! This was a lot of fun to watch.
Yeah, trick glasses, can tell as soon as he took them off when he brought Teller up.
It is not in the typical way, but P&T always call out a magician for turning their back to the audience. Trickery afoot!
That was a good one!
Hi Pierre! Been binging Fool Us episodes for many years now and it was an absolute joy watching your act. From a fellow Perthian :)
Thanks so much Patrick!!! Appreciate this feedback so much! Hit me up if you ever want to catch some live magic events in the city!

Not that that's a bad thing. You sir have a unique and captivating voice.
Cool trick. Also such an interesting mix of accents
Even though Pierre did not fool P&T, that was an amazing piece of showmanship. Certainly had me fooled. But then again, I'm just a mere mortal!

Watch 1:26 at slow speed
And you will figure it out
He has kind of a scanner under his shoes
what if penn would of put it face down?
Then the glasses right? I agree
@@floggyWM1
He then can see it with his eyes 😂
@@socoolfanpage yeah I would think so
i watched it at normal speed and figure it out 1st time through. The move was trying tto hard and became a spotlight due to that
That was actually a really good portrait for being blindfolded, everything seems to be in proportion.
Oh yeah, those goggles did not seem fishy at all.
I usually am able to pick up on the code but that was tough.
some kind of a camera on his shoes maybe
It's not really a code... he said it, blindfold isnt legit.. and you have eyes at the bottom of your feet. Otherwise, he would just let Penn place it down and step on the paper himself. Instead he told Penn to place it down, he stepped on it first with his sneakers then told Penn to step on it... Why would he step on it first? if that is legit, he wouldnt have done that
I think he switched the card when he stepped on it and switched it right back the moment the guy from the audience gave the replacement to him.
@@ForboJack nah it was probably a camera and that's why he needed those glasses at the beginning
@@u3u_o3o maybe angled mirrors. Those glasses were really small, so he could see around him but also see directly down. Stepping on the card guide him to look at his shoe and capture the drawing as he remove his foot.
"take this brother may is serve you well" is a reference to Revolution 9 on The Beatles White Album.
It's also a pretty generic phrase lol
@@MrRickles2pointO right so... no it isn’t. Any 8 word sequence/sentence is likely to be unique or a direct quote. Its how they detect plagiarism. If this is a well known phrase it is because it has come from this song.
Great act!
I knew it too, the foot and the weird glasses. I knew there was something fishy going on with them spectacles.
When you mentioned the disgruntled worker character i immediately thought of Michael Douglas in Falling Down!!
bravo pour ton honnêteté 9:07 👍
They have to show their tricks to producer beforehand so that they can't lie. So it's obvious there was no reason to lie
I love these clips. All these magicians are incredible.
Just a side note Alysson Hannigan is stunning and Penn and Teller are great.
I believe he used a chemical in his pen's ink and/or business cards' paper to transfer Penn's drawn image to the floor ( his foot pressure ). His spectacles being the device that could see the chemical image after he swiped his foot forward to teturn the card to Penn. Surprised they didn't catch that.
They catched that but they never reveal the trick of fellow magician on stage or on live.
That's way to elaborate lol the glasses just had mirrors in so he could see the floor while looking straight ahead.
This makes me feel weird because ive seen this same volunteer on this show with a different name :p (in a clip i watched about 5 minutes ago)
I noticed that, the same volunteer appeared in the video on Ondrej's third appearance. I don't believe the volunteers name was mentioned in that video so based on what you're saying he appeared more than just twice. I can't chalk that up to coincidence. I think it's doubly weird because this is a show based on noticing the little things, so why would the producers make such a blatant mistake? That makes the show lose a lot of credibility in my eyes, however I do still find it entertaining nonetheless.
@@lbookstaff123 this is tv. Most of the season is shot within a few days and almost always feature the same audience members. This is so editors can chop it up in the best way to make money. Producers play a large role in who gets "randomly picked" most of the time it isn't random at all. Most of the time tricks aren't done in one take either. Some tricks have multiple resets to get the shot right. You have to remember this isn't just some YT video, this goes on national television, and there's a lot going on behind the audience. Rarely are audience members actually selected randomly and you can see the same ones across multiple seasons because of how they edit down the episodes.
@@4547466 Yeah I definitely understand that, but I would think the producers would at least make it seem like they were randomly selected. It just ruins the experience for me personally.
They probably have a few designated volunteers who aren't really in on the tricks, but have just been instructed to cooperate with the performers. Because if they picked someone truly randomly, there was a possibility that the person could be a heckler who wouldn't follow instructions properly and possibly ruin the trick. I suppose it just makes it a more controlled environment for the magicians to perform in, and maybe saves time too
I just noticed the guy that was chosen from the audience was also chosen for a different magic trick from another episode. That guy must have crazy luck!
DUDE, I just posted about that too haha!
You're also the 4th person posting that, about three months later. Either your observation skills need work, or you need to type faster.

I love that watching these the magician gets my view penn and teller have enough money
Nice trick
Okay, so I’ve been binge watching these, and this audience member appears in SO MANY OF THESE. I’m up to 6 now, with him being in 2 of the acts, and other times the camera just catches him. It’s so puzzling.
They piece together different performances from different real life shows for TV to make it so there is 1 fooler every episode.
I was in the grade 9 class from manji senior high school today and I just wanna say you fooled me
Hi Immhyjay Game - Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes, I has such a great time performing at your school yesterday! You were a great bunch. Enjoy the vacations!
There are two significant things here which cannot exist for no special reason:
1 the wearing of the glasses
2 his shoe on the card
Now all I have to do is connect them somehow….
I think his shoe has a heat seeking gadget that sends it to his glasses and gives him a
brief glimpse of what was drawn. His hand drawn pic of this guy is pretty vague by itself.
The pen had a special ink which got embossed on the floor when he pressed on it. That making in the floor could only be seen through the special glasses he was wearing.

the same guy from the audience
Imagine being able to see the world through the glasses he wore ....

the foot movement and glasses
6:08 nice acting removing that tape sir. 😅

"Penn, you've got an image in your ey... euh mind"
The real magic here is watching this in 2024 and seeing the wonderful Alyson again.
The guy looks just like Arwin from The suite life of Zack and Cody
I miss that series. Their attempt to resume the series by suite life on deck was not good. The original series was the best!
The ol' feet eyes maneuver
True. The trick was done when he placed his shoe on the card coz there was no need to do so.
i think there's a camera on the bottom of his shoe... and it shows the image on his glasses that he wore in the beginning
It's been 7 seasons of fool us and people still think the audience is in on it.
Only reason I would think anybody could think that for this act is because the dude that Penn gave the card for this act kinda looks like that dude Olejandro P.’s third act.
@@awolcorndog1692 yeah that's cos it's the same guy for sure. A little bit more weight maybe (sorry Eric) but, defo the same guy unless he happens to have a twin.

@@entropy7571 that’s a fair guess actually, allows them to have a well-behaved volunteer but, without assisting the act or Penn and Teller per se.
Can we not find a former employee of the show that will tell us?! 😂
Hood switch and magnetic ink being transferred to those weird glasses he wore, electronically. He knew when he stepped on the card.
Those are some really cool glasses
Agreed the glasses and magnetic ink, because he gave teller his own marker to use, and stepped on the card himself. But I think the hood switch was so he could create mystery smoke with a gimmicked hood.
Really cool trick. Don't know why he stepped on it blatantly instead of saying something like "step on it like this and hold perfectly still" just for a little extra diversion.
It would've been cool if he had a camera in the pen and still did the foot thing to misdirect.
I figured it out :D his glasses had mirrors on them so he didnt have to look down to see the card. His shoe picked the card up, he looked off the mirrors, and off yhe reflection of the floor
Wohh
That same person who was brought onto stage was also a person who was used to try and fool penn and teller from a previous show
swapped the hood but way too obvious :( woulda been such a cool effect. (what does switching the hood do? i have no idea) can't wait to see a flavor of this one cleaned up! so cool
totally forgot about the cardboard haha
he switches to the hood with a vape in it to make the smoke effect
I would say that is was a quite expensive trick
Funny, watching this at home, I closed my eyes and imaging exact same shape, only in my case I names it sleeping cat
I know for sure this was totally magic! The like button was clicked even before I watched it! Respect, and thank you!
A year later, and a rewatch was definitely worth it-till next year :P
I saw Eric in a previous episode and they picked him then too. Set up or what?
When a literal French Canadian man becomes an Aussie; what a beautiful accent sir. I’m American with British parents who are both dual citizens with the UK and Jamaica, and I just sound American. I feel ripped off😂
Yeah. It's a beautiful mixture of accent.
Penn said, "take this, brother, may it serve you well." Damn, a Revolution No. 9 reference.
I mean, someone can blindfold Penn and Teller, and then do the sleight of hand and stuff for the audience while they do the trick for the blind magicians. They can’t possibly guess the right tricks
Kinda defeats the purpose
Where can I pick up a pair of those shades
That guy whom Penn chose was the same guy from audience who selected the random card on Ondrej Pseniska's last appearance on PnT fool us.
Edit: I saw the same guy on Adam Wilber's and Stuart MacDonald's episodes too.
Who's had a different date at the time..
I was going to say they look remarkably similar to each other but are probably different people, but then I saw the girl sitting next to them both and it's the same girl. They're both more dolled up in the Ondrej performance... He's clean shaven and she's wearing more makeup and jewelry.
The Sammy Jenkins Experience good observation🖒 by you and Sagar both👍.
So i guess they do have 'plants' on the show.
As in rehearsing with known people before the final recording..
...even if those people aren't in..on the trick!
@@thesammyjenkinsexperience4996 Leonard you found John G. already
@@thesammyjenkinsexperience4996 It's similar to him, but this particular person was chosen at least once in another scene. If the "suspect" is not part of the trick and does not help the trick, he can be selected, just like Alyson.
I think I got most of the act. But I've got to consider myself fooled because I have no idea how he drew this audience member, I mean obviously he must have seen him. But I'm not sure how. And damn, fooled or not. What a great performance!
Haha, im the opposite of you. Nothing at all made sence on how he did it. But the mask im thinking is like a one way mirror. Worked for him, but flipped inside out, no good for teller
You fool me! Great trick. Loved it. -Tom
Love how this guy put his name at the end like if he was someone important or some shit.
Good it was bloody obvious, and yes pen this is the first time I saw the video. He did not fool anybody
He has a thin metal shim in the business card and uses it with a magnet in his shoe, lifting it up with his foot and casting the drawing's reflection onto the chrome mirror finish on the toe box of his other shoe. That's why he kicks it so hard toward Penn to have him step on it, because he has to kick it that hard to get the magnet to release the card. Crumpling the card was still easy because the metal used was about as thick and flexible as a piece of aluminum foil. The hood was also switched so he could see the spectator when he was creating the painting. Nice routine, but far from something that could even come close to fooling Penn & Teller.
Like switching the hood did anything. Dude had putty & coins over his eyes lol. I think he really couldn't see & the magnet shoe is also wrong. His shoe definitely had a huge roll in it & so did his glasses 🤓 Watch again you'll get it 👌
@@Tits_Money Im guessing some sort of special ink that leaked onto the floor that his glasses could pick up?
This guy is a shoe in!
So he could have used the sticky rubber of his shoe to slightly lift the card and see the reflection on the floor. And with him wearing the spectacles they cant see his eyes gaze and that would allow him to see the image on the card
I agree that the card under the shoe was the first part. It looked weird as it stuck to his shoe at first then he slid it over.
Nah, simply a scanner on his shoes and it was sent to him remotely. He knew the shape well before putting on all the blindfold stuff.
1:26 to see the scanner.
2:26 to see the scan take progress.
He awkwardly holds onto the card under his foot for a decent amount of time and totally obscured. Penn instantly knew the trick and you can tell based off of his reaction to that awkward moment.
8:32 - is that a camera lens on the bottom of his shoe?
looks like a little paint splatter to me
Looks like a piece of that confetti he created as the very first part of his trick
Not how it was done.
the floor is definitly way to reflective, for a magic show, never seen something like it in my life
Did anyone else think yin yang as well? I was floored when that was the answer… it has to be that there’s something he’s subconsciously implanting with his materials or something
Yeah, the same thing just happened to me. Out of 600k+ people that watched the video it's bound to happen but it still surprised me a lot xD
I don't think his goggles are just their for looks...
He sure fooled me.
Caught the foot also.
The coins and the clay are heavy and are taped on to his face but to be honest it’s more taped to his forehead . As he’s leans far forward over his canvas to draw/paint he can slightly see when the clay uses gravity to move away from his eyes and let him glimps downward through the bottom of the hood.
To see what Dow the card was doubled In The hand of the unknown guy he picked penn was taped befor penn picked him
@@liv4rt453 Huh?
And what does he see down there?
@@randomcontrol Possibly a mirror on the floor or inside of the table to see the unknown man's face and something on the shoe that copied the image? If that was his method.
Livart Oliver - what? Don’t understand what you’re saying dude...
at 8:32 is that not a giant camera lens or something?
After Penn placed the business card on the floor, was his drawing facing up or down?
i think it was face down but my his card wasnt normal paper and he could see through it, that would explain why penn had to use his card
He probably faced it down since his drawing was reverse
Pierre how the heck do you paint better and so quickly blindfolded, when i cant even do that with full vision
69th subscriber! I'm so proud!
The magic is that Teller pretends he can’t talk… And he manages to keep this up for every performance…
It's funny I used to think that but really there's no implication he CAN'T talk... you can clearly see him mouthing words, whispering to Penn, he even whispered the proposed solution to the contestant once. I think it's such a cool touch and shows a great amount of restraint by the guy.
not to mention the time they were on, what, Letterman? and they did some sort of body-control thing where he just outright spoke.
He did actually speak to me once after a show. He was tired and cranky. I understood so I let him off the hook.
3:30 watch. He switches the hoods.
yea but how can he saw through that dough thingy tho?
He did. But the coin has some problems.
@@hilozil he pull it down when he's under the hood,
he didn't. the hood was under the white board so he brought it to the top. that's it. even if he switched the hoods, how could he see through those things he put on his eyes? dumbass
The switch of the hoods was only for the smoke
Would’ve been sweet if he had a camera in his shoe/the pen that linked up to the glasses or something
well that is exactly it,even Pen said it.
Bob ross is proud of you.
Really wonder how its done
He switched out the mask when the camera jump cut to teller then back to him, he put it under the canvas (about at 3:28)
All these shoecam ideas are great, except if Penn had dropped the card on the floor with the image down which could just as well have happened. Had to be something that works with the paper either side up.
If you watch carefully, Penn never turned the card face down wheb he dropped it on the floor.
Even on the ground, the card was pictured up. Penn did only what he was told - to place the card on the ground. So he couldn't even accidentally place the card face down - he wasn't asked to do so. If something went wrong, the program would be interrupted immediately and part of it would be filmed again, and it would be connected in the editing studio, as has happened many times on this show.
@@ronthompson929 If you read carefully you'll notice I never said he did. I said he COULD have, which would have ruined the trick and I'm not sure anyone would go on the show with a big fat chance of messing it up like that.
@@HM--- oh shit the sleight of hand in your comment was impressive, but you didn't fool me.

The googles he wore at the beginning were special I think...
Probably the most unique accent I’ve ever heard
Why is person picked from the crowd the same as in the Ondrej episode (third time) of fool us?
Hi Monodynamix, yeah this was pointed to me and I checked... it is correct. I think they have a bank of reliable audience members that can come up and help. You'll just have to belive me when I tell you I didn't know who they would send up and it can be done with anyone at all... Honestly, it wouldn't be any fun if I painted someone who I already know.
Greetings fellow Perthican :D
Did that dude just get chosen twice at a fool us show?
I can swear I've seen him selected before, but sitting further up. He must be a big fan.
Agreed, he's definitely been there before
Yes, he was. Such "coincidences" can harm the magician, even if the chosen one had nothing to do with it.
Maybe fool us uses paid actors as to prevent random weirdos destroying the acts of the magicians
@@ImNotQualifiedToSayThisBut The audience is largely made up of magicians who, out of collegiality, would follow the magician's instructions exactly and would not want to trip the magician. But you are right that it is better to choose a reliable person...
