Palindromic switches don't matter. Brilliant!!! Well done 👏
Well, I am a musician and a magician like you and I really liked the concept of your trick. Very well presented, really entertaining to watch!
Really interesting act 😮 I have never seen such concept and I feel like I watched every episode of the show 😅
Absolutely amazing !
Having watched it for the second time, it's easy to see how it was done. The black and red bells are the same, but Ran only rings one of them when giving Alyson the 'choice' of which one to give to the first volunteer. Similarly with the purple and grey bells, then both the blue bells. The last two bells are forced, as regardless of what Alyson says, Ran knows which one he will give to each volunteer.
Alyson is given the option to swap the bells of volunteers 1 and 5, which have the same pitch bell, then the option to swap 2 and 4 also. These two also have bells of the same pitch.
It doesn't matter which 'end' of the line of volunteers starts, as the first five notes are palindromic.
The choice of song was also fixed. The Star Spangled Banner would have been on every page, with the song on the opposite page being so obscure that the volunteer wouldn't have picked it.
Having said that, it was well executed and enjoyable.
It makes sense, but that means he lied when he said that each bell has a different sound. I thought performers are not allowed to lie.
@@trollogy3435 Let's be serious, what any magician or mentalist says is 80-90% lies - that's how magic works:
- this is a perfectly normal deck of cards.
- nobody knows where your card is.
- I will now read your mind.
- there is no way to escape from this box.
- I cannot possibly know what you chose, right?
- the card/rabbit/photo/chicken has completely disappeared!
When a magician tells you this is an ordinary… it’s not. And they do it a lot on Penn&Teller as well.
I like that Ran Gafner liked K Wilsons explanation.
@Trollogy a unique sound is not the same as a unique frequency. So the sounds could very well be different while preserving the note...
Beautiful act!! Great job
Absolutely brilliant presentation! Thanks for the video.
Such a beautiful idea for a routine! 👍🏼❤️🔥🤩😊
Wow, this is amazing!
Well executed!
Blessings and Respect from Canada 🙏🍁✊🏽
EXTREMELY well done! 🙏💪👍🙂
Fantastic act!
I really liked this trick, nicely done.
So unique! Wow!
Such a smart and unique idea!
Unique concept i must say...
Absolutely Wonderful!
Very entertaining act.
Pretty impressive and original
Well....as a synaesthete, that caused me a bit of cognitive dissonance! 🙃 Even though my synaesthesia is about sound texture, not pitch, and is more complicated. I would have made a terrible volunteer! Your biggest trick for me would be getting me to comprehend how people just hear....that's it....without seeing anything other than memories, or imagined images. 🤔 That the majority of people just hear....that just blows my mind. I can't imagine sound by itself. How do you do that???
מקווה לראות אותך מצליח כאן בהזדמנות
Crazy!!! Great great act 🏆
what was the word pen tells him at the end? a..qui...voke..?
"Equivoque" meaning equal. In fact, etymologically speaking, it means "the same voice", which is even more appropriate.
Spoiler for the trick :
He was hinting at the fact that the bells he offered to switch all had the same sound and their arrangement is symmetrical sp the song sounds the same when played from both directions, so Allyson's choices didn't matter.
Alyson really looked at that hand...
Can't seem to unpicture her from Lily Aldrin
Tapping jazz on a superstrat? You are making enemies in the jazz purists camp!
Not blond and blue eyed. Nice
What?
I lost interest half way through. Far too long winded, which really turns me off in a conjurer.
@Zeitgeist971 I know what you mean. The idea of the trick is very good, but I'd like to see him having more fun in the performance and speeding up some parts.
The end of Israel seems to be very near.
All the love to the Palestinians
