I thought I’d take you on a little walk and talk about some new patterns I have bought lately and a couple of new makes. And hey - I just reached 1000 subscribers. Yay! :)

Hi Karen Marie - whenever I find a project that I’m nervous to start or I think is too complicated or difficult I look to see if there are any reviews or sew alongs. Seeing someone else who has succeeded is very motivating. 😊

It is really because you are lovely to spend time with…for me, it’s like dropping by for coffee…life goes on…a no life is too short to be critical of my friends ( virtual or otherwise….and even if we never meet in person. Karen Marie - Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! I discovered you during Vlogmas and have enjoyed every video. Don't listen to rumors or try to change the way you are - as you said 'we are who we are'. I think you have the right attitude. I, too, love when you take us for walks and wish i could do the same.
Goodness, some people clearly have nothing better to do than tear other people down. Your videos are absolutely delightful and it only adds to your natural , engaging personality if you occasionally "um" or "ah". Certainly don't let negative nellies affect you. I'm fascinated by how many people are making or want to make the Pogonip! As it is mid summer where I live (and averaging temperatures around 30` Celsius - completely opposite to your weather 😄 its not a pattern that I have considered at this stage.

Please don't take any notice of negative comments... it's inevitable on these open platforms as there are some sad people who get their kicks from it. Like you say.. they don't have to watch...The majority of people are genuinely interested and love you for what you do. Your English language is impeccable by the way 👌. Looking forward to when you get your sew Jo back... I feel like that at the moment too... think it's just the January blues 😏. Oh, and I love our walks in the snow with you 🌨️😁🥰
So sad people are so critical, I love you tube because the presentation is natural and unscripted. As you say if you font like don't watch. Really enjoy your blogs. I love the hathor, I have made several and have also changed slightly to have a v neck. I also have the nest and regalia. I really want to make them up soon.

Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscribers. I'm glad you mentioned the Community Tab. I only have around 700 hundred subscribers and didn't realize I had access to the Community Tab either. Also, I agree with you regarding the people out there who are critical of other CZcamsrs. If they don't like it, they don't have to watch. As for me, I'm enjoying your channel a lot. I'm jealous of the snow. 😅 I love snow and haven't had any yet. Keep up the good work. ❤

Congratulations on 1,000 subscribers. When will people learn to just scroll on or unsubscribe if someone does something they think is annulling? I enjoy your outdoor walks and seeing an environment different from my own. You're doing great! Your vlogs arena of the ones I look forward to the most.X
Hi Karen Marie, It is sad to hear that there are so many negative comments being circulated. The majority of viewers appreciate the time & effort you all put into creating these videos. No one is perfect & as you said, if someone is annoyed or irritated by a particular individual, they dont need to watch. Personally, I love your videos, the sewing content, walks & glimpses of family life. You don't need to change a thing x

I welcome constructive feedback from people who actually watch my videos and are invested in *helping* me. I think the post you’re talking about was intended to be helpful, but it really just turned into people complaining. There’s no way to please everyone! I’m with you- if something bothers someone, then not watching is always an option, and that’s totally okay.

I also welcome feedback when it is something I can actually fix, like issues with sound or not mentioning subscribers etc. I am more concerened about people being just critical about the way people speak, their accents or voises. So when Kate addressed this in her video, I felt really sad. I guess the recent episodes of bullying on some sewing channels (not mine yet) also felt like a reminder to talk about it. From what I heard, I think you are right, that the intention was to be constructive, but I wish the question asked had been turned the other way so that people could express what they really like. That also helps us improve. 😊
Congratulations on 1K🎉🎉🎊🎊. I can’t believe how some people can be so rude and critical, nobody is obligating them to watch. Please don’t listen to any of this craziness. You’re doing very well in your channel and we like I just the way you do it (1000 subs says something🙌🏻🙌🏻). I know the post you are talking about, I was surprised the youtuber encouraged those comments. Don't read it, like you say people can scroll on if they don't like us. We are who we are and we try our best ❤ To make you feel better, there were also some comments defending youtubers 😊
Thank you so much! ❤️ Yes, as Erin said, the intention was probably good, and I am always interested in constructive feedback, but I just know that some of the things people say irritate them are things I am not able to change and then it just becomes an obstacle to making videos.
@@madebykarenmarie the comments were about pets, waving, not looking at the camera...things like that. Don't worry about it, your videos are lovely 😊
