I haven’t had a 2008+ BMW for over 3 years now (had a 2009 135i and 2011 M3) and I still get anxiety whenever I hear that damn ‘dong’ sound in a video..
I shit my pants everytime my washer fluid is out because i'm scared its something bad😂 but i use the rolls royce sound for a few months now and its a little smoother scare😂

Enjoyed this thanks! Sold my Canadian spec AW 1M earlier this year. Very nice mods on this one. I also had AP Racing brakes all around (it needs it). The short time I had mine I quickly tired of maintenance and limp mode. Limp mode once on track for low fuel, twice at autox shifting into first. Once in MDM and once no traction on. I like the 1M in stock form for street fun.

1M is an epic BMW and the closest to the original E30 M3 that they have released to date.
Lots more tire on this than stock or even for an M4. Car seems very smooth and easy to drive.
I just got a 1M with similar tire size. It's hard to drive the car this smooth. Lots of skill here.

Hi Misha. Can u mount gopro to see speedo ? like AutoTopNL does ? and sync gopro with video, so we see speed, or even better use GPS speedo recorded from phone or something with G-meter. Much Love

This is how the 1M should have been or as he said a CLS/GT3 version... I liked the idea of the 1M with its stance, M3 subframes, suspension and diff plus tune-able engine but couldn’t get over the low rent interior... just looked like a grocery getter 1 series’s diesel.

@@AlexGrayI mostly use for performance driving so not a lot of added miles. I did cannonball it back from Boston to Seattle however. Mostly late night driving

Check out the video Robert made in the video description, he explains what makes it so great. In short it was BMW's relatively successful attempt at going back to the roots in the modern era of BMWs.
