If you’re going to try to sell your fashion, you need to make sure that you’re matching the needs of your customers. Forcing your taste on them is not matching the needs of your customers.

I think one of the biggest rules of being a fashionista is that they need to recognize that not everyone likes the same styles, and they need to know when to keep their mouths shut.

Actually, she looked great. Especially for the years '10 when the episode was recorded, she had great taste. Her hairstyle would be really cool still today unlike the rest of the cast and the family.

And that fact only says they were less into style/ fashion than the friend, but nothing else, not saying about their intelligence or empathy. Just because the girl was created as a villain in the script, it doesn't take away from her good sense of style and she is actually insulted by people here even tough we all know it's a script for creating a drama in the episode.
Thank goodness the bride put her foot down for what she wanted. Who cares if you are in school for fashion. It's the brides day and whatever her vision is is what she should wear. Save your vision for your wedding.

I went to school for fashion design and even I know well enough to let the bride or anyone pick what they like. Everyone has a different style.
This “friend” is a nightmare. Also, her pick made her look too young. She’s a bride not a little girl playing dress up.

This is the first time I felt like the show was manipulating things - the way Kayla kept looking around for reactions. Jenny looked lovely. Second bride - ugh. There's really a dress for everyone! That skirt was terrible. And why in the world would she bring such a crowd of people to a fitting? Her VOCALIST?
