- I played Assassin's Creed Mirage early at the Ubisoft Bordeaux Studios in France and in this video, I breakdown all Assassin's Creed Mirage Gameplay, Features, Impressions, Combat, Stealth, Parkour, Customisation, Gear and Weapons and more, so you are completely up to speed and can decide if the game is worth your time and hard earn coin before its release on October 5th.

I reckon it would be more detailed. It looks amazing from what we have seen, I really enjoyed origins, but man I haven't been THIS excited for an AC game in years.

I can not be the only one extremely happy we’re getting the revelations outfit. Like don’t get me wrong. I like the usual legacy ezio outfit from brotherhood. But I fell in love with the revelations robes the instant I first saw them. And they have remained among my favorites in the entire series. Something about them just always stuck with me. And to see them finally get some love after all this time makes me really happy and I can’t wait to see them rendered in this new engine

The jumping issue in the RPG games, is why I prefer the Unity running. If you hold the run button, he will jump to the nearest platform, if you hold run+ascend, you leap to the next furthest platform available. I also miss the option to manually jump like you could in the old games. It felt good to manually hop to some ledges, which is faster than the wall scramble. If you didn't understand the systems, you would fall to your death more in the old games, but if you knew what you were doing, you had less problems than you do in the newer RPG games.
I hear you mate, I think the simplification in recent years is to appeal to a broader audience. The average player gets annoyed if you're constantly falling to your death if you're not pressing various buttons at the right time when parkouring, whereas pressing forward and holding the A/X button on a controller is more enjoyable the majority. Just the way Ubi is going on this
Pathetic. This was supposed to be a return to AC roots. They kept hidden that this would control more like Valhalla. Can't believe they're keeping the same park our from the last 3 games.

Outside of the city walls we have different beautifully created areas, went there myself 😂 after like 15-20mins i was reeled back to the main quest 😅 also looted a mysterious shard from similar looking woman in the same place as JorRaptor
yeah i heard about that, apparently there will be 12 of them like items you had to collect of Excalibur in Valhalla. So there could be like a isu or isu weapon in the game.

I dont understand why the present day story is always ignored. I loved the original ACs because what happened in the past affects the present, which was really cool.
Definitely playing with the Arabic dub. Hyped for the combat as well. This is actually looking like a good game. Hope there's a classic controls scheme as well that makes it similar to the older games.
I think I'll play through with English on my first go but really keen to hear your thoughts on the Arabic dub mate, let me know what you think when you get your hands on it!

Fantastic breakdown of the game, even more tempted to buy it. I really wish Ubi would give weapons scabbards, my only real pet peeve about the AC games. Swords shouldn't hang from a loose leather strip, even less so for a game where you are meant to be a disguised killer, you tend to stand out when a shiny blade is dangling beside your thigh

Assassins Creed 1,2, & 3 were my favorites! I’m glad to see the game is making an attempt to go back to its roots. Imo AC should of never turned into an RPG!
I think there merging a lot of elements of both styles of games here, keen to hear your thoughts when you play mate!
Does anyone else think it would’ve been easy to incorporate a double assassination by having basin utilize his dagger and hidden blade simultaneously? Or just having him stab both since he’s the “fastest” assassins of late?
We even gotten assassins who despite having only 1 hidden blade still were able to have double assassination move.
Double assassination is not invented until Altair's time, true AC fans who really follow through the games will know this lore.
It didn't happen cuz of laziness, the same reason we didn't get manual ejects in this game. Typical of ubisoft to half ass something while hyping it up with cgi trailers and bullshit lies.

Even Arno and the Frye twins both performed double assassinations without the use of a double hidden blade, what stops Basim from being able to use his hidden blade and his dagger for double assassinations. NOTHING, EXCEPT LAZY DEVELOPMENT AND CORPORATE INCOMPETENCE. stop defending this sack of shit company who couldn't care less about u let alone their own product.

Look at Edward he never was taught how to use it and he was capable before he even what the Brotherhood was.

I almost completed all there is to do in the new cyberpunk dlc n then my save files got damaged n now I can’t load into any of my saves n need to start all over again… so annoying! I’ve googled it n other people are experiencing the same issue n I’m so pissed cuz it’s literally so annoying cuz I can’t load any of my saves since I started the DLC n I’m about 20 hrs of play time in n I’ve almost completed all there is to do…
The revelations, Altair's and Basim's Valhalla outfits are already in Ubi rewards, and Ezio's is the most expensive at 100 ubicoins
I just want NG + for the game so there’s some replay value.

Andy, regarding the contracts from bureaus: have they confirmed that they are replayable/infinite type of quests? Last time someone asked about infinite type of quests (like bounty board ones) devs said that there aren't replayable/infinite...
They confirmed the black box missions are limited and can only be done once unless you reload a previous save
About the button mapping for assassin focus. Its the same with lock on enemy. So how can we trigger lock on when out of combat. Some clip I see people trying to do assassin focus but accidently trigger lock on

Thanks for the video. I think you video turned me off to getting this AC. I loved massive open world of AC Odyssey, Valhalla. This seems to be more of linear approach and no present day cut scenes.

Only been watching cutscenes so far but I can tell they tried to make a story fans would love this is what got me hooked being immersed in the history and story of the animus and the assassins not fighting gods or using super power or playing and game that's a clear ripoff like odyssey if ubisoft learns from and gives taken more time to develope the game and story they can get the series back on track
Tbh I want to play as basim in England (valhalla) once again to see a clear view of him struggling with loki, maybe that will be a dlc if mirage is well sold

One of the things I'm looking most forward to is the smaller map ngl. I absolutely love Odyssey but it takes so long to complete everything and unlock all the fast travel locations (I still have absolutely no idea how AC4 🐐 made it work so goddamn well)
Andy quick question do you know if we will be able to wear basims training robes after he gets his apprentice robes?
I don't think so mate, I couldn't re-equip those robes when they put me in another mission several hours ahead in the storyline
How's mouse and keyboard controls? I remember origins feeling terrible, but the older ones feeling fine.

£45 is very friendly. If it's as cleanly finished as you said, I may brake my wow and buy it on release.
I was a level 70+ by the time I was done the 4th or 5th main mission in AC ODESSY so trust me when I say this if they don’t put a cap on when you can hit these levels, I will be a master assassin before the 10th mission guaranteed! I can’t wait for this game.
There's no levels in this game only points you can get

This game seems fantastic and not to bad of a price tag and it looks to have alot of prince of persia referenses wich i love so yeah i am buying this one. I still need to finish odyssey but I am not sure if its worth to do the plus mode and what the difference is and also finish vallhala and origins.

Have no bad or good thoughts on the Animus Store because you don’t have to buy anything if you don’t want to but I’m curious to see the Jinn set. Always liked playing creepy and haunting things in these games. Great video! Tons of info!
Only problem I fear is Ubi might force them to make tons of packs for the Animus store and it'll be like Valhalla again with barely any in the main game
@@David-nq8cv That’s true. Maybe they should do something like Reda’s store and the heka chests from origins? Might be a grind but it will push players to play more to unlock more instead of whipping out your wallet.
Is there a way that I can get young Basims look through cosmetics like wearing his street thief outfit or that one outfit he had training with Roshan?

No you can't dye legacy outfits because it'll be in the costume category so it will overlay the outfit you have equipped

Will Assasins creed Japan will be a Short game or a Huge game including DLC’s and expansions
I had heard we wouldn't be able to unlock every single skill when Mirage was first announced last year, but now I'm wondering how that and the reset are going to work, because I thought I heard somewhere that there are a few skills that are noted in their description as unable to be reset once unlocked.
I assume it’ll be like the barebones basics that won’t be able to be reset. Like stuff in the skill trees up until it starts splitting off. Then when you get into the skills that require more skill points those will be your like “this is my play style” skills and you’ll be able to tweak those while finding the combos you like the most

Just to clarify regarding contracts is it something that is randomly generated over time and unlimited or is there a set amount to complete like in Black Flag?

I deeply appreciate this. It looks good. I won’t get another assassin creed game after Valhalla unless this diarrhea like urge by ubisoft to bloat its games to repetitiveness stops. The only reason I think they do this is so they can keep you longer in the platform so to increase the probability you buy more things in their store. After a certain point their assassin games becomes a meaningless grind and the story gets drowned

It's good to know they stuck to an upgrade level system similar to valhalla. I hope they continue the upgrade level system in future RPGs, rather than the rarity system.
