I think the first two things I googled were “Is Sam and Liam dating” and that was just after a few episodes in and “Does Tiberius stay in the show?” Because I wanted to find an episode, if there was one at the time to continue cuz just watching some of that player conflict was giving me PTSD

For anyone not as familiar with CR and because they give kind of a misleading non-answer to the question: Liam and Laura are NOT actually related- however, they share a birthday and they DO play twins in the first campaign because of that!
And their friendship is basically brother/sister, like the way Liam teases or picks on Laura at the table (or eggs her on to laughing at any possible double-entendre), and Liam's said he does think of her as basically a sister. I forget if Laura has been that explicit about feeling the same way, but they're clearly very close.
If people haven't watched the one shot Liam's Quest: Full Circle, do so. At least the final scene.

Travis is spot on as to why people are so into CR. Its just fun and wholesome to see a bunch of freinds having so mich fun together.
Yet they can't stop going on about how it's a problem that they're all white and mostly male.
They know the 'realness' is what people like, yet they've gone all-in on hiring people based on identity politics.
Not just friends but Friends that easy on the eyes and comfortable in front of a camera
I've seen people mention that this is actually borderline incomprehensible to people who don't know Critical Role (examples: Liam and Laura being related, Taliesin being immoral, Matt's character names, Liam bane, etc etc etc) and it's so worth the rewatch pretending you don't have the context 😅

@@grahamkristensen9301yeah he’d been relatively toxic for a while which is why things like between the sheets and talks machina and other things with critical role as a company got axed because he didn’t have a good working relationship with them. he was an addict and apparently he’d relapsed and things had gotten really bad and he became abusive towards ashley and that final fight which made her fear for her life was the final straw and she left and took out the restraining order. it’s heartbreaking i really hope she’s okay

So nobody in the comments mentions the tatoo Travis has but here's a bit of trivia.
The tatoo spells verðr, which as an adjective means worth (like in the "worthy of the power of Thor") but as a noun, it means meal eg náttverðr is supper or dagverðr is "daymeal" usually eaten around 9am.
Contemporaty Icelandic is very close to Old Norse and supper is to this day called kvöldverður. So the pizza joke was actually not that far off.
I don't know much about how Icelandic/Old Norse letters are specifically pronounced, but I do know "ð" is pronounced as a "th" sound, so when I read "verðr" as an English-speaker it sounds like "verther." AKA "Werther" with an accent, which is also very fitting :P

For "bit's and pieces" Liam's accent when speaking german is impressive. You can hear it a bit, that he's not native, but it really sounds very good!

Man the is Marisha vegan thing got me, because that is a really, really deep season 1 cut. I think Marisha joked about her druid character that "Keyleth's not vegan, but she acts like she is." And 10 years later...here we are.
I didn't recall that joke, but when I heard the question I also thought it must have been because both early game Keyleth and early game Beau were abrasive bitchy characters who came across a bit like the loud preachy kind of vegan. Well, that and she used to look as if she didn't get enough to eat a few years back.

I was shocked at how good his accent is because usually when english-speaking people say they can speak a bit of german, they absolutely butcher the language xD
@@hummingbird1375 Well Liam DID say he took German in High School. He probably developed the accent at that time and, given how good the accent still is, I assume he did well in those classes. When you learn a language, while you may lose the knowledge of the words if you don't use it, you don't lose the accent/pronunciation. Also, when you're locked into an accent for, like, 3 years, you kinda get good at it.

In Naruto, Laura has voiced Kushina Uzumaki, Anko, Kurotsuchi, and the minor characters Matsuri, Ayame (the ramen guy's daughter), Shiho, Obito's grandma, Akane, Hinoto, Unagi, Emi, Nae, and Tsunami. In filler arcs she voiced a weird hair demon called Fuka, a kid called Yukimaru and his mom, and Toki, AKA the Cursed Warrior. man this video kind of hurt, I haven't watched Critical Role in a few years as I just didn't have the time to keep up with it, but seeing them all together again in this video made me realise what I've been missing, their energy is just the best together
I can recommend their recent one-shots if you want to dip your toes back in without commiting to a campaign. And maybe check out Candela Obscura if Edwardian steampunk horror is your kind of thing (at least check out their costumes and the set, everything looks so good!).

My favorite part of this and critical role as a whole, is just how wholesome and non toxic and close knit the relationship between everyone is. It’s so nice just see people who genuinely have real friendships just having fun with each other.
Yeah! I still remember a couple tense games with Orion in campaign 1 that weren't so non-toxic. Very glad that business is done with, although I imagine he's kicking himself to this day.

Sometimes I'm so into them as members of Critical Role that I forget that each of them are prolific actors and artists on their own. What a talented ensemble.

@@KuueenKumi Same here, I found a random copy of the first manga at a used book store read it and loved it and was able to find a box set of the series and fell in love. I had seen other anime before on TV but this was the first one I searched for and learned the word "anime". Even though I switched to watching anime in Japanese I was stocked to hear her return in the Fruits Basket remake.
It cannot be understated how grateful I am for Critical Role. Mad respect for them all.

For those who aren’t familiar: Critical Role is a Dungeons and Dragons video series primarily on Twitch and CZcams. If you love the personalities but don’t know if you’ll be interested in all the nerdy jargon that comes with a game such as DND, don’t worry! They’re hilarious and stellar talents. If you want to dip your toes and give them a try, I’d recommend starting with Episode 1 of their Mighty Nein Campaign. You’ll get a pretty good feel for them in the first 30 minutes with character introductions. Don’t be intimidated by the long hours of each episode. I always listen to them in bits and pieces throughout my week 🤗
Watching Legend of Vox Machina on Prime Video is a great start and way shorter
