Nice review. Full tank 91 vs empty tank e85. 6.5lbs/gal x 17+ gallons is around 110+lbs more weight when pulling on 91 oct. All those extra pounds are definitely some of the difference.
Here in Indianapolis we got 93 octane at most pumps AND we have one special race gas pump station in town with VP race fuels of various types including methanol. When it gets super warm outside I sometimes mix the 93 pump with VP MS 100 aka Streetblaze. This fuel mixture combined with an axle back exhaust on my 2020 LT1 pops like mad! Thanks for sharing the difference with us! May get a flex fuel sensor at some point since these engines respond well to it and we have E85 everywhere. Pulls hard with the race fuel mixture but not like E85 would. Those pops tho! 👊
