The show itself was good for what it was. But the tiny six episodes season doesn’t help at all… & then Well, let’s face it_ THIS is what happens when you handcuff a show to a pay-for streaming platform, instead of being free to watch on regular network TV, huh?🤔

The whole trilogy required advance knowledge about multiple continuity families to understand what was going on. Like a casual fans not going to get it.
My background is “Prime”, “Cyberverse”, “Rescuebots”, “Earthspark”, “Bayverse”, that Bumblebee show and movie. The “War for Cybertron” trilogy is really boring, with halfhearted voice acting. If the characters would’ve not mumbled and just spoke, I would’ve liked it so much more.
My main issue other than the voice actors is that 6 eps per season is too short. I wouldve loved if they had some flashback showing ultra magnus, optimus, and megatron before the war. I hated how they just killed elitas team at the end of earthrise. Her storyline felt pointless in the end. Galvatron and Nemesis felt like they kinda came out of nowhere just to setup the next trilogy.
I Actually Agreed With You On How They Murdered Elita-One's Team & The Remaining Cons On Cybertron At The End Of Earthrise. What They Would Have Done Is Have Elita-One & Shockwave Die In The Explosion While Chromia, Jetfire, Red Alert & The Other Cons Remain Somewhere Safe On Cybertron.

They felt like they were just shoved in as a marketing tactic. We get shown the end of the Beast Era in this continuity with none of what led to it. Barneytron was unsalvageably out of character for one but even Primal was nothing like his source material. He was the polar opposite of BW Primal, but he could've worked if we got to see what led him to become so jaded. But we didn't.
I can appreciate getting to see these designs in more modern animation (Season 1 BW is really rough in parts visually and the new models for them looked pretty great for the most part) but after watching samples of Beast Wars upscaled to 4k I'd be much more satisfied with an HD or better remastering of the original for that. Show cleans up real nice in HD and beyond considering its age.
After seeing what Netflix did with Castlevania, it's clear they are wiling to put in the budget to make a masterpiece sometimes but that also had a script Warren Ellis had been tinkering with for a decade as a die hard fanboy of the franchise going for it. This entire trilogy was just rushed to an unbelievable degree and felt written by people who had no idea about any of these characters beyond Dinobot dying like a badass.
G1 Megs and Starscream though, I have to give them props for. Well directed, well acted. Starscream was as good an impression of the original as could be asked for and Megs was a really fitting voice if you weren't going for Welker style. Outside of Welker playing Megatron in the beginning of the G1 movie where he got to be effective for once, I actually prefer this trilogy's voice over Welker for the character. Give him better material to work with and he could do really well in the role. G1 Megatron was a product of the time and Welker had to work within that. This guy got to be a character who wasn't robo Skeletor.
Each of these seasons needed to be longer, Kingdom needed a lead in rather than just jump straight into the final days of a conflict we saw nothing of. Castlevania made very short seasons work because it was well paced, this had more screen time to work with and bit off way more than it could chew at every turn while still managing to be painfully underdeveloped at the same time. I would love to see how Primal went from the level headed and reasonable character I grew up with to this hyper aggressive, jaded warrior. I can see Chalk's Primal becoming this character if things played out in certain ways but they just dumped this jaded, cynical, violent asshole on us with no explanation for why he is this way. After all, BM Primal became an extremist zealot in the opposite direction and that was just as out of character as Kingdom Primal.
I was so happy just to see the beast wars characters again… but the voice acting was just so awful.. They gave no life to these amazing characters. I just can’t understand why the creators don’t realize how important voice actors are. Even though this is a reimagining, had the obtained the original beast wars voice actors, this show would have been 1000% better. And also, there was no need to revisit code of hero. No show could ever capture the heart and emotion that episode made you feel. For all newbies, unfamiliar with beast wars… please do not let this show be your first impression. Watch the original 1995 beast wars season 1-3. (Not beast machines)

@@Megatron-xs2qe Same people rag on beast machines alot without even watching that show. It may not be the best thing ever but it is decent, and people forget how hard it is to live up to something that was considered great.
Optimus internal conflict makes sense. But the show seems to forgot Megatron was going to murder them all anyway. So it makes Optimus look dumb when they didn’t intend to.

8:37 I honestly don't think its meant to be a hint at a relationship between Airazor and Blackarachnia, I'm pretty sure it's just meant to tie into the fact the in S1 of BW, Blackarachnia was flirty with everyone. Especially since it's hinted Tigatron and Airrazor have a relationship when she's captured.
I still think siege was a good start. Earthrise took that good & literally killed it over the course of the season. Kingdom plays out like a fever dream & after Dinobot dies, the season eats shrooms & just becomes a bad trip.
I genuinely didn’t know that the siege or kingdom shows were even on Netflix until the day before their releases.
Luckily, in this community people are aware that this series is not good, because in the hispanic community the vast majority
of the public believe that this trilogy is one of the best series of the franchise and they do not even have a legitimate argument in favor of it

I was the first in the hispanic community to review kingdom and that video right now has more dislikes than likes, but nobody commented to try to deny me (I'm not doing spam, I just want you to get an idea of the situation)
That is just sad that the Hispanic side of the fandom thinks this show is good. Well it's good you know the English side of the fandom has mixed feelings on the matter though. I guess English speaking fans might have a better grasp of how bad this show is compared to Spanish speaking fans. No offense though
@@Kaiju-bm4ts I believe it’s because the Spanish dub is way more well directed/voice acted. I heard majority of the original Beast Wars Spanish cast returned to do the Spanish dub of Kingdom. I’m sure if WFC were to make the same effort for it’s English dub, the series would definitely be more well-receipted here.

One thing they said in a series that doesn't make sense to me, De AllSpark is the Life secure of Cybertron, without it Cybertron can't live or can't create new life, NO YET Primal said that they live in a world where De AllSpark doesn't exist, HOW EXACTLY WHERE THEY CREATED THEN?! They're techno organic but THEY STILL HAVE A SPARK!!!!!!! Dinobot proved that, how would they exist when De AllSpark doesn't exist?!

The problem isn't the buget it was the story. The series needs good writers that know the characters and the world. Fans can excuse animation, or lackluster voice work if the story is really good and interesting.

The opening scene of the maximals getting blasted pretty much summed up their entirety in that show. They were some of if not the most well written characters in the franchise with IDW Megatron and animated prowl coming as close contenders being shoehorned in and just being unneeded by the plot of the series. The two biggest offenders are Dinobot and BW Megatron. They turned one of the best incarnations of Megatron who was known for his cunning and him going crazy with delusions grandeur and power into a simp, that was his ENTIRE character in that series. Dinobot got the biggest mistreatment in that whole series. He was the most well written character in the franchise and they did nothing with him, changed his core traits and then when he died, they basically just shoved his body in the bushes until they needed him for du ex machina reasons.

I'm tired of this deconstructionalist trend writers seem to keep copying now. Tearing down old heroes and making them losers and broken down bums. It never works or satisfies the fans/customers. That poor writing combined with the awful voice acting for Prime with his...drawn..out....way....of......speaking which was unbearable to listen to.
I think the actress voicing Elita one was pretty good. but ya the voice director was aweful

I loved it. Got me back into collecting for the first time since I was a kid.
I will say that even unlikeable TF series like Netflix's TF series (at least to me, it's unlikeable) inspires me to create my own fan-made Transformers series based off Michael Bay's Transformers Movieverse series, basically a reimagine of the live action movie continuity which I am still a big fan of it (don't get me wrong, there are definitely things I actually dislike about Michael Bay's Transformers series, but I still love it and appreciated for being my first introduction to transformers in general). The difference is that my transformers movie based series will have the transformers as main characters and the humans as secondary characters, giving them personalities which will be staying true to each of the their original character core, giving them character development, giving more screen time, writing original stories, changing some of the autobots and decepticons' robot or vehicle designs and as well as making my fan-made series be appropriate for both younger and older audience. (I rather have it be a TF series that both Kids and Adults can watch and enjoy). I hope that Hasbro makes a another transformers series that is more than just a random toyline and that they should stop working with rooster teeth in making more shows. That studio doesn't seem to be doing a good job.
Edit: As big Transformers fan, I really LIKE having humans in the franchise, especially when the story takes place on earth, that being said, I definitely want to have one human who is a MAIN character in my reimagine transformers animated movie-based series.

Though, I have a trilogy, involving the Multiverse
1. Transformers Generations- Basically based off the toyline series of the same name, but is actually based off scrapped storylines, and trying to fix many Transformers plotholes (where the hell did the new 1985 characters come from in the second season of the G1 cartoon, the two scrapped Beast Wars episodes, an actual sequel to Beast Machines, an adaptation of the Balancing Act Cybertron comic arc from the BotCon comics, Season 4 of Animated, the many plotholes of the Filmverse, what happened to Airachnid in Prime, and a 4th season of RiD 2015, plus Shattered Glass), using the *exact* same animation and writing as the Originals (some people like certain pieces of media after all), and all the Original Surviving voice actors, oh yeah this also includes adaptations of the Japanese Transformers cartoons, and animated adaptations of comic and text prose crossovers (GI Joe, My Little Pony, Ghostbusters, possibly Marvel and DC, etc.)
2. A Transformers Reboot (not sure if Im calling it Nexus though)- Exactly what it sounds like, but taking concepts from previous Transformers media, starts out with a new version of Beast Wars (like the newer IDW Beast Wars comics), then going into an actual backstory for Optimus (going from Naive Orion Pax, to a more classic G1 Optimus Prime), then going on from there, plus mild amounts of gore (like Prime mixed with Mortal Kombat), and classic Cybertronian swears (like Slag, Scrap, etc.)
2.5. Transformers Reboot movie- Basically ends the Transformers Reboot series by crossing over with Transformers Generations, and by extension the rest of the Transformers Multiverse to put an end to Unicron (built up throughout the Transformers Reboot to be every version of Unicron fused into one known as Unicron Ultima (basically reverse of the Shrouding from the BotCon comics)
3. Transformers Universe- The ending to the trilogy involves the Transformers undoing all the Multiverse damage done by Unicron Ultima, involving a special ending scene akin to the 1990s Spider-Man cartoon's finale

I had my own ideas of retelling the Transformers stories, even one that went through various generations to tell one whole connected story, but I also had an idea to tell a story for a Transformers game if it were like Dynasty Warriors.

It felt so cheap and rushed. Poor voice acting, poor writing, re-using character models dozens of times each. So few episodes so no one was allowed character moments to develop personality and make us care. So many story and mythology elements crammed into six episodes at a time with no room to breath. Like they're just checking off a list of things that have to mention and include.
I really felt drained after watching Kingdom
Fully agree they just did not know what to do with Optimus Prime in this show, and stop over using the allspark, they already nerfed the matrix in the show by taking out the wisdom from it and putting it in the Alpha Trion Protocals back in siege just so this Prime knows nothing. For what ever reason why did Galavtron and nemesis want the allspark to kill unicorn your going after the wrong bloody tf artifact you want the matrix you idiots. What was the point of having the dead universe in there, or any of the other sub plots that never paid off towards the end like Elita's crew were a waste of time as she got fridged. It doesn't help that siege just throws us into the the middle of the war. The first arc should have been Orion Pax finding the matrix and becoming Optimus Prime, heck if they wanted a bad good guy leader that's normally a role for Sential prime - just give Optimus role to Sential and Elita's to Orion Pax and have him go from there. For example having Alpha Tion already dead means we don't get to know this version of the character or how good or bad of a mentor he was. Characters like Omega showed up and were forgotten for the rest of the series. The show really did suffer from no toy well can't use the character then can you. I really do wish Habro would borrow a page from DC and start doing movies based on comic stories how awesome would it be to see Target 2006 or Last stand of the wreckers but animated
For me the ideal 3 part small show would be part 1 would be a pre war cybrtron where we see the characters in the past like Orion, gladiator/miner megatron, ratchet, etc and the corrupt council in action then leading to war and BW earth.
Episode P1 1-3 would be meeting the characters but them younger like Orion the Liberian, megatron the miner and gladiator, and Jetfire the scientist etc doing there daily thing and we see megatron starting to rally his coworkers and gladiators to rise up against the council and we would see the council doing corrupt things and soundwave/barricade would be spying undercover at the council for megatron.
Episode P1 4-6 would be the war starts with decepticons rioting and autobots would be struggling with leadership cause they don’t have Optimus yet and the war would be a stand still with the decepticons slowly wining. Alpha trion would be at the library (the iacon vault like in prime) and have a chat with Orion about future things and the library would be attacked and trion/Orion would escape where they meet with ironhide/prowl and then they would be attacked again where trion would give Orion a location to travel to and it would be like WFC(game) where Orion reach the core and talk to primus then get the matrix and one noble speak later we would see Optimus take charge against the decepticons
Episode P2 1-2 there would be a small time skip where it mid war where we would see a stand still and it would be similar to siege kinda with energon scavenging, mercenaries, and finding a space bridge where Wheeljack and ratchet work to repair. There would be ambushes and supply raids for time filler while Optimus speaks to omega only for o eggs to reject his offer.
Episode P2 3-4 would be a bit of filler and also small bits of both sides storing resources for ships the ark and nemesis. While the space bridge is being repaired hound would use his hologram tech to disguise most of the area around the space bridge but laserbeak would spot holo dome being put up around the space bridge so soundwave would report to megatron where there would be chatter between megatron, shockwave, starscream, and Jetfire on what to do and megatron decides to let the autobots finish the space bridge then take it from them. On a scouting trip the seekers (SS TC SW) and jetfire would come across a few dead and wounded auto bots where starscream goes on a power rant before slowly killing the bots 1 by 1 where Jetfire see all the death and questions if he’s on the right side.
Episode P2 5-6 would have another small time skip to where both ships are pretty much done and the autobots plan to use the space bridge to space cybertron and rebuild and revive cybertron. Megatron is rallying all the decepticons to attack the space bridge and gets the nemesis air born where the autobots would mount one last counter to escape. This part in 5 is where we would see Jetfire defect to the autobots and it would be a huge battle for survival. Near the middle of 5 omega would appear like in siege and the space bridge is activated where Optimus and megatron are clashing only to be interrupted by the ark starting the engines and megatron orders the decepticons o the nemesis and the nemesis would start firing at the ark then omega would act like a giant shield stopping most of the lasers as the 2 ships break orbit and get through the portal. In 6 we would see both ships in a empty area in space where the autobots locate the nears planet with energon and it would be earth so the autobots would notice the planet is inhabited by humans and they would scan earth based vehicles to disguise as, the decepticons would make the earth mode transition and megatron focus on hunting down Optimus. The ark would start a warp jump to earth but would be interrupted by the nemesis ramming into the ark but the warp happens as the ships collide. We would see the ships exit the warp portal and crash on earth but it’s not the “current” day earth it’s the prehistoric earth with the beast wars characters and they ended up in the last due to when the ships collided it nocked the ark off course and scramble a bunch of stuff so then crashed on prehistoric earth instead of going into stasis and landing on “current” earth.
Then kingdom would kick off but not sure what to do cause I don’t wanna fall on the allspark crap we’ve seen enough and would like to see galvatron and megatron to interact and I know this story isn’t detailed and has some holes but it’s a rough idea of what I would’ve wanted this trilogy to be
I actually started out enjoying this trilogy. Thought it could have been a interesting new origin story, but Kingdom was fucking abysmal. They ruined most of the Beast Wars characters. People talk as if the voice acting was the only bad part, but they completely warped their personalities. Dont even get me started on Beast Wars Megatron. Also they tease Unicron and do absolutely nothing with him. I went from being intrigued at the start to wanting to wipe this utter shit-show from my memory the second it ended. God forbid this fucking trash ever gets a sequel!
This is what I think. Beast Megatron's voice isn't good, but I think I fits the personality of this poor excuse for a Megatron, this Megatron seriously just reminds me of Beast Wars Scorponok voice and personality wise. The best part of the show to me was Starscream and Blackarachnia, I think they did those two perfectly. Dinobot and Tigatron sounded like they had each other's voice, and both of them could've been improved if the show was longer. Prime is still terribly written. This show might actually have my favorite version of Galvatron. I still think Megatron was done pretty well. Airrazor was ok. I forgot Cheetor even existed most of the time. I was disappointed that there were barely any Predacons, Dinobot barely counts as one, Blackarachnia does her own thing, and Barney is garbage. Scorponok has no reason to exist because Megatron is basically him. I wish Waspinator, Terrorsaur, and Tarantulas were in it, I also wish the last 2 had toys too but that's not what I'm talking about here. Kingdom was definitely my favorite of the 3, it wasn't bad but it's not getting into my top 5 Transformers shows or anything. Also I am tired of the Allspark, I never liked it, yet Hasbro insists on using it every time now. It's just a discount Vector Sigma if you ask me, it's the same thing with it every time, Allspark is taken from Cybertron, Megatron wants it Prime wants it, they go to space to find it. Animated did the best job using it, but I still wasn't a fan of it then either. There's a lot more I have to say about Kingdom but I'm not going to waste more time of the people reading this

Theory: the optimus we saw all the time is a fake, meaning hes just a no one with primus apotheosis.
Optimus can actually become evil if Megatron dies and stays that way for a prolonged period because these two can barely live without each other, but it leads to a Shattered Glass type Optimus rather than Nemesis. And it’s creepier because he acts like a malfunctioning Judge Dredd when that happens.
They Missed The Golden Opportunity With The Maximals, Dinobot & Blackarachnia In Terms Of The Japanese Dub, They Got Takehito Koyasu & Shigeru Chiba Return As Optimus Primal & Beast Megatron, But Why They Didn't Get Wataru Takagi Return As Cheetor Or Kappei Yamaguchi Return As Rattrap Or Even, Ryōka Yuzuki Return As Blackarachnia (She Even Reprised Her Role As Her In The Japanese Dub Of Transformers Animated).
Also, They Could Have Brought In Kenjiro Tsuda Or Toshiyuki Morikawa As The Voice Of Dinobot In This Dub, Because The Original Seiyuu For Dinobot Passed Away Back In 2020 Before Siege Was Released On Netflix.

Now I'm a writer. Not a truly good one but I do have the potential to become a legend. I've tried to rewrite the Bay Films but. The issues I've made have sprung up. But a recent book I'm making at the moment is sort of like war stories your grandfather would usually tell you. But to go into the point of Nemesis Prime. I think the concept is actually good. Not the way you would think that Optimus goes bad. After he dies he is resurrected by Unicron and is a servant like Galvatron. And you could even add Optimus fighting back every chance he gets but always fails to regain his body back. It's a great concept. But it's always and I mean always had bad executions ever since the idea of Nemesis Prime began

I feel like it was about the merch. A lot of Kingdom toys were not present in the show. Not to mention a Unicron reissue even though he's barely in it either.
They really didn’t tell the full story of this story of cybertron. Plus they should told the beast wars story before kingdom. It would have been much better. They left too many characters and kill too many off too early. I stopped watching it after earthrise. I gave up on this trilogy. They really could done a much better job.
I guess I am one of few who enjoyed the series. I went into the series as a blank slate. I do NOT want to see G1 again. I do NOT need to see Beast Wars again. I think that people want the same voices and same everything. I enjoy something different. Not saying that some of the voice acting wasn't horrid because it was. Optimus Prime Batman might have been the worst voice acting on the whole show. It played into the character arc. Beast Wars Megatron was following G1 Megatron I mean he took his name for God's sake if that isn't a sycophant I don't know what is. I wish Dinobot didn't do the same thing as the original. I get it but I wish he would have made it to the end of the series. IMO this was more of a Megatron story and something I have always wanted. Megatron had the best arc. You saw build-up and change. Like when Megatron shut down sector 12 that was amazing. Megatron walking away and not shaking Primes hand again is amazing.
I only watched the third chapter, but I liked it. It wasn't great, but it was good.
Optimus Primal was in Who Framed Roger Rabbit working as a bouncer.
Ironically this trilogy would've been better as a Megatron-centric show dabbling more in his road from revolutionary to villain and finally possibly to being open to peace.
I actually loved that dark stuff showing Megatron's 'good side' here and there but overall being overshadowed by the insanity and desperation he embraced.
Voice acting overall in the trilogy was bizarrely show.
And a lot of the action was also seemingly in slowmo at times.
I did enjoy the gritty/dark edge of a lot of stuff which was reminescent to a lot of the old comics.
The mishamsh of G1 and BW really didn't work well. Especially the last season seemed more than ever just there to push the BW stuff. (and the BW Megs execution was disgracefully bad)
One of my other problems about transformers kingdom is that like g1 charters treat maximals and predacons like disgusting beasts and as a beast wars fan that kinda seems unfair and racist, to not talk about how weak they made some of them, like dinobot: loyal warrior and strong Soldier, gets beaten up by starscream like nobody and after he manages to beat laser beak, ravage,soundwave and megatron.
And i could keep going like the final scene all the maximals and predacons get beate up by galvatron and nemesis prime.
It was disappointing

Lmao 🤣 well ironically Andy did admit kingdom was a failure since it was the least advertised out of all 3 seasons and it had the lowest ratings too but I'm sure Andy still fanboyed over everything acting like kingdom along with this trilogy as a whole was flawless. He only fanboys about this trilogy because his quote on quote "fantasies" came true in this trilogy and no offense to him but if this trilogy sums up all his dreams of what a tf show is then his fantasies were just horrible and were completely biased towards him because in the end what we get is a trilogy with a fast paced plot horrible voice acting and the disrespect of the beast wars characters. I'm just glad this trilogy is over with already

The only reason we got Female Autobots was to try and bring female audiences to the G1 show.... it was obvious Airazor and Tigatron were a thing even in Kingdom. Of course a group jumped for widdle joy over Black Arachnia's peck on Airazor, but we have to understand Netflix has this rule were that HAS to be in EVERY show they make. My family has stopped watching Netflix because so many shows inject a lifestyle we don't agree with, and many others. At the mo we still have Netflix, but many people have been canceling Netflix since the beginning of the year and their stock has dropped a good $40+ recently too, albeit their stock is still above $500 currently... it may seem small, but it's still substantial as more people continue to drop the service. And we may soon drop it with many shows we used to watch have been since taken off and we have Disney+.... and cable... my wife are really thinking about dropping a bunch of still...

To me the trilogy biggest flaw was too much saying over showing, while I appreciate the effort to connect different continutities, the plot became too convoluted.
The opening make me laugh, but the rest of the show me and my brother barley pay attention too it as it feels soo boring and suffering the same issue like the previous two.

I got so bored over the first season I didn't even bother with the other two except for one episode. I don't know if it's the writers (who I had high expectations for since they came from Prime) or the studio, but this was awful. Cyberverse and Rescue Bots of all things were more entertaining and less miserable to watch than this mess. I don't care if it looks like G1 or Beast Wars. They NEED to do better than this
Next time I hear there's another show for Transformers, I'm not gonna be so hyped like I was with Siege at first because this was so bland I don't even wanna imagine how much lower they can take it
Edit: It's not as terrible as Energon nor the Prime Wars Trilogy. BUT, the one thing that brings it down for me is the fact that they reduced the size of Megatron's lips.

The reason why Primal is also called Optimus is because that's the equivalent of being called Joe. So there were many Optimus at that time so it wasn't considered insulting to be called like that... I'm kidding! This discussion was funny. In contrast I heard the discussion between Rodimus Primal and FJ Desanto and I feel bad for him because it seemed he cares a lot, but well it didn't work well for some of us.

The show was different and unique. They weren't able to get the BW voice actors due to the cost by the union (that's what I'm recalling). It was a interesting take and not a rehash of stuff that we've already seen. I enjoyed it. 🙂
I guess you never played the War for Cypertron games because it was FAR better than Netflix’s version. Also, different and unique (which I don’t know what’s so “unique” about it) doesn’t make it good.

What went wrong WAS......THEY ADDED BEAST WARS TO IT! The series was good UNTIL they killed off everyone on Cybertron to bring in the garbage Beast Wars chacracters. GRANTED they are more tolerable than the original Beast Wars show.

@@Megatron-xs2qe I watched BW back in 96 and it was a great show. I didn't really like the voice actors for them. But it was interesting to see them in a different way. I knew from the start they would be on the same level as their 96 counterparts...but it was nice to see them.
