  • Dacia Duster Journey 2024 Review 4K (Croatian premiere) 1.6 Hybrid 140 HP
Here is a first look at the all-new 3. generation of Dacia Duster 2024 built on the new CMF-B platform with an all-new design.
The new Dacia Duster is now available in 3 trim levels; Essential as base trim, Expression and top trim separated into two; Journey as urban trim, and Extreme as off-road trim.
Dacia has developed special tires for the new Duster with Continental & Hankook. All cars come with summer tires except Extrem trim 4x4 which comes with all-season tires (rated as snow tires). Tires have better stopping distance, lower rolling resistance, and lower noise decibels. Also, the Extreme 4x4 suspension is taller (217 mm) while the rest of the trims have 4x2 lowered suspension (209 mm) for better aerodynamics improving consumption efficiency.
Dacia said Duster kept the same dimensions but it has grown on the inside space while keeping the same cargo space 430/570 l, the rear bench was moved backwards allowing for more leg room while cargo space has been kept the same by making it more wither. Despite the same dimensions Duster isn't shaped like a Coca-Cola bottle on the sides anymore but is flat, allowing for more width space in the cabin.
There are now 3 more efficient powertrain options; the LPG version (1300km range), 48V Mild Hybrid & Full Hybrid all combined with 3-cylinder turbocharged Petrol, excluding the 1.6 l 4-cylinder naturally aspirated Petrol in Full Hybrid setup. Diesel is gone due to C02 reduction politics. All petrol versions have a 6-speed manual transmission while the Hybrid is the only one available with an automatic. There are whispers of 4x4 with automatic coming in the near future.
    - 1.0 ECo-G 100 HP,
    - 1.2 TCe130 HP 48V,
    - 1.2 TCe 130 HP 48V, 4x4,
    - 1.6 Hybrid 140 HP, 4x2. Best for towing up to 1500 kg.

4x4 is improved now including different driving mods for different surfaces: Auto, Snow, Mud/Sand, Off-Road, and now including a downhill assist. The Hybrid has an e-Save mode which saves battery life for planned uphill drives when fully loaded.
The base price starts at 19.500€ and the top-spec is 27.800 € in Croatia.
Dacia has decided we are not "making the cheapest car" anymore instead, they are making "value for money" starting with this new Duster!
One of the 3 key points Dacia has listened to its customers and reviewer feedback is; cabin soundproofing, the comfort of the seats, and an infotainment upgrade.
The new Dacia duster now has a proper door closing sound, the engine bay is better isolated, and the Hybrid is also fine-tuned and more efficient than in Jogger. The cabin is quieter thanks to new tires, and the new suspension uses new technology on the rear accel to compensate for the lack of multilink and improved steering, allowing for shorter u-turns. It also gives the driver more precise maneuvering and better road feedback.
Finally, the Duster got a proper digital cockpit for the first time and a faster new infotainment. Which comes standard from Expression trim. The seats are now made out of two layers of foam, more dense foam makes a base core for support and a top layer of soft foam provides comfort for long journeys.
On top of all 20% of plastic parts and all-weather floor mats in the new Duster have been made of recycled plastic focusing on saving the environment and reusing materials.

Very nice video! I ordered the Extreme 1.6 fullhybrid version! Gonna arrive around September-October and I'm so excited for it! I'm Romanian and I only had VAG ( Polo 2011,Tiguan 2009 and Tiguan 2014 all new ) and after I went to test drive this i totally fell in love with it and sold my Tiguan (2014) to get this! Can't wait to have this brand new!

@@JRCarReviews, thanks. I was trying to understand the size of the car better. Did you have enough room in the driver's seat? Thank you!

Why all new cars have even worse scratchy materials and seat fabric is more easily marked and stained 😡

To be fair Dacia was always a cheap budget brand, they always had hard plastic interior. Just now they invested in their flagship SUV.

Tako vam i talijani i španjolci isto na engleskom prezentiraju u svojoj državi.
