    I got this car for 2 weeks now. So far reaching 5.3 liter per 100km in a mixed city and highway situation, and Airco on all the time (30 degrees outside). Only put ECO mode on in city traffic.

      You still have the option to order a dacia for this price point. Just not with automatic and hybrid. And this was not available in the past, so what is your point? If you get more, you pay more, it is normal, right? As long as you can still place an order without these features, I dont see anything wrong with this

    unbeliavable how still people "calculate" consumption rates by reading computer data 🤣....rarely do I see someone actually doing the "top up" REAL calculation....and this done in a more representative way (not just a few dozen or few hundred kilometers).....😒

  • @TomislavKoren

    5.1 doesn't seem to approve much larger price of Hybrid. It will take long time to pay off the difference in fuel costs comparing to LPG or 1.2 Tce. Since downsizing is all about lowering CO2, somehow it would make more sense to use old 1.6 LPG where much higher CO2 cannot eat 4000€ price difference in CO2 taxes. On the other hand, LPG price today is 0,69€ per litre whereas petrol costs 1.53€ per litre, at least in my country. If it would be PHEV, that would make A LOT of difference. So, thank you, not interested.

    • @dksilber9500
      @dksilber9500 Před měsícem +2

      Don't forget the automatic. If you include this in your comparison, than the higher price is lower. What is the surcharge for an automatic transmission in this class? I think 1000 to 1500€ is realistic. Of course you have to drive A LOT to pay off the difference - I have ordered my Duster with this Hybrid engine, and guess what? Not because of the costs. Because of the driving experience. Have driven the Tce 130 4x4 and this one. The Hybrid is way smoother...

      on highway with 130kmh you went up to 130 for a few seconds and then went down to 110... than back up .. just a little....cause even you noticed that its too much.

      I get that its not your car and you dont hant to damage it. but you pushed it so far it looks like dacia payed you to "confirm" those 5l and it took you several tries to actually manage to do it.

    New MG 3 full hybrid with 190 HP engine is much cheaper and yes, it's a bit smaller (sandero like), but inside space is not that far away. The trunk has like 170 liters less, so it's a significant difference. But otherwise like Duster it's meant for the city, so it kinda compares...

    For me, this car was off the table after the EURO NCAP tests. It received 3 stars and failed in both the front and side crash tests, not just in the electronic assistance categories. For the same price, we can buy 5-star cars with similar specs. It costs almost the same as the Mazda CX-30, Kia Ceed, Kamiq, and Karoq, and significantly more than the Chinese counterparts. They all have 5 stars. Thanks, but no thanks, Dacia.

      Pentru 5 stele, cel puțin: 80% (Aduți), 80% (Copii), 60% (Vulnerabili), 70% (Sieteme)

      Dacia Duster se prezintă astfel:
      4 stele la categoria Protecția pasagerilor adulți (70% din puncte)
      5 stele la categoria Protecția pasagerilor copii (84% din puncte)
      5 stele la categoria Protecția categoriilor vulnerabile din trafic (60%)
      3 stele la categoria Sisteme de siguranță (57%).
      In concluzie sta destul de bine la protectia pasagerilor (4*)!si protectia copii (5*), dar este penalizata de sistemele de siguranta - gen conducere autonoma, franare automata.. chestii mai sofisticate pt care treb sa platesti oricum mai mult la orice masina.. exigentele cresc de la an la an si.. o sa fii surprins, dar sunt si vor fi si marci cu pretentii mai mari (mai scumpe) cu 3*.. suzuki swift de ex - tot 3 a luat

      Where are you from ? Prices for the cars that you mention are bigger compared to Duster. I mean - same options… do not take a Duster the full option and compare it with entry option of other brand. So.. tell me where (which country) the price of what you had mentioned is cheaper please

    • @jurajrabcan2053
      @jurajrabcan2053 Před měsícem

      @@luckyjames007 I have been comparing various cars and have found some interesting pricing differences. The Mazda CX-30, with a similar level of equipment, ranges from €24,000 to €36,000. In comparison, the best-equipped Dacia Duster, which matches the €28,800 automatic CX-30, costs €27 270 €. When I configured the Škoda Karoq, the price came to €31,000.
      However, the standout option is the Kia XCeed. It is a superior car, and the 7 DCT automatic model is priced at €27,790. I am from Slovakia, and all these cars, within the price range of the hybrid version, offer better equipment (headlights, audio systems, etc.) and features that the Duster does not even offer. The Duster starts at €17,800, but if you choose a different color, you must upgrade to the next level, which suddenly increases the price to €21,000.
      The NCAP result for the Duster was satisfactory in 2017; however, it is not exceptional. Even the Renault Captur scored 5 stars and is now priced similarly to the Duster in Slovakia, making it an obvious choice for me. The price difference between the Duster and better-built cars is now only 10%-15%, which I believe is not justified. Additionally, in Slovakia, Dacia has one of the worst leasing plans, so leasing a Duster may end up costing more than the aforementioned cars.
      These examples are just a few from my research, and I have not checked all available brands, but I hope this conveys my concerns regarding the Duster.

    I don't know. I see that in your test without pushing the engine u can't do below 5l/100 km. I think that the average can be above 7l with mix consuption in city road and highway. I dont think its a good consumption. Its average i guess. And then we have the 3 stars rating EURONCAP.
    Its a good looking car without a doubt but then we have the maintenance of a normal petrol motor and the eletric parts.
    I don't see where its going to be cheaper to run that a EV.
