    Subcortical (lacunar) strokes
    - pure motor: C/L hemiparesis: ∵ ischemic damage to posterior limb of internal capsule (whihc carrises corticospinal and cortibulbar
    - pure sensory: C/L numbness: ∵ ischemic damage to thalamus (Thenthory = thalamus, processes sensory informaiton)
    - sensorimotor: C/L both

    confused by the first graphic- anterior, middle, and posterior MCA; these deficits covered in the video cover completely different vessels (ACA, MCA, and PCA); was this a graphic typo or am I just overthinking this? lol
