- pure motor: C/L hemiparesis: ∵ ischemic damage to posterior limb of internal capsule (whihc carrises corticospinal and cortibulbar
- pure sensory: C/L numbness: ∵ ischemic damage to thalamus (Thenthory = thalamus, processes sensory informaiton)
- sensorimotor: C/L both
