      @@joshturner9766 Hi. Get yourself an FAC application form online from your local Police. Complete the form for the type or rifle you need, don’t forget to add a moderator on a separate line as you cannot just add one without it on a slot on your licence. The form will also ask you why you want an FAC and what land / permissions you have to shoot it on. On each line entry show you shoot pests vermin and importantly ALQ any legitimate quarry. This avoids the definition of pest and vermin. Pop it in the post to you local fire arms officer who’s address will be on the form. Then await a visit from the fire arms officer. You will need a gun cabinet which will need bolting to a wall. Don’t bolt it before the FAO has visited as he may suggest the best place to fit it. He will give you an interview and if all well and good he will grant you an FAC licence. Once you receive it you can then buy your new FAC and moderator. Good luck. Steve

      Wow that’s a whole lot of work in order to be allowed an air rifle!! That’s more than it takes to get an actual firearm here in USA.. No live meetings with an officer who decides based on interview wether or not to grant you permission! I’m surprised that’s what it takes in order to obtain anything over 12ft/lbs in the UK! Makes sense now that I understand as to why I see most people in the UK opting for the low power options as to not have to deal with the hassle especially if all they have are airguns! If someone has firearms already I suppose it would not seem as bad but hopefully you guys get the laws changed in regards to airguns because you are missing out on a lot of the benefits of not having to monitor your fpe and most guns out now have the power adjustment wheels to dial in projectiles to an fps that gives it the smallest groups/best accuracy. Having to worry if you are above the legal limit is very limiting on your ability to properly tune your rifles and especially for larger caliber guns I suppose those are really out of the question!? I wonder if the law has led to a decrease in whatever crime or safety concerns they are put in place to address in the first place compared with the US that does not have the same restrictions?? I am sure someone has looked into this but I’d be very interested to hear what benefits if any has come from having these seemingly excessive restrictions/regulations in place?

    Hi Airbuks, I appreciate your review, and I left the same comments on another CZcamsr creator, however my experience with these magazines are not what I expected. I bought two of them in 0.22 for my FX Wildcat MK3, the finish and quality are clearly very good and well built, very smooth while cycling the cocking lever, however there is a big caveat here. When you open the lid and load slugs or pellets, when you try to put the lid back on, it never seats flush properly because one or another pellet or slug is misaligned inside the magazine, then you spend a lot of time trying to fiddle here and there to close the lid, which sometimes takes a few minutes...sometimes after spending a few minutes unsuccessfully trying to close it, I just force it down, and the back of some pellets or slugs get damaged, which surely will impact on their flying aerodynamics.
    Since I am not getting paid or sponsored by any company, I say how it really is, I have another 2 aluminium FX magazines, which are perfect, they load through a single hole on the acrylic transparent window flawlessly every time all the time.
    I thought having those "Square" CNC black good looking magazines would be a nice thing....specially after some people "gave good reviews about it", but in practice, if you are not willing to spend 3 to 5 minutes trying to close the lid on the god damn magazine, do not bother buying this one, buy the Aluminium FX one, which does not look too bad either, and it is as smooth as this Eaglevision one. That is my truly unbiased quick overview of my purchase...I hope this helps other people before they buy it, later on they will find the same issue....by the way, on the 0.22 version there is no way of loading with the lid on, you do have to open it.

    • @siagizmobass386
      @siagizmobass386 Před 2 lety

      He showed at the end of the video how to load it with the lid on. Looks like you have to put the pellet or slug into the one hole that is where the live round goes and you move it after each pellet rather than spinning the wheel counter clockwise all the way and inserting the pellet to hold it in place. Hopefully that makes sense what I said but if you’re trying to just load them with the lid on it won’t work unless you put them in the one open slot every time and then move the wheel one space to get the next slot lined up for loading. Doesn’t seem to be too much longer than the normal way of loading and it is how other mags are loaded normally anyways.

      They do not close the lid well...see my comments above, I spent on two of them in .22, not cheap at all...I can say that I cannot recommend this product due to difficulties closing the lid, not very practical. If you load your magazine at home, with lots of time available to do that, and spend a few minutes to try to close the lid, that is fine, but once you fire those 18 rounds in 0.22, then you will have the same problem over and over again....no way of quick "loading" (closing) them.

    Based on this video I purchased two of these magazines in .30 caliber at the retail price of 149.99 USD each. I am unhappy with them for two reasons: First, when filled with pellets it is impossible to put the magnetic cover on, which means it must be loaded one at a time. Second, the numbering system is confusing and I can't tell how many shots have been fired or how many shots are remaining. Please get one of these in .30 cal. and see how the cover will not go on even with 44.75 grain pellets, and also explain how to use this numbering system. By making this video you are endorsing this product so please make sure it works properly for us. On the plus side they do cycle flawlessly in my rifle, so don't bother about a refund... I will just get used to single loading them.

    • @Airbuks
      @Airbuks  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Charles , I am sorry if the information in my video has not been correct for all the different calibers . I have these magazines in .22 and .25 caliber.
      Both of them work perfectly with pellets .
      What I did notice when making the video is that longer pellets or slug fan outward and the magnetic cover is difficult to get on , but I tried to explain this in the video and showed a workaround by single loading them .
      I will take a look at the numbering system since I never really look at it.
      I am using these magazines since I got them and they have always worked without any problems using pellets , slugs feed also good with the downside of single loading them.
      I will contact Eagle vision and tell them the issue and if he wants to refund your magazines
