NOTE :
As for now the matching pellet probe is only available for the FX Impact . In the future the Crown and Dreamline should be available as well.
The transferport itself as metioned in the video can be used for every FX Airguns barrel on the Impact , Crown and Dreamline.

After watching all the video’s on the disassembly and assembly of the FX Impact I can see why this Airgun is expensive , it requires a lot of labor and precision to put it together ! Did you have a small gap (or small amount of play) in the area of the first oring you removed between the barrel and transfer port? I do on my stock .30 arrangement
The oring slot that is closest to the barrel sleeve is a touch wider then the one closest to the breech I believe 🤔 but it should close nicely against the each other ( sleeve and tp )
Hi , since there is some air restriction with Factory FX Transfer port , when we use the Huma one do we get more power WITHOUT decreasing total shots count ? thank you so much
If you leave the settings exactly the same you will get more power and a few less shots , reason is that the TP lets more air true the barrel in the short moment the valve is open . But by adjusting the settings you can lower your regulator setting and hammerspring to get the same velocity and power and gain some shots.

No , it can even increase your shot count because of the better airflow you can reduce the reg pressure and gain a few extra shots while keeping the same speed
Does the new impact compact MK2 have an upgraded transfer port? I heard many of the internals were upgraded like the valving and airflow? I am mainly going to shoot pellets but wondering if changing to the Huma upgrades is necessary?

Congratulations on the Video, very educational! I need your help with a tip! I have an FX Impact X, I installed an internal power plenum and I have it in caliber .22 .25 and .30 in length 700 ... I am interested in buying this accessory from Huma ... here comes the doubt: considering that I already have power plenum Do I tend to think that the greatest benefit should be in buying this accessory, looking to give it all the power to move the largest caliber? My favorite caliber is 22 but I think that any benefit of installing this port and probe is marginal since it would be solved with the Power Plenum ... right? between .25 and .30 which do you think should receive this accessory (considering the ballistic curve, weight and everything that affects the shot in these calibers) I hope you help me since I have in the HUMA shopping cart this product to waiting to lean on what caliber, greetings

Fist question is if you shoot only pellets or also slugs ?
If you shoot only pellets the impact with power plenum is designed to do this perfectly so not really beneficial unless you want max power then every little bit can help .
If you like to shoot slugs you will need to push a lot of air behind it and the Huma tp lets more air true then the oem. So then I would install them on everything.
I use them on all my calibers also for a another reason , I like the best accuracy not the most power or FPS. Thx to the Huma tp I can keep the reg pressure lower and still keep the speed and therefore have a less violent shot with beter harmonics , beter accuracy .

@@Airbuks Thanks for the kindness in responding, also very fast ... I have seen and tested the virtues of slugs (HUBEN K1 with Slovenian MP molds which I make at home) ... I prefer slugs! unfortunately FX hybrid slugs are expensive ... I always search and google for mold options compatible with the FX Impact magazine. At the moment you resolved my question and I will begin to renew my ports and probes with HUMA. Thank you very much !!!
Yes I know, I wish the hybrids were cheaper. But unfortunately I don’t have the time to make some myself, but if you find a good working mold that makes FX mag compatible slugs let me know 😉 .

bij een .30 dreamline met cilinder ,heb ik ook de huma reg met de 30 cc plenum en fx plenum(47 cc extra) plus de dual flow ,en met de reg op100 bar en transfer port op 17 .22 en hamer spring druk lager gezet heb ik nu 50 schoten (tot reg druk)die de 22lr swinger(caldwell) op 50 meter met grote kracht zeker omleggen ,waar die met een normale magnum springer alleen klinken ,alleen de hatsan carnivore 135 .30 kan het ook maar niet zo gemakkelijk wegens de enorme zuiger en veer(krijg daar zelfs nog een .299 79 grain slug uit ) .
trouwens de fx fabriek zegt/ adviseert ,de snelheid verhogen kan maar beter is om meer schoten na te streven op lagere reg druk.want voor de pellets is meestal 800 tot 850fps het best wegens de precise of nog lager ,2
bij sommige kalibers ,de kleinere dan .30 helpt het ook om de orginele probe doorgang te vergroten.want anders helpt de dual flow niet veel, je kan de probe en dual poort vooraf buiten de montage bekijken door de probe in de dual flow te steken en zie je rvs van de probe dat zit in de weg .mvg peter
Hi , idd de ideale snelheid voor een pellet ligt rond de 880 FPS maar soms moet je hem kunnen tunen voor meer power als je Bevoordeeld slugs wil schieten .
En de probe is idd een belangrijk punt daarom heeft Huma nu een aangepaste probe in de kit gestoken 😉
@@Airbuks die probe kreeg ik er toen niet bij .was er nog niet denk ik. ok mvg p tussen haakjes ,de mondingssnelheid is ook niet het belangrijkst ,hoe gaat de pellet down range om met de startsnelheid, bijv pellet gaat dwarrelen na een bepaalde afstand wegens de instabilliteit die er bij de start inkwam ,en die door de rotatie in de klauw gehouden werd.en die rotatie nam af door de geringe massa van het pellet

No not that I recall, I know the oring has some more room that the second one , but there should be no gap between the brass and steel 🤔
I have a gap on my 30cal stock barrel. I have removed barrel from gun, obviously, but I haven't monkeyed with liners or anything else. Now I'm curious, I haven't had it long and bought it new. Have you found out anything new?
What was your reg pressure on the second test, also you didnt re-install the small inner O ring.
The reg pressure is the same in both tests , i specially did this to show what this TP can do without any other adjusments .
The inner oring comes installed in the Huma air TP so there is didn't forget to install it . I believe i even mention this in the video that it comes installed .

Hey guys" got a question or two! I got a FX Crown, I watched this video 10x or more and had no problem installing the Transfer Port but got no real bump up in speed! Do I have to have the Pellet probe to complete the system? He doesn't cover that. I bought the transfer port without the probe...
Hi there , yes you need the pellet probe aswel to complete the system.
Indeed maybe I didn’t sad that in the video 🤔 I assumed that it always came with the probe 😬
If you are using the original probe the smaller hole in the probe becomes your limiting factor. Also remember you will have to retune your gun after installing it .

The pellet probe is a big part of this system in fact this part is is useless without it. It was not clear that this was needed, it’s not stated on the HUMA website or your video that a probe was needed! I’ve put the transfer port on, is my rifle waisting air by having a larger hole? Why would anyone sell something that’s incomplete & there’s no word when if ever they will make the additional probe!

Hi , you can use it if you have the slug power kit of FX aswel . You can buy the TP of Huma with and without the probe .
When I made the video at that time the probe was only available for the impact as of now they also make the probe for the Dreamline.
But by using only the TP your gun is not waisting air . If you don’t want to spend the extra cost you can also modify the original probe to match the TP

Hi Airbuks, hope you're keeping well and safe. I need your advice and help please. I've now followed (since one of our earlier conversations) and installed a Huma dual transfer port on my .22 FX Impact MkII with power plenum and 700mm Superior STX barrel. However, my velocity as measured before (single port) and after (dual port) remain identical which means the addition of a Huma 2-port has not helped increase velocity! My setup is 17.2mm on the power wheel for max setting, reg. pressure of 115bars and 4th line on the airflow valve. Could you please give me some idea as to what to try by way of power wheel and reg. pressure adjustments? At present, both 1-port and 2-port settings give identical 900ft/s with H&N 25 grain slugs and I'm hoping to find the optimum setting (so without wasting air) to increase my velocity from 900 to say 950ft/s to improve the accuracy of H&N slugs. No, I've not installed the probe! I tried every combination yesterday and I could not get any improvement in velocity. I was at my wits end and got fed up! I've currently got the rifle set as: reg p. 130bars, airflow valve 4th line, power wheel gap 15.6mm (set on max - this is almost the smallest gap achievable). I am getting with H&N 25grn slugs 940FPS average. With the same settings as above and the FX original single port I was getting 935-940FPS average. so I've not improved FPS performance. I look forward to your view and any ideas.

So not having the probe to match the transferport is your problem .
If you use the original probe the air transfer is still restricted because the whole in the probe is still the original size . You can buy the one from Huma that matches or modify your original one with a dremel if your a bit handy

I have a Dremel but I don't have the confidence! and I think perhaps I should retain the original FX probe just in case. I have the Slug power kit installed on my Impact... will it be a good match with / make sense to install the Dual Air Flow Transfer port ? Would greatly appreciate your advice.

I install the Huma regulator and the dual hole transfer port and pellet probe of huma and i shoot with my impact .30 the nielsen slugs 49.5 grains at 1070fps very easy !!

EDIT: NOTE! This transfer port does NOT fit FX Wildcat 2. It is the same diameter but longer and has a sort of flange sticking out at the breach end. The Wildcat 2 port is slightly shorter and is flat at the breach end.

What besides adding fps does this improve? Does adding this cause more air from your tank to be used?
Now it doesn’t use more air . The purpose of this transferport is to eliminate the restriction of airflow when you want to push pellets or slugs fast . For instance you crank your reg up to 160bar , hammerspring on max and valve wide open . Now when the hammer strikes the valve a huge amount is being released and has to rush tru the small oem transferport whole , the diameter of this smaller whole deterrence how much air can pass and the max FPS wil be reached . Now Huma has created a much bigger whole 48% in .22 cal so more air can pass at the same time and result in higher Max FPS and therefore use less air but still maintain the same speed or shoot heavier slug at the speed you want . Hopefully my explanation makes sense 🤞🏻

Hi, did you do this upgrade for shooting pellets or only to shoot slugs. I changed mine for slugs in my dreamline but i cannot get the slugs to group so I'm going back to pellets. Is it ok to leave this TP and probe in for pellets
I would change to a pellet probe with larger opening ( like Huma ) and leave the dual port 👍🏻

@@fiestamans hi maybe my explanation was confusing. I would use a pellet probe with a opening to match the transfer port ( if you want to shoot pellets ) if you use the pin probe the pellets won’t seat deep enough into the barrel . The pellets have a skirt with a cup and so the pin won’t push them deep enough , slugs have a very shallow skirt .
The dual transferport can be used for both pellets and slugs 👍🏻

Great video. I god your transfer port and installed it on my FX crown mki2and the pin probe. My problem is I now cannot get my barrel returned to the key position. It needs to return a millimetre or so more but I cannot see what is causing the barrel to key in. Any help would be appreciated appreciate d
🤔 hi mate , I have never installed this in a crown ( I just have one 😉) but have you compared the groove in the brass piece with the original to see if they have the same length

Yes the key on the huma air is not as deep as the original FX transfer port. So it's back to the FX transfer port. I wish huma air would have better information on the fitting. It's advertised as fitting the crown but it certainly does not fit mine

I have been using it for pellets and slugs and I don’t notice any difference in accuracy.
Just use the pin probe for slugs and a matching pellets probe for pellets

I think my dual-hole transfer port is too large (the dual-hole) because my slugs stuck/bump in the hole so many times now, i even change the huma slug pin, pellets pin, and slugs power kits matt dubber edition, and even change the magzin all same result and even with single loading... Dont know what to do anymore

@@biakmawia those are tiny short slugs , I have heard magazine issues with those but not in the transferport 🤔 have you tried heavier longer slugs ? Just to see if you get the same issue

Dumb question here but couldn't you just use the existing hole in the transfer port as a guide and drill through the other side 180degrees out?.

It is orientation dependant. You would need to enlarge the existing hole, but the reason they have the bar down the middle is to stop pellets / slugs getting stuck. Ernest Rowe has a transfer port with a hole a 180 and it can be turned to give you a sub 12
For 10-20fps more? I don't think it's worth the upgrade or the hassle..Jmo! You can get more fps without the modifications. There is a video from 101 airguns or 901 that shows how to adjust the fps just by adjusting the regulator and hammer spring.
Hi thx for the comment , the point that I am showing in the video is that with only changing the transferport to the Huma one without touching the regulator or Hs you already gain 20fps , once you properly tune it for high power you can gain 80-100 FPS extra .( I have tested this last week ) The Huma transferport is designed to be used when you have tuned your gun especially to shoot slug with high reg pressure and let’s the big amounts of air transfer much better

Hi Thomas , are you shooting sub 12 ft ? This mod is especially for FAC airguns and needs tuning to high reg pressure and hammerspring to show its potential
@@Airbuks i am shooting at the factory settings of an FAC dreamline. With transfer port and hammer spring maxed out, reg at 100 bar, i get 865 fps with JSB heavies. 500 mm barrel. Caliber is .22
What settings do you suggest?
Thomas if you look closely at my video I am running my reg at 145bar /HS at Max (16.75mm ) and transferport at 25/30 . This settings give me around 980fps . That’s what I meant by tuning and running at higher pressure. The TP of Huma eliminates the restriction of air flow true the TP , if you run low reg pressure at 100bar you will not see anything different in results. This is because you are not pushing a lot of air true the TP and therefore the TP is not you limiting factor to achieve higher FPS
In the example I am also using a 500mm barrel in .22 the impact is a 600mm .25
