Flue Pipe being used as DRYER VENT??!!

That's not a flue pipe. The camera is too far away so you can't tell if it may possibly be tied into a flue pipe where penetrates the roof, but the horizontal part is just regular round ductwork, with a boot on the end. That would have never met code as a flue pipe.

Would that not require at minimum a booster fan, even if it’s a bad idea to put it through the flue pipe? Because the hot moist air will condense before making it outside , and cause dripping etc?

why should the dryer vent in attic be insulated? it's not an air duct with cool/heat. I'm just curious, thanks!
