Excellent Work! Thanks a lot! ✌🏻📷
You're very welcome. 🙏🏽
Awesome!
Thank you!
Thanks for this video. Some nice images there.
Hey! Thanks for watching. I appreciate the kind words too 🙏🏻
Thank you for your inspirational courage! It’s relieving to know not every shot has to be a banger. I try to record my outings too but I always get too distracted. Currently using larger OM-D camera because my smaller one died. Two primes, a hip bag and I’m G2G. What do you use for audio? Which software for editing? Could you see yourself making a living with photography?
Thanks for watching!!! You have a lot of dope gear. In terms of audio, I use the ZOOM H1n. 👍🏽 lightroom for editing. I've been freelance/ small biz since 2013. It's what I do. Some yrs are better than others. I love street! How about you?
Like the customization, had not done many customs as I have mostly done raw+post porcess in lightroom, but the idea of just doing jpg and accepting what comes out of the camera is so tempting - must be a lot of time saving :) Do you still post process much, or just go with what you get as is mostly?
Great question! I USED TO LOVE LIGHTROOM! Loved it. But over time, I was editing too much, too long with no real growth. So, I started saving some of the edits I really liked and they became my "PRESETS". Once I got my hands on a GR II in (2017) I viewed editing differently.
Now, I feel the most I adjust is minimal nudges for shadow, mids and highlights. As well, I still shoot RAW + JPEG which actually gives me MORE confidence to shoot jpeg. I truly believe every pic needs a tweak, that's just the nature or being artistic. Each pic will always need a nudge but I've trained myself to not need so much from an edit. Organize as much as I can in-camera with my settings so I'm not too surprised or disappointed with any result.
Thanks for watching!!
@@tahaphoto Thanks for the taking the time to explain, that really helps. would be amazing if there was a way to get the tweaked JPG settings in camera as a raw profile in lightroom, but if you can get it mostly right in camera with the jpg, then I guess that is all that matters, will give it a shot!
Hello from the Isle of Skye Taha - Another great Video...
That recipe is wickedly good and performs so well in bright sunshine. I Would love to hear your thoughts on creating a recipe to get close to the styles of Daido Moriyama & Tatsuo Suzuki style of shooting...
Thank you for all your time and effort that you put into your channel and the free recipe info' too....
Wilko! Thanks for watching and for the warm words of encouragement. Those humans are legendary, each with a style all their own. I would be hard pressed to recreate what they do. I've taken elements from both their styles and tried to incorporate it into my Recipes (GRIT CITY II BW) but it's almost a little too contrasty for me. Overall, they both have a unique storytelling angle that adds to their contrast and tone selections. It's easier to be a fan on the sidelines.😊🖤 What are some of your favourite effects on the GR? As well, who are some of your favourite, little known photographers?🙏🏽
@@tahaphoto I'm currently using as my main setting GRIT CITY II BW, as the contrast is just perfect and in strong light situations the recipe works a treat.
I'm also rocking the Soul Searching recipe, as in the right situations you get an Ernst Haas / Saul Leiter vibe. You are right re: being a fan on the sidelines of famous photographers - i'll never get close to work they threw away ...
Looks like mid-contrast to me :) I was doing it high with Ilford 5 and 6 filters under enlarger on resign coated, multi-grade paper. Glossy one, it seems to increase the contrast. Due to the gloss it was like deep and glow bw ...After quit on bw in the darkroom, I got Ricoh GRD original, they say it is filmish BW digital, but I haven't inhaled it yet. Just as earlier on with M8 BW, seems to be just as overrated. While in Amsterdam on pervious weekend, I went to Marine Museum. They had some but and known photog prints from bw negatives exposed in fifties/sixties and some later on scans on pigment inks. Where was one, back in sixties fiber print, with perfect exposure for film and under enlarger. The light and else was like on Rembrandt's Night Watch. Next to artificial. :)
Kostya! Always good to hear from you, I learn so much in one comment. lol I hope you're well! I notice that when spring comes along, I want to shoot more film. I look forward to doing that very soon.btw, I've heard good things about the Ricoh GRD original. I would like to test it for sure. Cheers!
Another channel with photos with no context. No geometry and no vision.
Peace. The context is right there in front of you. Vision is subjective. Please share your work with us all.🙏🏽😊
CZcams is full of them. It's just content for the creators. I don't think they actually care about the quality of photos.
