Living on a yacht in the Bahamas is a dream for many, but for the next owner of "Island Time" it can become a reality. This reasonably priced and well proportioned yacht offers an opportunity to either run a successful live-aboard charter business or simply kick back and enjoy a little Island Time on your own luxury yacht! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I've been watching so many of these super high end yacht videos I thought "only $995,000 !!" and started rummaging around my pockets for spare change, thinking "I'll take 2."
Fabulous refit guys! I remember when the old version hit the market.

But cost really 995.000 dollar?
Hahaha right? Same here! Lol
At the cost of real estate, this looks like a great live aboard...jmo
In this day & age very good .. But this boat is poorly fitted
Gotta wonder why all the outdoor tables are covered with cloth. This is a good indication the wood underneath needs to be replaced. There should be removable safety railing on the deck where the deck chairs are and toys/ tender go. If not, somebody’s going over. You can tell she doesn’t have a stabilizer while underway bc she rocks too much side to side. The mirror in the galley behind the seating area is a fire hazard. All you need is a nice sunrise/ sunset in the right direction and something is going to burn. It may be under a mil, but believe me, you will be putting a lot of money into it. And try getting insurance for it. The age of the boat and the size are both factors that will leave you with maybe one insurance company who wants to carry you. The deductible will be very high, the coverage very low, and the cost goes way up every year- if they don’t drop you… which they constantly will. So many things to consider- Are there any issues with electrical? Lighting- halogen or LED? The wrong lighting can heat up a boat and be a fire hazard-and it’s super expensive to replace. Plumbing? Wiring? AC systems? How often do you need to clean barnacles out of the AC strainers? Don’t think your survey guy is going to catch everything. Fuel costs, marina costs, cost of captain and crew? And that jacuzzi is just throwing her out of balance. Hate to burst your bubble, but I’ve lived aboard a beautiful 80’ yacht for four years. I love it! But it’s a lot of work and a lot of expense. We bought ours in “Excellent” condition. Just had her appraised (bc insurance made us… another few thousand out the window.) and she appraised once again in “excellent” condition and $300,000 higher than our purchase price- but we have redone almost everything and worked very hard and learned a ton. She is our home. Just be aware when you watch these videos that almost none of these guys that make them- or these brokers, have ever lived aboard long enough to know what the real issues and expenses are. We have done (foster ministry charity) charters, and yes, you can do this, but to do it right, again, it takes a lot of work. That’s the real scoop.
Hell don't buy it then. A good surveyor will find most of what you mentioned. The mirror thing you mentioned was ridiculas and untrue. You presented your opinion not necessarily the truth.
The most Excellent reviews and in depth information love your comment 👏👏👏💕🇧🇭💕
@@kokomo9764 He couldn’t buy it because he has no money. He owes people money all over the place! A real scrounger!!!

OMG are you for real take it you’ve just done a HSE course online and now a safety expert 😂
One day I will full time liveaboard one of these Broward yachts. They're the perfect, budget, liveaboard, from the research I've done.
You can keep live bait real happy for weeks in that jacuzzi. Happy bait = bigger fish. Bigger fish = larger tournament prize money, no need to charter.
Hi David. Whenever i hear of Broward i always think of Bob Denison. This is a lot of yacht for under 1 million. Perfect for a tropical island retreat. Looking forward to the "how to" series again. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊
Chris, I came to post the same thing, precisely. This is a TON of boat for 1 mil USD, if I hadn't acquired an interest in a similar length but newer yacht myself last year, I'd be in the running for this one. I'd change a few little things, but overall, it would take VERY little to make this boat exactly how I'd like it - the refresh was done very, very well IMO, and that kitchen is a huge selling point. The master stateroom is well, it's HUGE for a 110ft, and the "L" shape is somewhat unique and in my case, very desirable. I'd love to see this cabin in lower light conditions/dark, with the underlit bed/etc. I'll be sending 2 people I know that are in the market to this video. Very well done tour as per usual!
The eventual plan for my spouse and I is to have a live on yacht in the Caribbean, while that plan is still about 10 years till fruition we are beginning to formulate an idea of what's involved and an older but well maintained and very spacious yacht like this with a warm homey feel to it is very much what I'll be looking at. Thanks for adding another option to my eventual short list with this make and model.
Definitely have a look at the Fleming series of yachts. They are excellent in every way and the customer service is the absolute best bar none
There is an entire series of videos of a Fleming 65 traveling the entire northern hemisphere.
Good luck bud, our dream too.👍
Thanks, David, you're the ultimate presenter, without you, the yacht presentation and the yacht itself would never have been complete, best regards.
Well said, I have been following him for years, he has an unique way to deliver the details which eventually connect you more with the yacht
Nice to see you present a more affordable yacht
If I had the means I'd buy this yacht and I'd live on it in the Bahamas. I only live about 100 miles from the Grand Bahamas, but really wished I was about 99-1/2-miles closer. lol.
Does she have crew quarters? What's the engine room like? Please don't skip these areas -- they're important!
My thoughts too!!
It's a pretty lame video for a person hoping for any important information.
Wow, awesome yacht. I could see myself there on one of the decks watching a sunset.
one of the best for the prices i have seen
I LIKE THE WAY THE HULL IS BUILT AS IT IS MENTIONED!!!
Just beautiful!
I actually like this way more than the 12.5 mil usd yacht you showcased the other day.
Looks like a 70's California home but the price is right!
Nice boat. I like that the hot tub is in the cockpit -- at least as a charter yacht -- for the sake of the stability of the yacht.
I think this would be the perfect yacht to give yacht ownership a try before moving up to a larger and more luxurious yacht. It is certainly in my price range.
Agreed
This is the first yacht I have seen which acknowledges that the purpose of a yacht is play, relaxation and recreation - not competition to see who can spend the most money. I would not care to have white couches, however. In time, loose dye from dark trousers makes light-colored upholstery look dingy.
BEAUTIFUL BOAT !
The trick to ownership is the charter side of it. If you owned it outright and did 15 charters at 10k per you would cover the operating expense. If you had to cover the mortgage that's another story.
I'd LOVE this.. great size & price..
That's why I'd buy used
I really like that they've rid themselves of all the dark wood that Browards were known for. It has a bright airy interior that looks very relaxing.
So much more to this yacht. It’s a virtual nightmare for someone who can just afford it. The hidden expenses are through the roof.
I like that one. Nice tour through this one David. I would have loved to seen the rear lazarette and storage area just to get an idea of size, just how much Dive gear (compressor?) room there was, etc. I guess I just have to wait for the Lotto to come through. 🤣 Some of the editing could have been slower, but Well done nonetheless.
Appears to be the most affordable yacht I've ever seen 😎👍
It's a lot cheaper than new yachts half its size.
The downside is crew salaries and maintenance. It's not $1m. That's just a down payment...
@@darthkek1953 I remember reading that the definition of the word yacht is: A hole in the water that you throw money into.

Just drive it slow and take care of it like it’s an Rolls Royce bc that is exactly what it is, a jewel.

Impressive yacht for the price and really good review.
Great video, we need more like this where the vessels are actually quite possible to afford🙏
It's not the price of the cattle it's the cost of the hay. It is a lot of boat for under $1m, and many people could likely aspire to affording the vessel itself, but a yacht this size needs a crew, and I would bet the operating cost on this would be on the order of $150-200k/yr.
@@flacjacket I agree to a point but there’s ways around not having a crew if you have been on the water for years and know what your doing also you can charter to make some of the running cost back.
@@lukeroberts5501 a 110 foot yacht triggers the Large Yacht Code so you won't be flagging it in a US or Red Ensign state the French one, or any of the other major ones. You might find some Black List flag state that'll not look too closely but you can expect boardings from Port States.
@@lukeroberts5501 that said if you're QUALIFIED then you will be golden. The crew complement is 4. I'm assuming one qualified captain and one qualified engineer is required.
Can't beat that for the price.
Looking very nice...
Good job David
Perfect for trips
I'd get rid of that hot tub. Other than that, awesome boat. Great video.
what al is Typically done during a "Refit"? How often are engines rebuilt/replaced on yachts and how does that effect the price of a yacht?
I will never understand why boat sellers that make these videos neglect to mention nautical mile capability.
It won't last long on the market at that price, some lucky fool will buy it, damn, wish I could, just spacious & beautiful👍✌️
Very nice looking and great value. If I sold my house...I could afford this....but I couldn't afford my wife though...one would have to go. : )
😅😅😅🤣🤣
Buy this boat and there will be a long line of "future wives"..
Very cool
6 am notification. not a bad way to wake up
If it wasn’t for the fact we’re in the middle of building our new home I would inquire. It’s actually perfect for my size family.
What’s the mechanical and electrical like…Do a sequel on those…😎
Would had been nice to see the crew quarters, engine room etc?
Another nice boat that I can't afford. I can't afford this one a little less, though.
Clean
Can you finance something like this or is it all cash? What percent?
I'm about to walk across the street and ask the people in their new 3 million home if they were pre-qualified? If not, I'll announce immediately that I'm taking over at the helm, everyone else walk the driveway plank, only the -cook- wife can stay.
Can't be a huge profit margin if she was refit in 2018 with a hull paint and skid surfaces in 2017. A lot of boat for $1 million. Although not much info on dual engines and redundant mechanical systems, still...even throwing another 1/2 mill in her it's still a lot'a yacht'a.
Where's the interior helm during rough weather?
Whole lotta boat for under a million. 😎
Does this suitable in Indonesia weather, more wave in the rainy
Add the latest GARMEN electronics package and engine cameras.

"Island Time?" That's the name of my Schooner. And it's 'documented,' too. Now, I'm wondering how many "Island Time's" are on the USCG documentation list.
You make us think you”recon island time, but you have no way to do so. Your job is to convince of us who can to do so. The kitchen awesome
They should give you the yacht...as annual costs will be 2 to 3M
Can it go transatlantic??
We booked to travel to uk
No engine room? Excellent boat, but if it was so profitable in Bahamas why the selling?
Hot tub is on the bridge or not at all that's like having a hot tub at the dock with everyone looking I'd get it on the sun deck or not at all
Hmm, a yacht that is actually in price range, but I really dislike the design. Could you please cover Bering yachts, it’s my goal to get one within 3 years!
Hi Dylan, Bering Yachts contacted me a little while ago, but We haven’t set a date to film yet. Watch this space though.
@@Yachtsforsaleblog a great news! I can’t wait for it!
There so far has been one video on CZcams that that covered a Bering 65 from 2013, but I would rather have a video of higher quality with you in it. Also I am very interested in the bigger one that was launched not to long ago, the 77!
As far as I know Bering yachts is one of the only ones that has such an incredible range for these boat sizes!
Look at the CZcams channel called NautiStyles. They have quite a few videos of Bering yachts including one being filmed right now. Well worth the time. Cheers mate
I'll be ahead of my old self 😂 I like it I would love to have a conversation with i about change

Why didn’t they show the interior of the forward area?
There was no room to see anything as they have an old style seakeeper forward comprised of 125 slight people quickly moving back and forth over each other. You can see in the drone shots the rolling of the ship in calm water is because the people were taking a break.
@@Dobermanator The rolling was definitely noticeable in that shot, and that was in calm waters. Built 1991 so no gyro stabilisers on this one I suspect!
Great video. What year was she built ? You might consider placing that important information in the the description box as I believe "qualified buyers/ investors" would appreciate it.
Hi Bruce, there is a link in the description that leads you to more details including the year.
Could you use this in the Med?
I would say yes but you would have to have it shipped there. I doubt it has the range and even if it did have 3,500 mile range it is to small to attempt such a voyage.
when are you going to start showing those Electric, Net Zero Yachts which are trans Atlantic worthy?
Trans atlantic and Yacht just don't go together unless accompanied by sail or sink.
@@triedproven9908 I don't think that is true - there is already Solar Sail boat which has already done the trip.
@@Soothsayer210 er... you just validated P Body's entire point with your "solar SAIL boat" comment, Scooter. And there is only ONE electric yacht that CLAIMS to be "ocean capable", and it's a 13m catamaran manufactured by Azura Marine. Oh, and it's never actually CROSSED any ocean before.

Available?
Two years ago she was for sale for US$ 1,690,000, what happened?
Probably an issue of competing against newer boats. Plus if she's been on the market for two years the owner must have realized the price was too high.
Obviously powered without a motor. Where is the motor room?
The polock sixteenth wifes version of a yard sale
20x110 talk about a pencil!
yeah, and the rolling was quite apparent... she could definitely use some horizontal stabilizers
I'm dreaming.
Hot tub looks like a DIY bodge job, could have blended it in so that it looks like it's a legitimate part of the boat
That surely was the fishing deck, this was a fishing yacht charter I'm betting. No business for it, so they threw in the hot tub in the wasted space, and you can't put it on the fly bridge, not with the amount of roll this thing has in calm waters (just look at the drone footage, it looks like this thing is in an Atlantic storm).
If you cannot own a large yacht to a very high standard, please do not own a large yacht. there are a lot of boats on the market that for a lack of a better term "hot potatoes" they get bought and sold with owners attempting to get away with not being the one to do anything expensive unless it breaks. i have no idea whether this boat falls under good deal or not she is gorgeous in an older, classic way, however i just thought of a great name for my next yacht, Due Diligence.
Should be called Rolly Polly...
This guy is such a smooth talker he reminds me of bill Clinton.
She appears to roll way too much 🥉
I like the coc pit
Seems like a lot of yacht for the money.

why is it only a million dollars?
Go to 2:20 ...take a closer look at that galley....
A yacht this size, that is cheap price. What is caveat?
Probably the engine room they didn’t show you lol

An oddly antiseptic and characterless interior . More like a half empty provincial furniture showroom . But i suppose this is reflected in the price
Yes, it does have a certain ode to pinesol'esk appearance doesn't it.
Highly functional & Robust*
I think it's the fact that it spends a ton of time as a charter. It's comfortable but replaceable furniture and appliances and treatments that are good enough. Honestly though, at that price it's an absolute bargain.
What does YOUR yacht look like, Justine... HUH?

You should not sit down, when you are going to present this ship, think about it, not in a picture either, but just tell what you are going to, absolutely do not sit down, it is a bad omen. think about this, one more is needed when you say that it is so long in feet, then take care to also say it in meters, as we here today use meters and kg.
