I this weber Enthusiast episode i will be unboxing the weber q rotisserie for the weber baby q.
Is the Weber Rotisserie worth the money
I appreciate the support for my channel so i can continue to provide you with free content.
It’s not until you see a Baby Q (Q1200) Premium roasting a whole chicken dinner outside a caravan that you know why the ‘baby’ Q is really the ideal travelling and camping barbecue. At home, out in the bush or down at the beach, the Baby Q gives you total flexibility.
I will be unboxing the weber baby q rotisserie and showing you how to assemble and fit the weber rotisserie to you weber baby q.
Whether you own a weber baby q or weber q , weber Genesis or Kettle.
The Weber Rotisserie is a great addition to your weber grill.
This model doesn't have any big weaknesses. The Weber Q 1200 heats up fast and grills quickly and evenly. It has porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grates that are a delight to cook on because they are non-stick, super easy to clean and maintain, and can even go in the dishwasher. The Q 1200 has a sweet, handy thermometer, and its 189 sq in of grilling space holds a surprisingly large amount of food. The Q would do well on your tailgate, on a picnic table, on your apartment patio, or as part of your RV setup. You do have to carry it in hand, and it is not super light. If you want a grill that is easy to cook on, easy to clean, and simple to light and maintain temperature control with, the Q could be the one for you
The Weber Q 1200 is a strong contender. Service, sales, and parts are widely available for this popular brand. Our experience with the Q 1200 was largely favourable.
You should certainly consider the Weber.
The Q 1200 has one stainless steel burner tube that delivers a claimed 8,500 BTU's. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly and leaves beautiful char marks. Cooking time on this grill was less than expected for such a small product.
    Control
The Q 1200 makes grilling simple and fun. Its push-button electronic ignition starts with just one press of the button every time. It has an infinite control burner valve that allows the flame to be adjusted to clear low, medium and high settings, and the built-in temperature gauge allows for even greater temperature control. This grill does cool down quickly when the lid is open though, so when you're doing your flipping, make it quick. The regulator is attached snugly, and the grease trap is large, easy to take on and off, and comes with a disposable (or reusable) aluminium insert.
At 31 pounds, this is heavy for a table top grill.
This grill has a cast aluminium lid and body which means no rusting or flexing, and a glass-reinforced nylon frame. This grill is sturdy and durable and will likely last a very long time.
This grill is simple to transport. You can grab it and put it in your boot and then place it on a picnic bench which is simple enough, but you do have to carry it in hand (vs. rolling something like the cart style grills in our test). It is closer to average weight., but that's including the rolling, cart style stand-alone versions we tested as well.
Weight is not an issue will the baby q.
The Q1200 runs off a 9kg Bottle of propane giving you over 45 hours of cooking time.
The Q's side tables fold inside for travel effortlessly, but you will want to make sure that it's completely cool before you do so they are made out of plastic and could melt. We wish this model came with a latch on the lid. The lid is heavy, so it doesn't do much moving around, but if you're going four-wheeling to get to your BBQ site, consider using a bungee cord.

That chook looks amazing and from the expression on your face it tasted supurb. The clean up doesn't sound like much fun though. I accessorised today with a weber meat thermometer and pizza stone. Off to find one of your vlogs on pizza in the weber.

I just got a rotisserie for Xmas while camping. Luckily I had an inverter for the 240v motor. I would love to see a battery powered alternative. Like a Makita or Dewalt drill battery adaptor.

@@WeberEnthusiast i didn't, i've been getting by with the supplied cast iron grill plates. I'm on the fence if i need them or not. Tonight i cooked a pair of Wagyu sirloin steaks 3 mins a side for med rare. The fat content made them light up a little which provided more than enough sear. Excellent result though. I watched your corn recipe too. Try celery salt on them. i've been to thailand and bali. they cook their corn over charcoal using coconut oil instead of butter and celery salt...so good.

This spring in South Australia the wind has been really bad and we can’t use our Q out doors, have you found a good way to protect from wind or a good wind guard that actually works
    Keep up the great work

We just had chicken tonight. With our smoker.yum that was good. That looks good also. Hard to beat chicken in my opinion of course. That rotisory looks like it works pretty good. Great video as always. That thing sounds pretty pricey.
