Cellular automata? Yeah...that is a wild algo. I find it amazing how it emulates the shapes and behaviours of natural systems yet without invoking chaos theory, fractals or a markov chain like form(or L-systems or whatever).
Cellular Automata and A* pathing still kinda amazes me.

Amazing guest, wonderful questions, beautiful dialog :)❤

I think we need to go back to r² and the three dimensional physics of the Inverse Square Law, even back to Huygens’ Principle of 1670. The Universe could be based on the most simple geometry 4πr² that forms the potential for evermore complexity. Forming not just physical complexity, but also the potential for evermore-abstract mathematics. It might be ‘cool’ but it stops us finding a fundamental theory.

What is this concept of reversibility being required for physics? You can't reverse what fire does to wood, therefore it's not how physics works?

The idea is 'if its true that fire is irreversible, the generation of a model of physics to explain this phenomena should not be found to be reversible.'
