  • The Federation of Australian Buddhist Councils was represented in a delegation lead by Ajahn Brahmavamso Thero for this majestic international event which was be held at the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism in Hyogo. Mr Kim Hollow (president) and Dr Jake Mitra (Secretary) will be part of the delegation.
    Congratulatory messages for this event were received by royalty and governments around the world. From Australia we were pleased to receive messages from the Australian Governor-General, the Australian Prime Minister, the Premeir of Queensland and others.

    I have visited this temple. The stone Arahats at the front gate are very vivid. These were sculptured in China as I was told. The Summit invited Buddhist from every parts of the world, even countries with very few Buddhist community. The only one which I think was intentionally excluded China. There were no monks from China (whether from the Mainland, Taiwan or HK) invited 🤔 Exclusivity and politics are not Buddha's teaching.🙏
