- Today we do a little aftermath maintenance on our Trailmaster MB200 minibikes. We beat on these bikes pretty hard in the Turkey Bay off-road trials. On the red bike with the Tilltoson 224cc we install a new 60 tooth sprocket, 420 gold chain, nitrogen billet shocks, driven cvt pulley, cvt jackshaft, new oil and air filter. On the blue bike with the Predator 225cc we upgrade to a 60 Tooth sprocket, new 420 gold chain, nitrogen billet shocks, change the oil, and new air filter.

Hell yeah, stage 3 Tillotson on a pressure washer. You won’t even have to hold the wand 😂😂😂
The Braxton banter was fun haha
Braxton grew like a celebrity kid lol
Love the mini bike vids! Chains might still be too tight which will cause all these issues again. Need to take shocks off and put swingarm in position where shocks would be completely fully compressed (2" shorter than shock if you have 2" travel shocks) and check chain tension there. You'll see how loose it needs to be when suspension is fully extended / at rest (probably at least 2" of slack, mine is 2.25" slack at rest with 12" shocks).
Then you'll need a spring loaded chain tensioner to deal with necessarily loose chain. Then you'll have solved the problem for good.
Until then the chain tension is your rear suspension's artificial bump stop, and that wrecks the chain, sprockets, jackshaft bearings, jackshaft mount, wheel bearings, etc... it also puts massive stress on chain and stretches/ wears out the chain extremely fast while you ride and then it falls off. The longer the shocks are the worse this all gets.
I just picked up a coleman ct200uex and when I let off the throttle it goes eeerrr eeeeerrrrrr eeerrrrrrr to a stop is this normal 😐
Precisely!
@@fatbuddycat ok thank you so much
Sounds like you've been there and done that, it makes sense....👍
@@Jb_outdooradventures no that's not normal.....then again.....when you let off the throttle the clutch disengages and the primary chain freewheels with the clutch bell. If it's a bad errrrrr errrrr errrrr down there it could be a number of things. If it's new it's most likely something simple.
Good to see you Braxton
What I've done in the past is soak a chain in motor oil for a few days then roll it up and put it in a Ziploc bag and keep as a spare.
Holy Moly! When did Braxton grow up! Last time I saw him was the jump over the driveway where he busted his chin!
Congrats on Graduating and the Championship. It was great to see Bloated Scroat again.(or whatever the nickname was)Hope you get onto his build soon as College starts in 2 months.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 bloated scrote... I'm dying
YES! Build the pressure washer engine, make it sing!
Damn ur son Braxton grew up quick hahaha
Braxton is his Brother-in-law
Like Paul Walker but I had the crust! Lol
Great video!
Oh yeah love the shookys💕👍🌟🎉🎉
Big adventures on mini bikes! That would be awesome. I love doing that on my atv would like to do it with a home built buggy.
Another great video, thanks man.
Can't wait to see the ghost build do you have any idea when it's coming out I'm to impatient lol 😆
Monday 😎
I run a 60 tooth on mine too, it makes a huge difference!
What’s the top speed
I have an idea 💡!
It would be interesting to see how one of these mini bike builds would do on a hill climb course like they have for dirt bike competitions, not the monster hills where 3/4 of the riders fall off their bikes or flip them but the more conservative hills. It would be cool to see one of your mini bike builds built for climbing just to see how far up you could get it. Even if you could only make it 1/4 or halfway up it would be awesome cause I'm sure that a stock Rural King mini bike probably wouldn't get past the first 20 ft.
Also, talking about cleaning your chain, I don't know if you have an ultrasonic cleaner but they work wonders for getting dirt and gunk out from between tight areas, I use a fairly small one, the one from Harbor Freight, and it does wonders for cleaning stuff. You'd probably need a bigger one than Harbor Freight has but put you some Dawn dish washing liquid in it with some good degreaser like Simple Green or Purple Power and run it for a few cycles and it should come out looking almost brand new. Just some thoughts 👍
You have to build the pressure washer for the memes
Us big bois need big boi shocks for our little bikes
Build the pressure washer out but maybe try using the predator ghost coil on it so it doesn't over rev the pump?
That was an awesome ride! By the next time I hope to be on a trail master my BT200x beat me half to death.
I'd go stage 4 you could ride the wand like a witches broom lol
You should make a push button chain oiler, with a can of Blaster, so you can lube the chain, while you ride.
I didn't even know you put oil on those filters, what is the spray, oil, you put on the filter, all the best to yous and your loved ones
seriously thought u was the daddy lol no shot I thought he was yours 😅
You should do a stage 4 hisun 😎that would be so sick that's wut I did to mine
Also... we think your steal gas tank is about to crack being as you mounted steal onto steal. I see there is no space between dem two pieces.
You put the predator on the pressure cleaner
👍👍👍👍
Are you going to show us the finished Harley cross kart you took to SEMA really want to hear it and see how fast it is
I was wondering how you got all your bikes to lose their shine.
hi when you going to do the Ghost engine build? I would like to see you stroke that engine out.
It will be out Monday
So how is the Yamaha buggy going, looking good, all the best to you all
Do you build these bikes fir customers
??? I just picked up a coleman ct200uex
When I let go of throttle the bike kind of goes eerrrrr eeeeerrrrrr eeerrrrrrrrr slowly to a stop like the engine is stopping the bike slowly. Is that normal is the jackshaft breaking in..... help
Try Fat Burger from now on....You can get yourself a cheeseburger and fries for 2.95.
Why does Redbeard want to put a 70 tooth sprocket on his bike
Build the washer, it’ll be a first.
Save yourself some money and use Apache cases from Harbor Freight.
Tuna no crust 😂
