Alison Hagley's voice is really ideal for this role. It's a shame nobody has heard of her.

Both as singer and as actress, Alison Hagley is perfect for the role of Susanna.

Her performance is exactly how Susanna should be as I can imagine.

This production is really outstanding. A perfect interaction between orchestra and singers. I love it.

I love the chemistry between Finley and Hagley. They are such great actors, I love Alison as Susanna, I wish I could see her perform live.

@DearAstir I definitely think she's underrated -- indeed, almost unknown. She's my all time favorite Susanna. Just with the version with her and Bryn Terfel as Figaro wasn't out of print.

Had the chance to rent this from my local library, I absolutely loved it!
Just a cautionary warning, looks like this is the same version I watched, the subtitles are nearly non existent! It's better to truly have read the libretto first, otherwise you'll miss a lot of the hilarity and subtleties in the text (although with such wonderful acting, singing and music it's hard not to understand what is happening).

@regulargonzalez It's not. Look on Amazon!! It won't let me post the link on here, but if you go to Amazon and look up Bryn Terfel, it's on the third page, number 41.
That really is a great version.

Susanna's voice is perfect, but the orchestra is stalling and rushing in certain places... without any logic that i can hear. It used to be my favourite performance of the duet for a long time, but then I listened to many more performances and now this one is quite jarring on the ears with regards to the accompaniment.

His voice is quite weak, small voice, but I suppose controlled well, pisaroni much better, certain roles he fits hire well
