40 കൊല്ലം മിച്ചം കാനഡയിൽ ജീവിതപരിചയം ഉള്ള ഒരു വ്യക്തി എന്ന നിലയിൽ പറയുന്നു. ഇവിടേക്ക് ഓടിയെത്തിയാൽ ഒരു ജോലിയും ഇന്നത്തെ കാലത്ത് കിട്ടാനില്ല. വളരെ ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള വിഷയമാണെങ്കിലും ഒന്ന് രണ്ടു കാര്യങ്ങൾ താഴെ എഴുതുന്നു. 18-20 വയസ്സുള്ള ഈ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ, മലയാളത്തിലെ ആദ്യ അക്ഷരങ്ങളായ അ... ആ... എന്നത് പഠിക്കേണ്ടതുപോലെ, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ചുവടുകളെ കുറിച്ച്, ഇന്നുവരെ അച്ഛനമ്മമാരുടെ പരിചരണത്തിൽ നിന്നതിനാൽ, ഇവിടെ വന്നശേഷം മാർഗനിർദേശം കിട്ടാതെയും, മറ്റെല്ലാവിധ കഷ്ടപ്പാടുകളിൽ കൂടികടന്നു പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ, അവസാന അക്ഷരമായ "ക്ഷ" തന്നെയാണ് വരയ്ക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു പത്തുവർഷം മുമ്പ് വരെ ഇവിടെയെത്തിയവർ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു പോയി എന്നു പറയാം. ചുരുങ്ങിയത്, ഉദ്ദേശം, ഒരു അഞ്ചുകൊല്ലം എടുക്കും ഇവിടെ ഒന്ന് പച്ച പിടിച്ചു വരാൻ. അങ്ങനെ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ, കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു അഞ്ചാറ് കൊല്ലമായി ഇവിടെയെത്തിയവർ, വളരെ കുറച്ചുപേർ ഒഴികെ, ഒരുകാലത്തും ഒരു നല്ല നിലയിൽ എത്തുമെന്ന് പറയാൻ സാധ്യമല്ല. അത്രമാത്രമാണ് സാമൂഹിക, സാമ്പത്തിക, സാംസ്കാരിക, രാഷ്ട്രീയ മേഖലകളിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്ന മാറ്റം, വിശിഷ്യാ കോവിഡിന് ശേഷം. ഈ കുട്ടികൾക്കെല്ലാം പഠിച്ചശേഷം എന്തെങ്കിലും ജോലികൾ കിട്ടിയേക്കാം, പക്ഷേ അതുകൊണ്ടൊന്നും വരാൻ പോകുന്ന ഭാവി സുരക്ഷിതമാകാൻ പോകുന്നില്ലെന്ന് അക്കമിട്ട് എഴുതിതരാം. ഉദാഹരണമായി, അനിയന്ത്രിതമായി ആൾക്കാർ എത്തുമ്പോൾ തുച്ഛമായ വേതനത്തിന് ജോലി ചെയ്യുവാൻ ആൾക്കാരെ കിട്ടും. ഇവിടെയുള്ള ജനങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിത നിലവാരത്തെ ഇത് ബാധിക്കും. അതേസമയം മെച്ചമുണ്ടാകുന്നത് വൻകിട കമ്പനികൾക്ക് മാത്രമാകും. ഇന്ന് ഇത് IT മേഖലയിൽ സംഭവിക്കുന്നു.(വിശദീകരിക്കാൻ ധാരാളം ഉള്ളതിനാൽ അതിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നില്ല) ഇന്നിപ്പോൾ ഒരുവിധം മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ശമ്പളത്തോടുകൂടി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നത് IT, Medical മേഖലയിലാണ്. IT-യുടെ കാലവും അധികം താമസിയാതെ തീരും. ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാർ അവിടെ വന്ന് അടിമപ്പണി ചെയ്യിപ്പിച്ചുവെങ്കിൽ, ഇന്ന് വിമാനകൂലിയും മുടക്കി അടിമപ്പണി ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വരുന്നു എന്നതാണ് വാസ്തവം; അതും ഏതോകുറെ കോർപ്പറേറ്റുകളുടെ അടിമകളാകുന്നതിനായി. (ഇങ്ങനെ പറയേണ്ടി വരുന്നതിൽ ക്ഷമിക്കണം🙏)
അവിടെ എത്തി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക് എന്തും പറയാം. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സാമൂഹിക സാഹചര്യം ഇതിലും എത്രയോ മോശമാണ്. തുച്ചവേദനത്തിനുപോലും ഒരു പണി കിട്ടാനില്ലാത്ത അവസ്ഥയാണ് പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ഡിഗ്രി ഉള്ളവർക്ക് പോലും. അതുകൊണ്ടൊക്കെയാണ് കുറച്ചു ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് സഹിച്ചിട്ടാണെങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ യുവതലമുറ മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ചേക്കേറുന്നത്.

We are living in Bahrain. My husband completed 41 years and myself 36 years here . My husband has business relationship with USA, European countries, China etc. We travelled to almost all major European countries, USA, China and some other countries .our younger son went to a University in Canada for his master degree in video game art. After his studies we brought him back to Bahrain. He was also not interested to stay back in Canada.

@chandramathy. i also moved to Canada from Bahrain. I was in Salmaniya. The cost of living is crazy here in Canada. I don't know how people with kids survive here without a 6 figure job. It's not possible. I could live a comfortable life with 700 BHD in Bahrain
@@at6446 It is expensive for sure. I don’t know about Bahrain but Canada for sure. If you have kids you will get child benefit. We have 2 kids and we get 750Cad every month. I think that will do with kids if they are in school. School and school bus is free. Higher education cost money but if you save something through RESP your kids don’t have to struggle when they ard in college. One more tip is to move to prairies as its at least 50% cheaper here than Ontario and BC
Don’t even go anywhere near the Canadian ‘colleges’. Those Canadian ‘colleges’ are mostly like Kerala’s ‘parallel collages’, and they grant useless worthless certificates. If you want to study in Canada choose a Canadian University, do not choose a ‘college’. Canadian Universities are world class.

Hey, Bro, I have many friends in India who have earned degree by going to evening classes and doing jobs in the morning, this is 30yrs back in India, so both work and study is not a big thing, those who put effort can succeed.
No Canadian-Indian family will send their children to these colleges. My great nephew is studying in Western university for his pre-med. I don't think he will go anywhere close to these colleges. Conestoga and Fanshawe colleges had great standard 15 years ago. I used have summer term students from these colleges in my office. I don't think I will employ them anymore (then I am retired now)
These colleges are after money. college education is nowhere near the standards . . That is why I encourage students to study in well know universities

My husband has business relationship with USA, European countries, China etc. We travelled to almost all major European countries, USA, China and some other countries .our younger son went to a University in Canada for his master degree in video game art. After his studies we brought him back to Bahrain. He was also not interested to stay back in Canada.

@chandramathy. i also moved to Canada from Bahrain. I was in Salmaniya. The cost of living is crazy here in Canada. I don't know how people with kids survive here without a 6 figure job. It's not possible. I could live a comfortable life with 700 BHD in Bahrain
@@at6446 It is expensive for sure. I don’t know about Bahrain but Canada for sure. If you have kids you will get child benefit. We have 2 kids and we get 750Cad every month. I think that will do with kids if they are in school. School and school bus is free. Higher education cost money but if you save something through RESP your kids don’t have to struggle when they ard in college. One more tip is to move to prairies as its at least 50% cheaper here than Ontario and BC
The agencies in India are the first culprits, so try to avoid them and try to apply directly to Canadian colleges for admission.
How to apply directly
Don’t even go anywhere near the Canadian ‘colleges’. Those Canadian ‘colleges’ are mostly like Kerala’s ‘parallel collages’, and they grant useless worthless certificates. If you want to study in Canada choose a Canadian University, do not choose a ‘college’. Canadian Universities are world class.
