There is a reason for the hatred shown towards their motherland. Khalistan movement was conceived by the CIA and implemented by ISI back in the 80s. That was when USSR invaded Afghanistan and Pakistan was the lynchpin of USA to launch counteroffensive against USSR backed militia. Pakistan had received a lot of funds from the USA and they decided to divert some or rather majority of it towards conceiving a movement to separate Indian Punjab and adjoining parts to create a new country which would be called Khalistan. We all know what happened after that. The KPS Gill purge of Sikh extremists, Operation Bluestar etc. After the assassination of Ms. Gandhi, the Khalistan sympathizers in India immigrated enmasse to 5 countries in particular US, UK, Aus, NZ & Canada. Ironically these 5 countries form a Intelligence Alliance called the Five Eyes. And again Khalistan Movement is mostly alive only in these 5 countries. Punjabis use Khalistan issue to immigrate to Canada under refugee visa citing India to be unsafe for them. This has been happening for years. This allows the lesser skilled people who do not have requisite qualifications to sneak into these countries.

There is a reason for the hatred shown towards their motherland. Khalistan movement was conceived by the CIA and implemented by ISI back in the 80s.
