60.00 is nuts for that
Yup especially when they sell basically the same thing at harbor freight for like 5-10 bucks you just need to get the adapter
Jaco inflator heads are the best
Still I got a car pump and jump box combo for like 60.00 the head for it shouldn't cost more than the machine I got
@@jimbush1581 how did you get them so cheap?
Agreed, that is crazy money.
I'm quite happy to save the 60 and thread my tyre inflator onto my valves! It's not exactly difficult, or too time consuming.
I can feel that purple fingernail, ouch.
Lol I thought the same thing and it's the middle finger so he can show it off
I drain mine by drilling a tiny hole through my nail…it relieves the pressure. I’ve done it a few times(I’m a carpenter)
Literally what my big toenail looks like after dropping weight on it
Those lock in valve connectors aren't great. They don't have as good of a seal as a screw on. I end up having to hold it straight so it doesn't lose pressure. If you are letting a machine automatically fill a tire just use the screw on.
@@anthonyrowell7853 yeah, sometimes I use a hot needle then some hydrogen peroxide other times I just wait it out
I was gonna buy it right now and thought it would be 15-20. When I saw the price, Pass!! The price is ridiculous
Honestly thought it would be a 10 or $15 adapter. That price is steep but it makes sense if you use it alot. Hard for me to justify for personal use and i only spent $70 each on my dewalt inflators
@@TURBOWANDS yup
@@TURBOWANDS Thanks for the tip. This kit's twice what I paid for my inflator. A 2pk kit from a seller that rates well at fakespot is $10.
Yeah that is a 10 dollar part
Jaco "Lightning" series is a good alternative, and they also make the right angle version.
I used a "JACO Lightning T-Series" and generic adapter, less than $40 and better in my opinion as it can reach in much tighter spaces like inner valves on lawn/yard equipment.
👍 I concur
LockNFlate recommends the “open” chuck for Milwaukee inflators.
This inflator is awesome. I use it everyday I'm a tow truck driver that works with a auto club.
Genius. I will say the snap on comes stock with this type of arrangement which is nice
That’s pretty cool, thank you for the video sir.
You bet
We love Matt sledge everyone show support for techs choice 🙏
Yeah needed in Australia thanks
Damn bro I’ve been looking for something like that for my Ryobi inflator. It has the same brass adapter so it’ll definitely work. Thanks man
HIYITKS Air Chuck with Clip Adapter, Brass Locking Tire Inflator Nozzle Adapter Connect, No Leakage 250 PSI Tire Chucks for Vehicle Inflator Compressor Pump ConnectTool
Look this up and it’s 2 for less than $8 and they work great, I have one on my ryobi and my Milwaukee
$60 bucks tho...how much your inflator?
Crushed fingernail sold separately
Exactly what I was looking for. Hell yeah bro!
How do you get the polish under the nail 😂
With a hammer
Girls need to try this one secret! Hand on the table, close your eyes
Thank you so much!!
You're welcome!
The only reason we don’t use the Milwaukee inflators daily is because no quick connect
Just under 60 buck heck, i don't mind screwing that on!
Very cool. Thank you
Me Subaru! I have a question. Could you shed light on how Blue Point and snap on are related? If they are at all? I’ve been reading up and I hear conflicting answers
Snap-on owns Blue-Point. They have for a long time.
I believe Snap On and Blue Point merged in 1930 odd to become Snap On Tools. Definitely has been a while....
Home Depot has a deal right now!
If you look online they have X2 5.0 batteries and a charger with a free tool. They have 13 tools to choose from. The tire inflator is one of the options! Great deal!
$60, no thanks! Great idea though.
$60 for something that should have been on the product to begin with.....
Skog chuck mate is smaller and cheaper 👍🏽
Which one should I get for my M18 tire inflator, open or closed? Their website recommends open but you use closed in this video.
Awesome product do you have a coupon code?
Nice setup
Depends on what you're doing. Convenient, but too big for motorcycle tires due to the angle.
JACO (Lightening) makes alternatives that will suit your application.
I wanted one of these so bad. But the price was $49.99usd plus $9.99usd for the adapter plus $10.72usd for taxes plus $22.43usd for shipping thats $125.27 Canadian just for an air chuck. Thats crazy its more than I paid for my Milwaukee M12 inflator which was $99 Canadian with free shipping. I get that this is the first real quality air chuck that is easy to use and does not leak but that price tag is ludicris
👍 Check out JACO Lightening.
The infamous mechanics purple nail 😅😂😭😭
I thought you had to get the open one not the closed one?
i have the same inflator ordered a little hose does the same thing off amazon for $8.. makes it a little longer but the holder still holds the hose up while storing and works great
Dude! That’s an awesome little gadget!
I'd imagine with that price it actually works well. I've used many of these style quick connects over the years, most fail eventually or easily leak air if not perfectly on.
Give it too me!! Jeez the original design was so silly
Edit: NEVERMIND $60!?!? 😂
Definitely something I hate about that style connector but....is it worth $60 to solve....
It's borderline. I was hoping it was around 40. But it does look well made tbf.
Absolutely.. NOT
Amazon sells them for $6 for 2 adapters
@@mgyabes1985do you have link ?
How bad was it when you pinged your middle finger? OUCH!!!!
Damn son! That’s a shiner for sure. Bet that tickled.
Thanks for the recommendation, would you say this inflator is efficient for airing up those E rated tires?
One hand quick operation, but 3-5 minutes to top off the tire.
I gotnone for Christmas. The inflator. I tired it out on my steer tires on the big rig. I had one that was under 60 psi. I set it for 100.It got there in about ten minutes. The other steer was at 88psi. It did that one in about three minutes. Still had enough battery to top off all four of my Tundra tires.
I bought similar 2 pack on Amazon for 10 bux.
I might be the odd duck but I don't mind using the screw on nozzle. It's a fantastic inflator.....Glad I bought it.
Grabbing this now 🎉
I just picked up the m18 inflator. And I also have the lock-n-lube for the grease gun. I didn’t know they had a lock-n-flate too. I’ll have to look into it. 💪🏻💪🏻
Cool
Lock’n’lube is on drugs with the prices of all their products. Great ideas, but not revolutionary enough to demand insane prices. Can’t even take the jokers seriously. 😂
The JACO Lightning S2X tire inflator extension is 100x better than this one. Love it with my Milwaukee compressor
I actually like the screw on tip, i know its definitely not gonna pop off while the pump is running.
Cost almost as much as my DeWalt inflator 😂
Thing is, I was just thinking yesterday how much I _really like_ my similar little brass screw-on type valve fitting on my cheapo but remarkably robust Pittsburgh 12V 100 psi pump, when compared to those lever-type fittings on many other pumps. The thought of paying roughly twice what I paid a few years back for the whole pump itself (20-something bucks on sale?) on the nozzle kit shown that I'm pretty sure would be a real struggle to get through my elderly RV's rear duallies' inner wheel access holes is kind of a non-starter. To be honest, I've been astounded by how robust that Pittsburgh pump has been. I had to open it up and reseat a sort of O-ring seal for its cylinder head leaf spring check valve with a dab of gasket seal about a year ago, but other that that simple 5-screw fix, I just keep running the snot out of that little thing year after year without complaint. Little wonder to me that it earned high praise a while back over on that _Project Farm_ channel in head-to-head tests with other pumps. However, 'Horror Fright's' cheaper yellow plastic offerings for roughly $10 are best avoided at all costs. They are truly excremental, not even intended for car tires (see the fine print), and will burn out with the first use.
I just bought this on amazon under a different brand for $5.
Yep, the same
Which brand did you guys buy?
Straight up when to go buy it right now but at 60 bucks no…..
Which one should you go for the open or closed one
I've thought about thsee but love the screw on never can possibly break or come off way that the pump comes lol
Or you can just hold it up to the stem and not thread it at all that’s what I been doing prolly saved me 3 hours of screwing with the valve stem all week at the tire shop I work at
Pretty taxed. Buachois Tire Inflator Extension Tube Tyre Pump Quick Inflation Chuck Adapter Hose Quick-Inflation Clip Connector is $10
Trick for blood under a fingernail.
After drilling a hole use a Mityvac to suck out the blood.
😅 LOL. Dude. Are you nuts? I just put an air Chuck head😮
Amazon got
Some that fit for $10 $60 plus shipping is crazy!
What's the name on amazon?
Look up tire inflator extension or adapter, plenty of options. I got the quick adapter head fitting for less than $7 and works great.
Dude i need this. About to cop now
Will this setup pump 120psi into a semi truck steer tire?
I bought a similar lock on adapter for my M12 inflator. This one looks a lot nicer though. Couldn't stand the screw on.
I wonder if there is something for people with dually tires
Jaco has "Lightning" series that will likely suit your needs.
Do they make right angle ones?
JACO makes some. ("Lightning" series.)
I put a $10 one on the Makita inflator i picked up for work for over a year now. It makes checking and topping off 15 plus vehicles take significantly less time, definitely recommend for anyone who uses an inflator with that style connector.
Do you have link ?
For your fingernail, Take the smallest drill bit you can find, probably 1/16", sanitize it, and spin it into your fingernail by hand. It will relieve the pressure. You can either "drill" all the way through with the bit, or once you get close with the drill bit, take a clean needle and poke through gently.
The images that went through my head reading this.....☠️☠️☠️
This is amazing info. That’s the only thing I don’t like about my m18 inflator. Other than that, the thing is amazing
The harbor freight digital readout tire inflator have that and they are like 17 bucks
I've got what appears to be the same brass adapter on a different locking piece. Do you ever experience issues where the pressure spikes causing the compressor to stop for a few seconds and then start up again and repeat? I was just using the M18 on my H1, and it kept doing this. THANKS!
You can get a quick connect from auto zone for $7 ive had this thing for 5 years and got annoyed with the 2 weeks. Haven’t had a problem
I’m undecided over the M12 or M18 inflator to air up my truck on weekend beach trips- will the M12 be sufficient or should I get the M18? I have a 4.0 M12 and 6.0 M18 battery, so I have that covered! Thanks 🙌🏻
I love the screw
Haha I was gonna say why paint one nail black, then I realized it was a bruised nail lol
My boy the make npt to valve stem adapters for 5 bucks ad a cheap tire inglater for a air compressor and your done
Had me all the way until you said 60$ maybe 15
Only if i get the sticker too
Open or closed flow for Milwaukee tire inflator?
Shouldn't you use the open flow locknflate because I just bought the open flow, not closed flow
I keep having air escape from both parts of the adapter and then get error codes. Any ideas why or how to fix?
Great idea but the price is a lil steep 😅
$56: 🤣😂🤣😂
But does this fit over Presta valves???
So what did you smash your finger on? lol
Came to the comments to ask the same question lol.
LBZ Duramax alternator
@@MrSubaru1387 Ouch 😮
I remember a long time ago I was doing something on the workbench one day and had my sandals or slippers on and dropped a half drive long ratchet on my big toe. The socket didn't seat into the ratchet properly and the ratchet slipped falling on my toe. My toe nail turned bluish blackish and it hurt for a good 15 minutes. Took a few months for the nail to grow out.
For $60 I'll wait for the Chinese knock-off.. That Mikwaukee inflator is a nice deal but for that kind of money they should throw in a 5AH battery with it.
$60 is ridiculous. I sometimes lose 1psi when unscrewing, but just overinflate to overcome.
Could someone not just get an adapter to a normal fitting and at an air chuck? I don't own this product but was curious if I'm missing something as that seems like a much cheaper solution and you could use the kind of chuck you like using
I need that
He said just under 60$ buck 😂
Haltec H-5265 is $13 and no adapter is needed
is there video footage of the finger being smashed?
Unfortunately not. Lol 😂
I need this for my DeWalt
HIYITKS Air Chuck with Clip Adapter, Brass Locking Tire Inflator Nozzle Adapter Connect, No Leakage 250 PSI Tire Chucks for Vehicle Inflator Compressor Pump ConnectTool
You guys can get this which is way smaller and works great… I use it every day on this exact inflator and have had no issues for about 5 months! And it’s less than $8 for 2 of them!
Is it open or closed
$20 is passable but $60, outrageous for an adapter
6.49 cents sounds more like it!
How much is the inflator by itself?
$60 not thanks i not lazy only taking me 10 seconds screws hose connector
60!!!! Nah I’m good
