Sorry. I know this isnt the place for this. Mr Subaru Im stuck. Not literally. I have a 94 legacy wagon turbo with one injector with 39 ohms. Of course it doesnt idle well. I need one injector. There are ads on ebay for them but they really dont have the injectors. (Im waiting for a refund) I have the pink ones. Where can I get one? Even a used one. Or are there other injectors that will drop in? I have a piggy back unit so I could go larger in theory (Apexi.) Ive scoured the internet and local specialists. There's nothing real. Thanks!

How does an FA / FB sound different than an EJ ? Seriously ? It's not like the firing order, cylinder count, crankshaft design, number of valves, etc, etc changed between the two. When the muffler falls off, you cant tell the difference, except the CVT with loud exhaust sounds horrible.

Gotta say that you never break a bolt loose with a ratcheting wrench when others are listening to keep that warranty valid..... ;-)

Almost all new non-hybrids have this direct injection. I think the new Honda 2.0 liter doesn't have it in the HR-V, and the engine isn't particularly powerful. But I've heard enough about this high pressure system to consider it anyway.

😂😂😂😂😂 I know everyone buys these electric ratchets thinking that they’re going to have as much torque as an impact gun…. There is a reason that they ratchet like a regular socket, wrench wood…. Honestly, the die hard one works just as well as the Milwaukee unless that snap on…. Either way works just as good.

2018 2.5L Forester at 46k miles. I have zero oil consumption. I bought it new and took it real easy on the car during the break in period. Not sure if that matters or not.

I just ordered the line wrench set.. along with a mini tone monkey wrench because it looked cool.. then some koken spark plug sockets all from Amazon japan. Even after shipping, it comes out cheaper than buying from us distributors. In some cases, it is much cheaper

You had mentioned in a previous post about cleaning the throttle body and removing carbon from the valves. How often does this have to be done?

I will absolutely never own another Toyota. I have had 3 (Avalon, Prius, Tacoma). The main reason is the dealers. I work on my own when I can but a lot of the parts were Toyota only I needed. Each time they acted like it was a pain to sell me the parts. Plus they would charge one price online and mark it up in store. This wasn’t just one store either. Subaru on the other hand has the best dealer experience. Even on long trips if I ran into a problem with my Subaru they were awesome about working me in and ensuring my car was taken care of. I traded my ascent in November and highly regret it. Currently looking for an Outback bc other than my truck I will prob always own a Subaru.

I’ll stick with Toyota and see you in 20 years. I do agree nothing but an Audi can touch symmetrical AWD. I love boxer engines too.

Would rubbing the wheel contact points on the hub down with anti-seize protect the aluminum to steel contact area from corrosion? Thanks for your thorough video.

We traveled from Minnesota to Utah. There were times when 87 octane was not available. We had a choice of 85 or over 90. I realize that 85 will work in high elevations but, when you are on a trip you are not necessarily staying in high elevations and I don't like engine knock. Like you we did get some tanks with higher mileage with our Crosstrek.

I hate Subarus! Subarus engines burns oil after 70K miles, engines leak oil after the silicon gaskets dries up around 100k miles, CVT breaks after 100K miles, now the TCV - Thermo Control Valve fails. Subarus are trash after 100K miles, or fix and keep fixing cars!

We have been a life long Toyota family. Just traded in a Toyota for a Suburu and my son just got a Suburu instead of Toyota. Toyota has too many issues with quality lately, priced too high and not enough inventory to make prices reasonable.

I have a 23 wrx and my girlfriend has a 23 Ascent. I'm averaging 27-28mpg and she she is hovering around 24. I LOVE the ejs, but I'm beyond happy with both of our FA24 powered cars. I can't wait to see how things progress.

What I want to know is: is there a way to get rid of the silly "shift" built in? Can it be flashed out so it works like an actual (underline) Continuously Variable / Constant Velocity (stop underline) Transmission? I'd sure rather have it feel like, and work like, a Dynaflow. Smooth, no lurch. CVTs have been around long enough that the fake shifts just aren't needed. Soob uses them, but so do Nissan, Honda, and others.

And i couldn’t imaging taking my car in for transmission fluid change they was wanting close to 900$ to change my spark plugs and coolant flush and fill and brake fluid flush and fill I did it myself and had less then 150$ in it all that’s adding and oil and filter change to that and I don’t cheap out on fluid or plugs I always do my research and get the best

CVTs are fine on a Subaru as long as you drive them like Subarus. I granny mine and has 130k with 4 fluid changes already. Well worth it when the snow hits in Seattle area.

Gotta be smarter than the tools you’re using.
