I’m only speculating but I wonder if Dean chose not to have cameras in the changing room because something happens to us humans mentally when we know we are being videoed. We stop listening in the same way and start acting slightly differently. My guess is he wanted to connect to the boys on a deeper, more honest level given the stature of the opponents they were facing. Obviously it’s all just a guess but that’s what I feel the reason might have been

is there a reason why we stopped adding the ambient music in the background? only asking because i noticed that the most recent episodes havent had any , not a complaint at all, i know the editing contraints are immense! I just thought it added more intensity to some of these matches, especially in S1, keep up the awesome work!!!!!
Honestly, we didn't want to use music very much, we were using it to cheat a bit by painting over the match audio. Just throwing it on at the end. So rather than use music to cover stuff up we figured we'd just get better at mixing the ambient sounds.
We figured we'd do that for a few episodes and see if anybody noticed, and nobody did! We'd love to have bespoke music, that would be ideal. Maybe one day...
