- It's time for the documentary derby! Dorking Wanderers are heading to Wales to face Wrexham, while the Bunch of Amateurs crew measure their cameras against the might of the Welcome To Wrexham budget.
Improving form - most notably in defence since the signing of that Millwall bloke - is giving Dorking hope of achieving an upset and becoming the first time to win at The Racecourse. Can Marc's dreams come true?

They were great guys to work alongside - we asked them loads of questions about how to do things and they were happy to answer - their DP even set up our lights for us at the end. We don't even have a DP!

As a Wrexham fan, Dorking will hold a place in my heart moving forward, love Marc's honesty, living the dream.
I love the banter you have with Marc. Only 10 mins into this episode, but loving every second so far.
Love these shows. Can’t wait til next season. Truly believe Dorking will be battling for playoffs IF they go full time. Can’t win consistently at this level without being full time. What mark has done with what he has is beyond remarkable.

Yeah going ft is a big investment, no doubt. Dorking is amassing a respectable international audience, that’s in large part to this show. Mark and the other owners have a long term plan, I hope they can rise up the leagues. Due to location, I’d put their cap at EFL 2 maybe lower 1, if they go FT.

Dorking have done amazing this season. I think most of us at Wrexham have a soft spot for Dorking as they epitomise what sport is all about. This is a tough league and to come up and more than hold their own in their first ever season here is a great achievement. I can see them sneaking a playoff spot before too long.
The entire exchange with Cannon's yellow had me rolling...that's some class acting on his behalf, and the Dorking player picking him up off his bum - perfection!
This is the real 'Welcome to Wrexham' - love B.O.A as well as Dorking. What a fantastic club with a remarkable history. I wish them nothing but success!

I spit my drink out laughing at the narration to Andy Cannon's yellow card. And I'm a Wrexham fan! That was hilarious. I love BoA and Dorking and rewatching this series is a great way to spend the offseason.
I've enjoyed every interaction we've had with Dorking in our time in the league together. Massive amounts of class and respect coming from you lot, I'm sure I'm not the only Wrexham fan hoping to see good things from Dorking in the seasons to come
Actually watched a podcast of Marc on under the cosh and now I actually hope dorking do well will be checking there scores this year
It is great to see Season 2 of Welcome to wrexham looks like they are going to feature most if not all the teams in the national league. It only could mean a boost for the other teams. It is not only about wrexham it might be about the stpries of every team. Cant wait for season 2 then. With wrexham promoted to efl they still helped national league teams.
I wouldn't doubt that's exactly what they're going for, the biggest problem for the lower leagues is exposure they have almost none
Meanwhile you go anywhere else in europe the lower leagues get a good amount of exposure locally and stay up pretty much indefinitely as long as they don't bungle their finances.

As a Wrexham supporter and a classic car fan, I would have loved to have seen that old Vauxhall Viva rock up in the Racecourse car park!
Was at sailsbury on Saturday. I wear similar jeans to marc a load of sailsbury fans started shouting you got your wife's jeans on n I shouted back nah mate I have your mum's jeans on as they was definitely under 21. So big thanks marc for giving me the one liner because a 100 or so Weston fans roared with approval
This is why I love every league below the championship, just good people trying their best to get ahead in life instead of being behind the 8 ball for a change, down to earth and fun as hell
First episode I've watched, I didn't think there was anything amateur about either the video production or the play on the pitch. Good luck next season!

Never even heard of this club until the WTW episode. Really charming story and made me wish all the best to the club. Got to love WTW for giving exposure to the league's other teams, best kind of free publicity. Can't understand Notts County reluctance.
Firstly a massive congratulations on staying in the National League!! Looking forward to seeing what Marc has planned for next season. Great that so many lessons can be learned part-time and stay up. Onwards and upwards and hopefully see you in the EFL sooner rather than later even with the competition for those top spots as it is and will continue to be.
11:45 Absolutely right about getting the home crowd against the home team. Happened to us in the 1st half this Saturday. Team under enough pressure as it was and playing badly and making mistakes. The crowd turned on the team and it only made things worse.
15:15 Right there is where what I think karma is really about. Marc gives money for free drinks for Wrexham fans, and Wrexham remember that gesture and do the same for Dorking fans. It is two examples of owners that have a great mindset and something that mean good luck is more likely to happen to them, because people do notice these things, not all people but it’s usually the decent ones. So when you least expect it, nice things happen because someone out there just thinks, you know, that guy who did that nice thing, I’ve noticed he’s had a problem with x and I know a person who can help, I’ll call my friend… Random shit like that. So it’s always nice to see things like this happen, tells me a bit about the types of people running Dorking & Wrexham.
28:57 Don’t say anything. But Mullin was the season before League 2 top scorer. Not last seasons League 1 top scorer. I can see how that mistake happened. Cambridge Utd are in League 1, but his goals helped them to promotion the year before, then Wrexham signed him, when he had a choice between playing for Cambridge in their 1st season back in League 1 or going to the National League.
Another at Wrexham with a huge soft spot for Dorking and Marc and look forward to seeing you climb further in years to come. I always clock the results after every match

The dry humour and 'The Office' style feel to this docu-series makes it so great. Brilliant series! Its only going to get more and more subs.
Fascinating to see the 2 very different approaches to documenting football. The Wrexham team are looking to make a story/narrative of it with a big team that fell down and are rising back up. Whereas BoA are making an effort to record what actually happens in a non-league club. You'd got to say you feel closer to Dorking because there's no cherry-picking and no pressure to try and create a story.
thanks will check out your documentary too and you will be the reason I will keep watching the national league. You need to spread that you make a documentation. Many that enjoyed Wrexham will come back to watch you. Which would be good for the Nationa League too.

When you clearly see the cameraman in the dressing room in this episode, is that what it’s normally like with Rich recording Dorking team talks normally? Normally you can spot a few cameras placed around the dressing room, but I can’t really recall seeing a cameraman standing behind Marc in such an obvious way like this episode
