- Dorking Wanderers Football Club was founded in just 1999 with jumpers for goal posts. They first played in the Crawley and District League and since that time have won 9 promotions. As we write they currently sit top of Ryman League Division One South, just three promotions away from professional football. This is such a great achievement for such a young club. They are supported by Selachii Legal www.selachii.com
Bunch of Amateurs brought me here, it’s quite incredible what Marc has achieved I’m definitely coming along for a game next season.
Did you go?
Pretty amazing how far they've progressed in such a short space of time - The BOA series is brilliant
I love hearing about clubs that are founded because players genuinely love playing football, not how much money they make. What a success its been, the National League already, 1 more league to go!
I played and scored there for Loxwood … county 3 we won the league dorking came 2nd we both went up .. the rest is history now I watch them play my team woking … mad story love it ❤️⚽️
Sitting here at home on Spain's north coast, My mind's taken back almost 70 years to seeing my first Dorking match at their then ground of Pixham Lane. I remember the Meadowbank ground being inaugurasted by Walter Winterbottom and being the general factotem of the reserves for a couple of years and always remembering to take a pair of boots in case we could only muster up 10 players. I even managed to score once at Hertford and to be on the winning team at Wembley (Vs Wembley F.C. reserves). Those were the days.
Brilliant story and what a character Marc is. Long may they continue to rise and flourish 👏👏
Brilliant to see how much they have progressed
Nice to see Marc taking Frankie Howards hair out for the day
This is legendary shit right here!
Fair play - what an achievement - I've no doubt in my mind whatsoever that Marc will get them into the FL. One of the great football stories.
When matey mentioned Brockham fields my eyes lit up cause that's where I first started playing as a youth against Brockham Badgers
Love to see Dorking in the football league
One more promotion and you will get your wish!
Such a shame they gone down. Good club
@@cal401 gutted mate
Well done and the best of luck.
Really enjoyed this!
Never realised the ground had shut down I was there in 93/94 best social side I’ve had at a club we all had a drink after the game
Great to see!

Fair play! Bring back the the ice gem hair-do! Haha
Wow.
Looks like Dorking FC (over 130 years old) who they were about to groundshare with folded as there were delays getting the new stadium ready.
Dorking Wanderers are now in the top division of the non-league pyramid.
That hairline in the thumbnail is mental
