Love this series. Charlwood is a good watch but the Dorking episodes are excellent, really should make it a permanent thing.
Should do it with other teams like step 4 teams aswell
Would kinda go against the whole bunch of amateurs theme if they did a league 2 team

@@d-s4869 how is it u have steps 1 to 4 thats pro football mate step 5 is national league prem then step 6 is national league South and North I played in rymian league a few years ago it step 7 mate not step 4 or you working it as only non league football

Manager gives Nicky Wheeler far too much stick. He’s one of if not their best winger and he calls him shit and subs him off every week
What he did with the keeper has only shattered the young keeper. He signed a new keeper, Which is ok, but to play him ahead of your number 2. It's a baffling decision. I hate to say it. But the manager is a spoofer. Said in the last game that young players win nothing, sure a young Ajax team didn't win the CL in 1995.

Every video I’ve seen Nicky has been absolute quality… unless he sits on his arse until the ball comes to him it’s bizarre why he keeps coming off/ getting dropped

The continual criticism of Nicky Wheeler is bizarre. Your highlights show him to be a very dangerous player that creates chances, and in this game scores, still gets slagged off by Mr Ego.
Having watched through until this episode, the club and manager should be praised for how they operate I'm looking forward to watching more

Love all these videos 👌lost the love for elite football tbh after 20 years of home and away following the Rams. Watched prices increase for a day out to an amount the working man can no longer afford. Next season me and the lads will be finding a non league club to follow 👍

Came across this series randomly,as a Stoubridge FC fan I can relate to this series,the production is far superior than the Salford FC documentary,went there with Stoubridge and we beat them but ironically non of that footage made the documentary!!

The season has now been officially cancelled. They are in the NLS, and promotion would take them into the NL, which is directly below League 2. So they are two promotions from league football (and were a park side 15 years ago!).

Although Dorking are a decent side I think there a fair way off being the finished article. Teams at a higher level are much stronger and fitter and they need to get much more intense for the ninety minutes. Keeping the ball is all very well but there is a lack of craft up top.

I love the series, but the manager is a spoofer of the highest order. The reason why his team is winning is because he has some quality players and none of the players question the manager. He is an authoritarian manager.
Our suggestion is to keep watching and apologise for this message after you get to the end.
@@BunchOfAmateurs I will definitely keep watching, but as an A license coach with extensive knowledge on leadership, these things are unforgivable. For me and in my opinion it's an awful way to deal with people, I just feel sorry for the players.
I have watched all of season 1 and I don't feel my opinion will change tbh now. I loved Charlwood documentary and the coaches to me are night and day. One tries to instill confidence and bring players with him, the other just takes lads off at half time and threatens them with not playing and fines. It's not my cup of tea at all.

Manger needs to no rules, 1min add does not min 1min, means no less then 1min can be played so 1.20 is fine,
His point was that there was no reason to add any extra time. The ball was in play the whole time, it went out at the point that the minute was up.

Feels a bit much going off at the ref at half time but then previous games not turning the other cheek, stirring the other team and throwing the ball away, I feel fights will naturally start
