- Meet the all-new Slash. This long-travel enduro rig is built to battle in the backcountry with 170/170mm of high-pivot suspension that makes light work of square-edge slabs on the downs and punches into short-travel efficiency on the ups. MX wheels and slack geometry keep you nimble and flexible on steep, hairpin corners, and rock walls, and tons of adjustability means you can take control of your ride for your own style and terrain.

The new slash is insane 😱😱😱
Lmaoaoao
I just got mine last weekend! It's a monster on the trail!
Lmaoaoaoaoaoaoaaooaao look at them gears lmaoaoaoaaoaoao wow
I have the 9.8XT and I love the way it looks. I still find myself riding my Santa Cruz 5010 more though. I need to get used to riding a 29er. The bike just feels so much bigger and heavier.
Looks like a session 😉
Looks like a headache
I'm wondering... Does the high pivot what the "Maestro" suspension from Giant does?
now 29/27.5 is gonna be pushed hard. gotta get the new tech!. oh and $4400 for an alloy bike with deore brakes
I'd like to see a head to head comparison with the Megatower.
Just put an order in for one yesterday how easy is it to take the back wheel to 29ee?
HIgh pivot bikes might perform better on rough terrain but inmho it does make the bike uglier and more complicated. I'm so glad I just bought a Slash 8 Gen 5! 😊
My next bike
Have fun with 6 chainrings lmaoaoaoaoaoaoa
Dave Weagle INVENTED the Split-Pivot.
Can I get the size small in 29"?
I don't like full 27"
Nope
Small sizes don't have enough clearance in the frame or fork for 29" wheels
When are you going to put a TQ motor in this bike? ;-)

Another high pivot mullet…groundbreaking

Blast through it
One word
Hardtail
Someone at Trek fucked up - again. The paper on the Universal Derailleur Hanger clearly states it is not for upper idler wheels and the chain needs to be horizontal, and not at an angle. Hence all this talk of the Trek Slash loosing its chain all the time.
I know it serves a purpose but all these extra chain routing pulleys look like shit.
and more maintenance

What's-Up, is the over-saturated amount of bike reviews by...Reviewers, that review products for a CZcams channel. I've discovered only three videos(out of five-hundred), that are by actual-owners of Trek Slash. That tells me a-lot about the bike, the sales, and the foreign manufacturing. Trek, would do better, if it purchased carbon frames, from a third-party in Europe. Very over-priced, for a rig made in Taiwan or Vietnam, in the same facility, that supplies carbon, for about a dozen other bike brands. Bike pricing, and cartoonish marketing, has gotten really absurd in the industry.
Def a step back for me. Trek slashalways looked insane to me. I got 2022 carbon slash which is a beast and looks insane. This 2 extra pivot makes it look absolutely terrible. Really looked forward for trek slash 2024, but ill probably for next gen and hope to see that terrible looking triple pivot gone or maybe buy a rail instead. Its horrible looking. Slash is my soul and it was ruined. Sorry Trek i love you but this was a real let down.
You want performance, not looks
