As Mandela said in 1997 reaffirming his support for Palestinian rights: "We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians." Listening to this interview it is clear that this applies to all of us all over the world.

Yes. There are so many excellent authors covering the actual history of what's been going on for generations in Palestine. I would also encourage people to buy and read as many books as they can on these subjects. And also once you're finished donate them to a local library so others can learn truth.

Pre 1967 Palesrinians more than a "second class citizen" for some kibbutzniks. Have to say far from typical but nonetheless there 'on site and in sight' - generally disliked and resented by many of the 'old school' so to speak - was a man, a more recent arrival, responsible (at least when I was there) for allocating tasks to student volun- teers. I could hardly believe my ears, and certainly didn't want to, when he would describe local villagers with whom we would be working in the outlying fields as "Untermenschen"!
A single anecdote, I know, but the overall atmosphere suggested something very amiss was being imposed on the majority of fellow kibbutzniks there.
