Thanks for posting this mate! 😃 🖤 Horror Hosts & have fond memories of his show on TNN (along with Riders in the Sky showing B Westerns). We didn't realize how good we had it in the days of local movie hosts. R.I.P. Sir Cecil, Sammy Terry, Dr. Creep & Company.

I remember watching Sir Cecil with my mom back in the day. We loved the movies and the silliness he brought along with them. Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories. And it's great to see you ob YT again!

Thanks so much for sharing this I remember seeing Sir Cecil hosting horror movies on the Nashville network back in the 1980s it was so fun when we had cable, I never missed horror movies I found it because we watched a slow called I 40 Paradise so good to see horror hosts being honored and remembered I grew up in
LA in the 60s 70s we had jeepers creepers, Gouleta, later Seymour he was my mom's, favorite and she didn't even like horror movies later Grimsley then Elvira, they all brought fun to the movies they hosted as does DR Gangrene, looking forward to the Halloween countdown thanks again Doc, my favorite Doctor.

The TNN show was pretty cool. I love that he called himself the Phantom of the Opry.

I remember Sir Cecil and also being exposed to many great (and not so great) horror films because of him.

Most excellent, Doc. And very cool that Sir Cecil would receive such an honor. Now we just need to work on a Mt. Rushmore type thing with you and Zacherley.
