Wow! This is so awesome. I am a Fan. I also agree with you about JOHN'S Films as well too. Thank you for placing the top ten film's too. Most excellent!!! Yeah!😊
Must be from a network feed. That long musical interlude was where a local station would have inserted local commercials.
One of favorite movies! Congratulations on 25 years of scares and fun🧟♀️🖤
Congratulations Doc! Great Lloyd Kaufman skit!
Thank you! Lloyd is always fun!

I remember watching Sir Cecil with my mom back in the day. We loved the movies and the silliness he brought along with them. Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories. And it's great to see you ob YT again!
Thanks! That's what it's all about!
Thanks so much for sharing this I remember seeing Sir Cecil hosting horror movies on the Nashville network back in the 1980s it was so fun when we had cable, I never missed horror movies I found it because we watched a slow called I 40 Paradise so good to see horror hosts being honored and remembered I grew up in LA in the 60s 70s we had jeepers creepers, Gouleta, later Seymour he was my mom's, favorite and she didn't even like horror movies later Grimsley then Elvira, they all brought fun to the movies they hosted as does DR Gangrene, looking forward to the Halloween countdown thanks again Doc, my favorite Doctor.
The TNN show was pretty cool. I love that he called himself the Phantom of the Opry.
Wonderful! I remember Sir Cecil and also being exposed to many great (and not so great) horror films because of him.
Indeed, he showed both good and bad (a lot of bad, LOL).
Most excellent, Doc. And very cool that Sir Cecil would receive such an honor. Now we just need to work on a Mt. Rushmore type thing with you and Zacherley.
Ah, thank you! Nice to be included in such prestigious company.
@@drgangrene My two favorites.

Thanks for posting this mate! 😃 🖤 Horror Hosts & have fond memories of his show on TNN (along with Riders in the Sky showing B Westerns). We didn't realize how good we had it in the days of local movie hosts. R.I.P. Sir Cecil, Sammy Terry, Dr. Creep & Company.
Absolutely. He was one of the greats!

Where did they find so many cute epileptic girls? Oh? Dancing? Really? I don't believe it. 🙂
Leiber rhymes with Fiber!
Ok, good to know. I hadn't heard that before.
@@drgangrene Fritz was very insistent on that. 😂
Oh, I love the Diary of the Dead! Dawn of the Dead should be #1.
When it comes to art... Only buy what you really like.😊
When I was a young child in the 70s, I loved both Carson and Price... My dad looked like Vincent Price
Sadly, the only stream version on Prime, from Shout Factor cuts out 25% of the movie!
Romero's favorite of his zombie movies was _Day of the Dead._ czcams.com/video/tBzqSOzSGfc/video.html
Groovy tunes at 9:00 Vincent Price was a very interesting man. I loved his acting, especially in Batman.
Glad to see Son Of Dracula make the list
seen this movie & it's dope
This channel is the best channel ever
18:48-18:52 Love Christopher Lee.
What I don't understand is how they got that Degenerate Netflix abomination from this masterpiece of classic Horror?
Vincent Price, Legend.
Looking forward to watching and critiquing the movie
Looking forward to watching and critiquing this movie
I would love Vincent Price to narrate my life.
He reminds me of one of my uncles. Positive, class and quiet sophisticated manner. He was a great actor.
what about 90s jackals with bruce willis?
Looking forward to watching and critiquing the movie
I've always been most fond of Day Of The Dead myself but love them all to some degree. Night is a true classic as well as Creepshow.
Dawn of the Dead is a great movie but the zombies look like crap. The effects are so much better in the third movie. Dawn suffers doubly by comparison with the excellent Tom Savini remake of the original.
I think Dawn is a masterpiece. I get what you're saying about the zombie makeup but it was an aesthetic George was going for that has its own unique look. I disagree about the Savini remake. I appreciate it but think the original is better in every aspect. Especially as there's nothing to compare it to at that time, The Last Man on Earth being the closest influence. The original Night was groundbreaking and one of the most influential films in horror history. Can't overestimate its impact.
@@drgangrene I get that and wouldn't want to take anything away from these movies or their place in history. I still love them. When revisiting, I definitely choose the Savini version though. (It also helps that I have a lingering crush on Patricia Tallman from when I first saw her in Knightriders.)
