In this video, I show how to forge multi-elements early medieval arrowhead. I used mild and medium steel I collected in the scrap yard. I based on the archaeological find from Wrocaław (Poland). - Věda a technologie
man that looked like a difficult challenge, making forgewelds on such a small project isnt easy! great craftsmenship!!
That forge weld was crazy
Magic. So far, the best guys I've seen were Joey van der something and Ilya. It looks like you could teach them a trick or two...
Joey van der steeg! For some reason he hasn’t posted much….really enjoyed his videos.
That was really cool! Thanks for posting that. Nice delicate welding.
Hello Maciej! Congratulations on another very cool built! You amazed me again with your ability for fine and detailed work with a hammer. Such fine art is so cool! Thank you for sharing your work with us and being an inspiration for other blacksmiths!
Wishing you all the best! Jasmine🙂
Awesome! Subscribed! And kudos to whoever added the video editing and small reference image of the arrowhead and portion being worked. Thanks again.
That's kind of a sexy point, well made sir thank you for the video upload
It looks heavy compared to today's arrowheads. Sure looks deadly enough...
Nice work.
What an amazing video and skill !!! , cogratulations and thank you very much for shering.
Inspiring work. Many thanks.
Muito bom... parabéns pelo excelente trabalho de forja 👏👏
Great point
little beauty ❤️
you are one of the best blacksmiths i have seen on youtube. i love historic replicas and you show it beautifully. i predict a bright future for your channel if you continue making excellent content. make some swords too ;)
I have 3 unfinished sword projects so there will be sword videos soon.
@@officinaferraria thank you :)
thats pretty darn close, nice job, I wonder if that type of arrow was used in war/hunting or if it was for show.....if it was for people ..thats one nasty piece of hardware to be hit with.
Класс!
This is awesome work. I want to know more about the arrow head. Was there more than one? Was it for actual use or was it a ceremonial thing because that is really fancy broadhead.
there is plenty of early medieval decorated arrowheads. In the original find, the socket was metal inlay by copper and silver.
Мои аплодисменты!
Amazing work, i would like to see you forge a crescend moon arrowhead, i made a few from rebar and i'm interested how you would forge one, i can't find any CZcams video's on those arrowheads.
It is not complicated, I will make a short about.
@@officinaferraria thank you, i'm looking forward to it.
First time isn't gonna be a 100%? What's important is you came close.
Great video and informative. How is the Little hammer doing still eating alot? 🐕
Still steals the steel from the shop:-).
@@officinaferraria 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant! How much of time requires the creation of this kind of weapon?
2 h.
Just a question what does the bee's wax do?
Make black colour and anti-corrosion.
What is the wax for?
To make it black.
Wow! Just wow. Thank you. A beautiful piece of work. Elegant. I'd be proud to get shot by that. You've lit my fire and by the end of this day I swear there'll be a really crappy, wonky version of that coming out of my shop.
Way too much effort for a single shot
