I wish I had a lift. Would make my life so so much easier. I have a 2017 Cruze Premier, cylinder 1 has low compression. Piston has ring damage, and looks like the others aren't far behind.. Always change my oil at about 3500 and with full synthetic... Thought it was a fluke, seems many have had the same issue starting about when the warranty is up at 60k, just like mine. Guess that's why they went from 100k to a 60k warranty...
It's crazy how many of these engines we've seen fail over the years, and for some pretty crazy reasons. Hope you're able to get back on the road! We appreciate you watching! --Emily and Jerry

What did this cost?
This job has a labor time of 17.3 hours so at my shop rate the labor would have been 1600.00. The customer supplied the engine on this job. I think it was around 1300.00. Other than that it would just be the cost of antifreeze, oil, and filter. Hope that gives you an idea of total. Thanks
@@UglyTruckExperiencethat's very cheap for a practically brand new engine. They want $3k to $4k min for engines with 10k+miles around me.... So my brand new looking Cruze Premier just sits in the drive, because I can't do it right now, and I own 2x what I can sell it for in it's condition.. These engines should have been recalled, instead chevy lowered their warranty from 100k to 60k....
