Strobing Mercury Lamp

This is a 175w Philips Lifeguard clear mercury lamp from 1986 strobing before warm restrike on a Universal CWA ballast! This is what certain mercury lamps will do upon a warn restrike after a power interruption on a CWA or CWI ballast.

Only a CWI or a CWA ballasts can make them strobe only on hot restrike

How did you make it strobe? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
