I think it really made her feel appreciated and loved as well, that she didn't have to look up and feel small, she felt on the same level. She got the same experience all the other brides get and she deserved that and they gave it to her. Kudos to the shop and kudos to Danielle for finding the perfect dress for her.

I think this is the first episode of say yes to the dress i’ve seen where they purposefully brought dresses in to fit the bride. Earlier episodes I seen them put flower girl dresses on the bride.

Not every bride. I didn’t wear a wedding dress or have a proper wedding because my then husband-to-be felt it was a waste of money. He didn’t even see the point in getting married. As far as he is concerned a commitment is a commitment. We got married anyway in a registry office on a Tuesday as it’s free 🙄 Never mind, I still love him and wouldn’t change him for the world.

Why was that dress so expensive? it's tea length.
It's actually a full-length dress with detachable bottom. Another bride tries the full dress in another video and they show how it looks like as short too.

it looks like they took an existing randy fenoli design and shortened it for the sample dress. the original was probably between 2-2.5k and then they charge extra for pattern changes.
The fabric isn't what costs so much. It's the labor involved in making it. It takes just as much time for someone to sew a shorter dress as it does to sew a longer one. Also, it's a Randy Fenoli design, and Randy doesn't come cheap.
The amount of fabric is only one factor in the cost. The labor involved to make the dress is about the same whether tea-length or full-length.
I don't understand her disability.. and how it affects her ..
she has Pseudoachondroplasia, a genetic disability in which the bones of the limbs are disproportionately shorter than the rest of the body. so her head and torso grow at a normal rate but her arms, legs, fingers and toes are significantly shorter and stockier.
