Tip for warming fingers: keep some rubber gloves by the nearest sink. Put them on before running hands under the warm water. This will keep your hands dry and keep them from cooling off from moisture evaporating (which happens without rubber gloves, even when thoroughly drying with a towel.) Also, use loose fitting arm warmers...keeping the arms warm helps to keep the hands warm (a tip from cycling in the winter.) Cheers
