  • This is a short and sweet book all about how one can adapt the Wheel of the Year to better fit their specific location. I think it's a great asset to Pagans across the whole globe, particularly as we face climate crisis. I hope you enjoy Australian Druidry by Julie Brett as much as I did!

Thank you so much for this lovely review of my book Danni! It makes me so happy to see how it has been received around the world and not just in Australia for adapting our practice, and I think you're so right about how this kind of work can help us with adapting to climate change. Also thank you for sharing about my jewelry

Yes! I love this book! This is a highly recommended book in the AODA circles because it's a fantastic example of wildcrafting Druidry. Building a local personal Druidry is so important. So glad you posted this!

Love the idea of adaptability. Especially how it's welcomed in OBOD. I try to incorporate spirits of the native indians of location to honor them and the people

I enjoyed your review and think that it is just common sense for the individual to adapt to their local geography. As the Southern Hemisphere is in the reverse for all its seasons. So it takes a different mind set to adapt to different weather, land, indigenous culture, botanical's and wildlife. But, that's all part of the journey.

Thank you. I'm in the OBOD Bardic grade, so pondering making the celebrations personal and localized for western Canada

Yes, it's so interesting trying to tweak those celebrations to the specific location we live at. I've found that I've tweaked the Imbolc ritual the most since it still feels so very much like the middle of winter here in Wisconsin. Good luck!

I will definitely check this book out. Your comments on adapting to the climate crisis are extremely spot on. 2020 has brought awareness to the environmental crisis to the area where I live (SLC, UT). We are approaching October with 80-degree weather; which is not normal for us. Being in a red-state there are also limited conversations about how to tackle this crisis and that is disheartening. Luckily, many people take things into their own hands and begin projects that are geared towards helping our environment.
**Random Question** Where did you get your triskele candle holder? It is absolutely stunning and I've been looking for one.

The limited conversations about climate crisis is the worst part. We could find solutions if we could just discuss it plainly and take action!
I can't help with the candle holder I'm afraid. I received it as a confirmation gift when I was 17 years old. :/
